1A psalm of David. Lord, who shall dwell in thy tabernacle? or who shall rest in thy holy hill?
1Přednímu zpěváku, píseň Davidova. Říká blázen v srdci svém: Není Boha. Porušeni jsou, a ohavní v snažnostech; není, kdo by činil dobré.
2He that walketh without blemish, and worketh justice:
2Hospodin s nebe popatřil na syny lidské, aby viděl, byl-li by kdo rozumný a hledající Boha.
3He that speaketh truth in his heart, who hath not used deceit in his tongue: Nor hath done evil to his neighbour: nor taken up a reproach against his neighbours.
3Všickni se odvrátili, napořád neužiteční učiněni jsou; není, kdo by činil dobré, není ani jednoho.
4In his sight the malignant is brought to nothing: but he glorifieth them that fear the Lord. He that sweareth to his neighbour, and deceiveth not;
4Zdaliž nevědí všickni činitelé nepravosti, že zžírají lid můj, jako by chléb jedli? Hospodina pak nevzývají.
5He that hath not put out his money to usury, nor taken bribes against the innocent: He that doth these things shall not be moved for ever.
5Tehdáž se náramně strašiti budou; nebo Bůh jest v rodině spravedlivého.
