Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
1A Song of Ascents. LORD, remember unto David all his affliction;
1MAI N Ieowa, kom kotin tamanda Dawid o a apwal akan karoj.
2How he swore unto the LORD, and vowed unto the Mighty One of Jacob:
2Me kauki o n Ieowa, o a inauki o n Kot manaman en Iakop.
3'Surely I will not come into the tent of my house, nor go up into the bed that is spread for me;
3I jota pan pedelo n o n nan im ai, o i jota pan wendi pon loj.
4I will not give sleep to mine eyes, nor slumber to mine eyelids;
4I jota pan mueid o n maj ai en mair, de por en maj ai, en mair pena.
5Until I find out a place for the LORD, a dwelling-place for the Mighty One of Jacob.'
5Lao i pan diar ekij waja o n Ieowa, wajan tanpaj en Kot manaman en Iakop.
6Lo, we heard of it as being in Ephrath; we found it in the field of the wood.
6Melel, je ro n er duen i nan Eprata; je diaradar i nan jap en laar.
7Let us go into His dwelling-place; let us worship at His footstool.
7Je pan pedelo n o n nan tanpaj a o kaudok ni utipa.
8Arise, O LORD, unto Thy resting-place; Thou, and the ark of Thy strength.
8Kotida, Mai n Ieowa, koti do n omui kamol, komui o kopan omui kala n an.
9Let Thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let Thy saints shout for joy.
9Japwilim omui jamero kan en likau kida pu n , o japwilim omui me jaraui kan en pereperen.
10For Thy servant David's sake turn not away the face of Thine anointed.
10Re der jopwei ja n maj en japwilim omui me keidier, pweki Dawid japwilim omui ladu.
11The LORD swore unto David in truth; He will not turn back from it: 'Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.
11Ieowa kotin kaula o n Dawid kaula melel eu, o a jota pan kawukila: I pan kajapwilda n mol om kijan kadaudok om.
12If thy children keep My covenant and My testimony that I shall teach them, their children also for ever shall sit upon thy throne.'
12Ma noum jeri ko pan kolekol ai inau, o ai kujoned akan, me I pan kawewe o n irail, nairail jeri ko ap pil pan mondi pon mol om kokolata.
13For the LORD hath chosen Zion; He hath desired it for His habitation:
13Melel Ieowa kotin pilada Jion, o a kotin men kotikot waja o.
14'This is My resting-place for ever; here will I dwell; for I have desired it.
14Iet wajan ai kamol kokolata; wata et, me I pan kaukaujon ia, pwe waja et I kin mauki.
15I will abundantly bless her provision; I will give her needy bread in plenty.
15I pan kapaiada kan a ma n a, o pan ki o n me jamma re’rail prot toto.
16Her priests also will I clothe with salvation; and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.
16O I pan kalikauwi kida maur arail, jamero kan, o me lelapok re’rail pan n iji n ij laud.
17There will I make a horn to shoot up unto David, there have I ordered a lamp for Mine anointed.
17I waja mana en Dawid pan pwaida mau, I kaonopada n nai, me kedier, marain eu.
18His enemies will I clothe with shame; but upon himself shall his crown shine.'
