1BOOK V 'O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good, for His mercy endureth for ever.'
1KAPIi N A Ieowa, pwe i me mau, pwe a kala n an pan potopot eta.
2So let the redeemed of the LORD say, whom He hath redeemed from the hand of the adversary;
2Iduen me dorelar ren Ieowa kan pan indinda, irail me a kotin dorelar ja n nan pa en arail imwintiti;
3And gathered them out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the sea.
3Me a kotin kapokon pena ja n jap en maj en la n , o kapin la n , o pali apa n , o ja n madau.
4They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way; they found no city of habitation.
4Irail janjalo n jili nan jap tan, pol al apwal, re jota diarada deurail.
5Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
5Re men manadar o men nim piladar, o kaped arail luetalar.
6Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He delivered them out of their distresses.
6Rap weriwer wo n Ieowa ni ar kanka n era n er, o a kotin dore ir ja n nan ar apwal akan.
7And He led them by a straight way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
7O a kotin kalua ir o n al pu n , pwe ren lele o n wajan kaukaujon.
8Let them give thanks unto the LORD for His mercy, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
8Ren kapi n a Ieowa, pweki a kala n an o pweki a dodok manaman o n aramaj akan.
9For He hath satisfied the longing soul, and the hungry soul He hath filled with good.
9Pwe a kotin kamede kilar kaped en me men nim piladar, o kadir kila me mau kan kaped en me men ma n adar.
10Such as sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron —
10Me mi ni waja rotorot o mot en mela, me jalikidi luet o mata.
11Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the Most High.
11Pweki ar katiwo on majan en Kot, o ar mamaleki kujoned en ma lapalap o.
12Therefore He humbled their heart with travail, they stumbled, and there was none to help —
12I ap kaloke kin ir apwal akan, re wonon, a jota jauaj parail.
13They cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses.
13Rap weriwer wo n Ieowa ni ar apwal akan, i ap kotin dore ir ala jan katoutou parail.
14He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bands in sunder.
14A kotin kalua ir ja n nan rotorot, o mot en mela, o kotin kamueit paja n ar jal akan.
15Let them give thanks unto the LORD for His mercy, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
15Ren kapi n a Ieowa, pweki a kala n an o pweki a dodok manaman o n aramaj akan.
16For He hath broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in sunder.
16Pwe a kotin kawela wanim mata, o a kotin juk paja n kate n mata pan wanim akan.
17Crazed because of the way of their transgression, and afflicted because of their iniquities —
17Me pweipwei kan pan kalokolokki al en ar katiwo o ar japu n kan.
18Their soul abhorred all manner of food, and they drew near unto the gates of death —
18Kaped arail kin juedeki jo n en ma n a karoj, o re lel on kalian mela.
19They cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses;
19Rap weriwer wo n Ieowa ni ar apwal akan, i ap kotin dore ir ala jan katoutou parail.
20He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their graves.
20A kotin kadarado japwilim a majan, o kotin kamaur irail da, o kotin jauaja ir ja n nan ar por akan.
21Let them give thanks unto the LORD for His mercy, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
21Ren kapi n a leowa pweki a kala n an o pweki a dodok mau o n aramaj akan.
22And let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with singing.
22O ren mairo n ki mairo n en kapi n o kajokajoia duen a wiawia kan ki peren!
23They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters —
23Me kin mi pon madau o dake jop akan, o me kin netinet pon pil kalaimun akan,
24These saw the works of the LORD, and His wonders in the deep;
24Irail pukat kin kilekila n wiawian leowa kan, o a manaman akan nan madau.
25For He commanded, and raised the stormy wind, which lifted up the waves thereof;
25A kotin majan eta, melimel ap wiaui, me kin kalaudela iluk kan.
26They mounted up to the heaven, they went down to the deeps; their soul melted away because of trouble;
26Re kin koda ileile o kodi loledi, likamata kaped arail pei pajan ni ar majak.
27They reeled to and fro, and staggered like a drunken man, and all their wisdom was swallowed up —
27Re rarauk jili dueta me jakaular, o ar loleko n karoj pan joredi.
28They cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and He brought them out of their distresses.
28Rap weriwer wo n leowa ni ar apwal akan, i ap kotin dore ir ala ja n katoutou parail.
29He made the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof were still.
29A kotin kawuki o n mole melimel, iluk kan ap moledi.
30Then were they glad because they were quiet, and He led them unto their desired haven.
30Rap peren kida, ma re pan moledi, o a kotin kalua ir nan kapitau me re inon ion.
31Let them give thanks unto the LORD for His mercy, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
31Ren kapi n a leowa, pweki a kalanan, o pweki a dodok manaman o n aramaj akan.
32Let them exalt Him also in the assembly of the people, and praise Him in the seat of the elders.
32O ren kapi n a i nan pokon en aramaj, o ren kapi n a i nan momod en jaumaj akan.
33He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and watersprings into a thirsty ground;
33A kotin kawuki o n jap tan pilap akan, o utun pil akan o n jap madeko n .
34A fruitful land into a salt waste, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
34O jap kajelel eu wiala jap tan en jol, pweki dip en me kaukaujon waja o.
35He turneth a wilderness into a pool of water, and a dry land into watersprings.
35A kotin kawuki o n len pil jap tan, o jap jued o n utun pil.
36And there He maketh the hungry to dwell, and they establish a city of habitation;
36O a kotin mueid o n me men ma n adar akan, en kaukaujon waja o, o re wiadar deu arail.
37And sow fields, and plant vineyards, which yield fruits of increase.
37O re kin wia japajap o padukedi mat en wain, me kin wa ni a anjau.
38He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly, and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
38O a kotin kamau irail la, rap kin totolar, o a kotin ka n ederela arail man akan.
39Again, they are minished and dwindle away through oppression of evil and sorrow.
39O irail malaulaular o namenok kilar me jued, o japai o luet akan.
40He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the waste, where there is no way.
40A kotin wudokidi om jaupeidi kan namenok, o mueid o n ir, ren janjalo n jili nan jap tan, waja me jota al mia ia.
41Yet setteth He the needy on high from affliction, and maketh his families like a flock.
41O a kotin pokada me jamama o ja n ni a luet, o katotolar kadaudok a dueta pwin akai.
42The upright see it, and are glad; and all iniquity stoppeth her mouth.
42Me melel akan pan kila n , ap peren kida, o japu n kan karoj pan kaku pena au arail.
43Whoso is wise, let him observe these things, and let them consider the mercies of the LORD.
43Me loleko n kan pan kajampwale ki mepukat, o re pan dedeki kala n an en Ieowa.
