1A psalm for David, at the finishing of the tabernacle. Bring to the Lord, O ye children of God: bring to the Lord the offspring of rams.
1Davidův. K toběť, Hospodine, volám, skálo má, neodmlčujž mi se, abych, neozval-li bys mi se, nebyl podobný učiněn těm, kteříž sstupují do hrobu.
2Bring to the Lord glory and honour: bring to the Lord glory to his name: adore ye the Lord in his holy court.
2Vyslýchej hlas pokorných modliteb mých, kdyžkoli k tobě volám, když pozdvihuji rukou svých k svatyni svatosti tvé.
3The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of majesty hath thundered, The Lord is upon many waters.
3Nezahrnuj mne s bezbožníky, a s těmi, kteříž páší nepravost, kteříž mluvívají pokoj s bližními svými, ale převrácenost jest v srdcích jejich.
4The voice of the Lord is in power; the voice of the Lord in magnificence.
4Dejž jim podlé skutků jejich, a podlé zlosti nešlechetností jejich; podlé práce rukou jejich dej jim, zaplať jim zaslouženou mzdu jejich.
5The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord shall break the cedars of Libanus.
5Nebo nechtí mysli přiložiti k skutkům Hospodinovým, a k dílu rukou jeho; protož podvrátí je, a nebude jich vzdělávati.
6And shall reduce them to pieces, as a calf of Libanus, and as the beloved son of unicorns.
6Požehnaný Hospodin, nebo vyslyšel hlas pokorných modliteb mých.
7The voice of the Lord divideth the flame of fire:
7Hospodin jest síla má a štít můj, v němť jest složilo naději srdce mé, a dána mi pomoc; protož se veselí srdce mé, a písničkou svou oslavovati jej budu.
8The voice of the Lord shaketh the desert: and the Lord shall shake the desert of Cades.
8Hospodin jest síla svých, a síla hojného spasení pomazaného svého on jest.
9The voice of the Lord prepareth the stags: and he will discover the thick woods: and in his temple all shall speak his glory.
9Spas lid svůj, Hospodine, a požehnej dědictví svému, a pas je, i vyvyš je až na věky.
10The Lord maketh the flood to dwell: and the Lord shall sit king for ever.
