1主に感謝することは良いことである。 いと高き方よ、あなたの名をほめ歌うことは。
1It is good to praise the LORD, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High,
2朝にはあなたの慈しみを告げ知らせ、 夜ごとにあなたの真実を告げ知らせることは。
2to proclaim Your loving devotion in the morning and Your faithfulness at night
3十弦の琴と竪琴に合わせ、 琴の調べとともに。
3with the ten-stringed harp and the melody of the lyre.
4主よ、あなたは御業によって私を喜ばせてくださった。 私はあなたの御手の業を喜び歌う。
4For You, O LORD, have made me glad by Your deeds; I sing for joy at the works of Your hands.
5主よ、あなたの御業は、なんと偉大なのだろう。 あなたの御思いは、なんと深いのだろう。
5How great are Your works, O LORD, how deep are Your thoughts!
6分別のない者は知らない。 愚かな者は、このことを悟らない。
6A senseless man does not know, and a fool does not understand,
7悪者が草のように芽を出し、 悪を行う者が皆、栄えても、 彼らは永遠に滅ぼされる。
7that though the wicked sprout like grass, and all evildoers flourish, they will be forever destroyed.
8しかし主よ、あなたはとこしえに高くおられる。
8But You, O LORD, are exalted forever!
9見よ、主よ、あなたの敵を。 見よ、あなたの敵は滅び、 悪を行う者は皆、散らされる。
9For surely Your enemies, O LORD, surely Your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered.
10しかし、あなたは私の角を野牛の角のように高く上げ、 私は新しい油を注がれた。
10But You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox; with fine oil I have been anointed.
11私の目は敵を見届け、 私の耳は、私に逆らって立つ悪者たちのことを聞いた。
11My eyes see the downfall of my enemies; my ears hear the wailing of my wicked foes.
12義人は、なつめやしの木のように栄え、 レバノンの杉のように育つ。
12The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, and grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
13彼らは主の家に植えられ、 私たちの神の大庭で栄える。
13Planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God.
14年老いても、なお実を結び、 樹液に満ち、青々と茂る。
14In old age they will still bear fruit; healthy and green they will remain,
15それは、主が正しい方であることを示すためだ。 主は私の岩。 主には不正がない。
15to proclaim, “The LORD is upright; He is my Rock, and in Him there is no unrighteousness.”
