1私は主に避け所を求める。 どうしてあなたがたは私の魂に、「鳥のように自分の山へ逃げよ」と言うのか。
1In the LORD I take refuge. How then can you say to me: “Flee like a bird to your mountain!
2見よ、悪者たちは弓を張り、 弦に矢をつがえ、 暗闇の中から心のまっすぐな者を射ようとしている。
2For behold, the wicked bend their bows. They set their arrow on the string to shoot from the shadows at the upright in heart.
3基が打ち壊されたなら、 義人に何ができるだろうか。
3If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?”
4主はその聖なる宮におられ、 主は天の王座に着いておられる。 その目は見渡し、 そのまなざしは人の子らを調べる。
4The LORD is in His holy temple; the LORD is on His heavenly throne. His eyes are watching closely; they examine the sons of men.
5主は義人を調べられるが、 悪者と暴力を愛する者を、その魂は憎まれる。
5The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked; His soul hates the lover of violence.
6主は悪者の上に燃える炭火を降らせる。 火と硫黄と焼けつく風が、彼らの杯に与えられる分となる。
6On the wicked He will rain down fiery coals and sulfur; a scorching wind will be their portion.
7主は義なる方であり、 義を愛される。 心のまっすぐな者は御顔を仰ぎ見る。
7For the LORD is righteous; He loves justice. The upright will see His face.
