1万軍の主よ、 あなたの住まいは、なんと慕わしいことか。
1How lovely is Your dwelling place, O LORD of Hosts!
2私の魂は主の大庭を慕い、弱り果てるほどである。 私の心も肉体も、生ける神に喜び叫ぶ。
2My soul longs, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
3すずめは住み家を見つけ、 つばめも、ひなを育てる巣を、 万軍の主、私の王、私の神よ、あなたの祭壇の近くに見つけた。
3Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she places her young near Your altars, O LORD of Hosts, my King and my God.

4How blessed are those who dwell in Your house! They are ever praising You. Selah

9Take notice of our shield, O God, and look with favor on the face of Your anointed.
10あなたの大庭で過ごす一日は、ほかの千日にも勝る。 私は悪の天幕に住むよりも、 私の神の家の門番でありたいと願う。
10For better is one day in Your courts than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
11主なる神は太陽であり、盾である。 主は恵みと栄光を与えられる。 非の打ちどころなく歩む者に、良いものを何一つ惜しまれない。
11For the LORD God is a sun and a shield; the LORD gives grace and glory; He withholds no good thing from those who walk with integrity.
12万軍の主よ、 あなたに信頼する人は幸いである。
12O LORD of Hosts, how blessed is the man who trusts in You!
