1Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous, praise is comely for the upright.
1義人哪，你們應當靠耶和華歡樂； 正直人的讚美是合宜的。
2Give thanks unto the LORD with harp, sing praises unto Him with the psaltery of ten strings.
2你們應當彈琴稱謝耶和華， 用十弦瑟歌頌他。
3Sing unto Him a new song; play skilfully amid shouts of joy.
3應當向他唱新歌， 彈得巧妙，聲音洪亮。
4For the word of the LORD is upright; and all His work is done in faithfulness.
4因為耶和華的言語正直； 凡他所做的盡都誠實。
5He loveth righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the lovingkindness of the LORD.
5他喜愛仁義公平； 遍地滿了耶和華的慈愛。
6By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.
6諸天藉耶和華的命而造； 萬象藉他口中的氣而成。
7He gathereth the waters of the sea together as a heap; He layeth up the deeps in storehouses.
7他聚集海水如壘， 收藏深洋在庫房。
8Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
8願全地都敬畏耶和華！ 願世上的居民都懼怕他！
9For He spoke, and it was; He commanded, and it stood.
9因為他說有，就有， 命立，就立。
10The LORD bringeth the counsel of the nations to nought; He maketh the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect.
10耶和華使列國的籌算歸於無有， 使眾民的思念無有功效。
11The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of His heart to all generations.
11耶和華的籌算永遠立定； 他心中的思念萬代常存。
12Happy is the nation whose God is the LORD; the people whom He hath chosen for His own inheritance.
12以耶和華為上帝的，那國是有福的！ 他所揀選為自己產業的，那民是有福的！
13The LORD looketh from heaven; He beholdeth all the sons of men;
13耶和華從天上觀看； 他看見一切的世人。
14From the place of His habitation He looketh intently upon all the inhabitants of the earth;
14從他的居所往外察看地上一切的居民－
15He that fashioneth the hearts of them all, that considereth all their doings.
15他是那造成他們眾人心的， 留意他們一切作為的。
16A king is not saved by the multitude of a host; a mighty man is not delivered by great strength.
16君王不能因兵多得勝； 勇士不能因力大得救。
17A horse is a vain thing for safety; neither doth it afford escape by its great strength.
17靠馬得救是枉然的； 馬也不能因力大救人。
18Behold, the eye of the LORD is toward them that fear Him, toward them that wait for His mercy;
18耶和華的眼目看顧敬畏他的人 和仰望他慈愛的人，
19To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
19要救他們的命脫離死亡， 並使他們在饑荒中存活。
20Our soul hath waited for the LORD; He is our help and our shield.
20我們的心向來等候耶和華； 他是我們的幫助，我們的盾牌。
21For in Him doth our heart rejoice, because we have trusted in His holy name.
21我們的心必靠他歡喜， 因為我們向來倚靠他的聖名。
22Let Thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we have waited for Thee.
22耶和華啊，求你照着我們所仰望你的， 向我們施行慈愛！
