1И рече Господ Мојсију и Арону говорећи им:
1And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:
2Кажите синовима Израиљевим и реците: Ово су животиње које ћете јести између свих животиња на земљи:
2Say to the children of Israel: These are the animals which you are to eat of all the living things of the earth.
3Шта год има папке и папци су му раздвојени и прежива између животиња, то једите.
3Whatsoever hath the hoof divided, and cheweth the cud among the beasts, you shall eat.
4Али оних што само преживају или што само имају папке раздвојене, не једите, као што је камила, јер прежива али нема папке раздвојене; да вам је нечиста;
4But whatsoever cheweth indeed the cud, and hath a hoof, but divideth it not, as the camel, and others, that you shall not eat, but shall reckon it among the unclean.

5The cherogrillus which cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof, is unclean.
6И зец дивљи, јер прежива али нема папке раздвојене; нечист да вам је.
6The hare also: for that too cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof.
7И свиња, јер има папке раздвојене али не прежива; нечиста да вам је;
7And the swine, which, though it divideth the hoof, cheweth not the cud.
8меса од њих не једите нити се стрва њиховог додевајте; јер вам је нечисто.
8The flesh of these you shall not eat, nor shall you touch their carcasses, because they are unclean to you.
9А између свега што је у води ово једите: Шта год има пера и љуску у води, по мору и по рекама, једите.
9These are the things that breed in the waters, and which it is lawful to eat. All that hath fins, and scales, as well in the sea, as in the rivers, and the pools, you shall eat.
10А шта нема пера и љуску у мору и у рекама између свега што се миче по води и живи у води, да вам је гадно.
10But whatsoever hath not fins and scales, of those things that move and live in the waters, shall be an abomination to you,
11Гадно да вам је, меса да им не једете, и на стрв њихов да се гадите.
11And detestable: their flesh you shall not eat, and their carcasses you shall avoid.
12Шта год нема пера и љуске у води, то да вам је гадно.
12All that have not fins and scales, in the waters, shall be unclean.
13А између птица ове да су вам гадне и да их не једете: орао и јастреб и морски орао,
13Of birds these are they which you must not eat, and which are to be avoided by you: The eagle, and the griffon, and the osprey,
14еја и крагуј по својим врстама,
14And the kite, and the vulture, according to their kind,
15и сваки гавран по својим врстама,
15And all that is of the raven kind, according to their likeness.
16и совуљага и ћук и лиска и кобац по својим врстама,
16The ostrich, and the owl, and the larus, and the hawk according to its kind.
17и буљина и гњурац и ушара,
17The screech owl, and the cormorant, and the ibis,
18и лабуд и гем и сврака,
18And the swan, and the bittern, and the porphyrion,
19и рода и чапља по свим врстама, и пупавац и љиљак.
19The heron, and the charadrion according to its kind, the houp also, and the bat.
20Шта год гамиже, а има крила и иде на четири ноге, да вам је гадно.
20Of things that fly, whatsoever goeth upon four feet, shall be abominable to you.
21Али између свега што гамиже а има крила и иде на четири ноге једите шта има стегна на ногама својим, којима скаче по земљи.
21But whatsoever walketh upon four feet, but hath the legs behind longer, wherewith it hoppeth upon the earth,
22Између њих једите ове: арба по врстама његовим, салема по врстама његовим, аргола по врстама његовим и агава по врстама његовим.
22That you shall eat, as the bruchus in its kind, the attacus, and ophiomachus, and the locust, every one according to their kind.
23А што гамиже, а има крила и четири ноге, да вам је гадно.
23But of dying things whatsoever hath four feet only, shall be an abomination to you:
24И о њих ћете се оскврнити; ко се год дотакне мртвог тела њиховог, да је нечист до вечера.
24And whosoever shall touch the carcasses of them, shall be defiled, and shall be unclean until the evening:
25И ко би год носио мртво тело њихово, нека опере хаљине своје, и да је нечист до вечера.
25And if it be necessary that he carry any of these things when they are dead, he shall wash his clothes, and shall be unclean until the sun set.
26Свака животиња која има папке али нераздвојене и не прежива, да вам је нечиста; ко их се год дотакне, да је нечист.
26Every beast that hath a hoof, but divideth it not, nor cheweth the cud, shall be unclean: and he that toucheth it, shall be defiled.
27И шта год иде на шапама између свих животиња четвороножних, да вам је нечисто; ко би се дотакао стрва њиховог, да је нечист до вечера.
27That which walketh upon hands of all animals which go on all four, shall be unclean: he that shall touch their carcasses shall be defiled until evening.
28И ко би носио стрв њихов, нека опере хаљине своје, и да је нечист до вечера; то да вам је нечисто.
28And he that shall carry such carcasses, shall wash his clothes, and shall be unclean until evening: because all these things are unclean to you.
29И између животиња које пужу по земљи да су вам нечисте: ласица и миш и корњача по врстама својим,
29These also shall be reckoned among unclean things, of all that move upon the earth, the weasel, and the mouse, and the crocodile, every one according to their kind:
30и јеж и гуштер и твор и пуж и кртица.
30The shrew, and the chameleon, and the stello, and the lizard, and the mole:
31То вам је нечисто између животиња које пужу; ко их се дотакне мртвих, да је нечист до вечера.
31All these are unclean. He that toucheth their carcasses shall be unclean until the evening.
32И свака ствар на коју падне које од њих мртво биће нечиста, била справа дрвена или хаљина или кожа или торба, и свака ствар која треба за какав посао, нека се метне у воду, и да је нечиста до вечера, после да је чиста.
32And upon what thing soever any of their carcasses shall fall, it shall be defiled, whether it be a vessel of wood, or a garment, or skins or haircloths; or any thing in which work is done, they shall be dipped in water, and shall be unclean until the evening, and so afterwards shall be clean.
33А сваки суд земљани, у који падне шта од тога, и шта год у њему буде, биће нечист, и разбијте га.
33But an earthen vessel, into which any of these shall fall, shall be defiled, and therefore is to be broken.
34И свако јело што се једе, ако на њега дође онаква вода, да је нечисто, и свако пиће што се пије у сваком таквом суду, да је нечисто.
34Any meat which you eat, if water from such a vessel be poured upon it, shall be unclean; and every liquor that is drunk out of any such vessel, shall be unclean.
35И на шта би пало шта од тела њиховог мртвог све да је нечисто, и пећ и огњиште да се развали, јер је нечисто и нека вам је нечисто.
35And upon whatsoever thing any of these dead beasts shall fall, it shall be unclean: whether it be oven, or pots with feet, they shall be destroyed, and shall be unclean.
36А студенац и убао, где се вода скупља, биће чист; али шта се дотакне стрва њиховог, биће нечисто.
36But fountains and cisterns, and all gatherings together of waters shall be clean. He that toucheth their carcasses shall be defiled.
37Ако ли шта од стрва њиховог падне на семе, које се сеје, оно ће бити чисто.
37If it fall upon seed corn, it shall not defile it.
38Али ако буде полито семе водом, па онда падне шта од стрва њиховог на семе, да вам је нечисто.
38But if any man pour water upon the seed, and afterwards it be touched by the carcasses, it shall be forthwith defiled.
39И кад угине животиња од оних које једете, ко се дотакне стрва њеног, да је нечист до вечера.
39If any beast die, of which it is lawful for you to eat, he that toucheth the carcass thereof, shall be unclean until the evening:
40А ко би јео од стрва њеног, нека опере хаљине своје и да је нечист до вечера; и ко би однео стрв њен, нека опере хаљине своје, и да је нечист до вечера.
40And he that eateth or carrieth any thing thereof, shall wash his clothes, and shall be unclean until the evening.
41И све што пуже по земљи, да вам је гадно, да се не једе.
41All that creepeth upon the earth shall be abominable, neither shall it be taken for meat.
42Шта год иде на трбуху и шта год иде на четири ноге или има више ногу између свега што пуже по земљи, то не једите, јер је гад.
42Whatsoever goeth upon the breast on four feet, or hath many feet, or traileth on the earth, you shall not eat, because it is abominable.
43Немојте се поганити ничим што гамиже и немојте се скврнити њима, да не будете нечисти с њих.
43Do not defile your souls, nor touch aught thereof, lest you be unclean,
44Јер ја сам Господ Бог ваш; зато се освећујте и будите свети, јер сам ја свет; и немојте се скврнити ничим што пуже по земљи.
44For I am the Lord your God: be holy because I am holy. Defile not your souls by any creeping thing, that moveth upon the earth.
45Јер ја сам Господ, који сам вас извео из земље мисирске да вам будем Бог; будите, дакле, свети, јер сам ја свет.
45For I am the Lord, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that I might be your God.
46Ово је закон за звери и за птице, и за све животиње што се мичу по води, и за сваку душу живу, која пуже по земљи.
46You shall be holy, because I am holy. This is the law of beasts and fowls, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and creepeth on the earth:
47Да се распознаје нечисто од чистог и животиња која се једе од животиње која се не једе.
47That you may know the differences of the clean, and unclean, and know what you ought to eat, and what to refuse.
