1神は私たちの避け所、私たちの力。 苦難の時、すぐそばにおられる助け。
1God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble.
2それゆえ、私たちは恐れない。たとえ地が変わり、 山々が海のただ中に揺れ動いても。
2Therefore we will not fear, though the earth is transformed and the mountains are toppled into the depths of the seas,
3たとえ海の水がとどろき、波立ち、 その高まりによって山々が震えても。 セラ。
3though their waters roar and foam and the mountains quake in the surge. Selah
4一つの川がある。その流れは神の町を喜ばせ、 いと高き方の幕屋の聖なる場所を喜ばせる。
4There is a river whose streams delight the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.
5神はそのただ中におられ、町は揺るがない。 夜明けに神はこれを助けられる。
5God is within her; she will not be moved. God will help her when morning dawns.
6国々は激しく怒り、王国は揺れ動いた。 神が御声を上げられると、地は溶けた。
6Nations rage, kingdoms crumble; the earth melts when He lifts His voice.
7万軍の主は私たちと共におられる。 ヤコブの神は私たちの避け所である。 セラ。
7The LORD of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah
8来て、主の御業を見よ。 主が地にどのような荒廃をもたらされたかを。
8Come, see the works of the LORD, who brings devastation upon the earth.
9主は地の果てまでも戦いをやめさせる。 弓を折り、槍を砕き、 戦車を火で焼かれる。
9He makes wars to cease throughout the earth; He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; He burns the shields in the fire.
10「静まれ。そして、私が神であることを知れ。 私は国々の間で高く上げられる。 地において高く上げられる。」
10“Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted over the earth.”
11万軍の主は私たちと共におられる。 ヤコブの神は私たちの避け所である。 セラ。
