1LA fondazione del Signore è ne' monti santi.
1A Psalm of the sons of Korah; a Song. His foundation is in the holy mountains.
2Il Signore ama le porte di Sion, Sopra tutte le stanze di Giacobbe.
2The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
3O Città di Dio, Cose gloriose son dette di te. (Sela.)
3Glorious things are spoken of Thee, O city of God. Selah
4Io mentoverò, dice al Signore , Rahab, e Babilonia, Fra quelli che mi conoscono; Ecco, i Filistei ed i Tiri insieme con gli Etiopi, De' quali si dirà: Costui è nato quivi.
4'I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon as among them that know Me; behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this one was born there.'
5E si dirà di Sion: Questi e quegli è nato in essa; E l'Altissimo stesso la stabilirà.
5But of Zion it shall be said: 'This man and that was born in her; and the Most High Himself doth establish her.'
6Il Signore, rassegnando i popoli, annovererà coloro , Dicendo: Un tale è nato quivi. (Sela.)
6The LORD shall count in the register of the peoples: 'This one was born there.' Selah
7E cantori, e suonatori, E tutte le mie fonti, saranno in te.
7And whether they sing or dance, all my thoughts are in Thee.
