Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
1A Song of Ascents; of David. 'If it had not been the LORD who was for us', let Israel now say;
1IJRAEL en inda: Ma Ieowa jota pan kotin ieia n kit.
2'If it had not been the LORD who was for us, when men rose up against us,
2Ma Ieowa jota pan kotin ieia n kit, ni en aramaj akan ni palian kit.
3Then they had swallowed us up alive, when their wrath was kindled against us;
3Re pan katala kit ala ni at memaur, ni ar li n ara n ar kin kit.
4Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul;
4Pil akan ap pan kamop kit ala, pilap akan kadupwaledi n en it.
5Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.'
5Pil akan itida melel lao kadupwaledi n en it.
6Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
6Kapi n o n Ieowa, me jota mueid o n , n i arail en ter kit pajan!
7Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
7N en it piti ja n injar en jaun injar dueta manpir amen; injar ola, a kit pitila.
8Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
8Jauaj pat iei mar en Ieowa, me kotin kapikadar la n o jappa.
