1เกี่ยวกับโมอับ พระยาห์เวห์แห่งกองทัพ พระเจ้าของอิสราเอล กล่าวดังนี้ “วิบัติแก่เนโบ! เพราะเมืองถูกทำลาย คีริยาธาอิมผิดหวัง ถูกยึดแล้ว มิสกาบ อับอาย และถูกทำลายลง
1Of Moab. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Woe unto Nebo! for it is spoiled; Kiriathaim is put to shame, it is taken; Misgab is put to shame and dismayed.

2The praise of Moab is no more; in Heshbon they have devised evil against her: 'Come, and let us cut her off from being a nation.' Thou also, O Madmen, shalt be brought to silence; the sword shall pursue thee.

3Hark! a cry from Horonaim, spoiling and great destruction!

5For by the ascent of Luhith with continual weeping shall they go up; for in the going down of Horonaim they have heard the distressing cry of destruction.

6Flee, save your lives, and be like a tamarisk in the wilderness.

7For, because thou hast trusted in thy works and in thy treasures, thou also shalt be taken; and Chemosh shall go forth into captivity, his priests and his princes together.

8And the spoiler shall come upon every city, and no city shall escape; the valley also shall perish, and the plain shall be destroyed; as the LORD hath spoken.

9Give wings unto Moab, for she must fly and get away; and her cities shall become a desolation, without any to dwell therein.
10“คนที่ทำงานของพระยาห์เวห์อย่างไม่ใส่ใจถูกสาปแช่ง คนที่กันดาบของตนไว้ไม่ให้เปื้อนเลือดถูกสาปแช่ง
10Cursed be he that doeth the work of the LORD with a slack hand, and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood.
11“โมอับอยู่อย่างสบายมาตั้งแต่วัยเยาว์ เขานอนนิ่งบนตะกอนของตน ไม่เคยถูกถ่ายจากภาชนะหนึ่งไปอีกภาชนะหนึ่ง และไม่เคยไปเป็นเชลย รสของเขาจึงยังคงอยู่ กลิ่นของเขาไม่เปลี่ยน
11Moab hath been at ease from his youth, and he hath settled on his lees, and hath not been emptied from vessel to vessel, neither hath he gone into captivity; therefore his taste remaineth in him, and his scent is not changed.

13And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Beth-el their confidence.

14How say ye: 'We are mighty men, and valiant men for the war'?

15Moab is spoiled, and they are gone up into her cities, and his chosen young men are gone down to the slaughter, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.

16The calamity of Moab is near to come, and his affliction hasteth fast.

17Bemoan him, all ye that are round about him, and all ye that know his name; say: 'How is the strong staff broken, the beautiful rod!'
18“ธิดาผู้พำนักในดีโบน จงลงจากเกียรติของเจ้า นั่งอยู่กับความกระหาย เพราะผู้ทำลายโมอับขึ้นมาต่อสู้กับเจ้าแล้ว เขาทำลายป้อมปราการของเจ้า
18O thou daughter that dwellest in Dibon, come down from thy glory, and sit in thirst; for the spoiler of Moab is come up against thee, he hath destroyed thy strongholds.
19ผู้อาศัยในอาโรเออร์ จงยืนข้างทางและเฝ้าดู ถามชายที่หนีและหญิงที่รอดมา ว่า ‘เกิดอะไรขึ้น?’
19O inhabitant of Aroer, stand by the way, and watch; ask him that fleeth, and her that escapeth; say: 'What hath been done?'
20โมอับผิดหวัง เพราะถูกทำลายลง จงร้องไห้คร่ำครวญ! แจ้งให้รู้ริมแม่น้ำอาร์โนนว่าโมอับถูกทำลายแล้ว
20Moab is put to shame, for it is dismayed; wail and cry; tell ye it in Arnon, that Moab is spoiled.
21การพิพากษามาถึงดินแดนที่ราบ ถึงโฮโลน ยาห์ซาห์ เมฟาอัท
21And judgment is come upon the country of the Plain; upon Holon, and upon Jahzah, and upon Mephaath;
22ถึงดีโบน เนโบ เบธดิบลาธาอิม
22and upon Dibon, and upon Nebo, and upon Beth-diblathaim;
23ถึงคีริยาธาอิม เบธกามูล เบธเมโอน
23and upon Kiriathaim, and upon Beth-gamul, and upon Beth-meon;
24ถึงเคริโอท โบสราห์ และทุกเมืองในดินแดนโมอับ ทั้งไกลและใกล้
24and upon Kerioth, and upon Bozrah, and upon all the cities of the land of Moab, far or near.
25เขาของโมอับถูกตัด แขนของเขาหักแล้ว” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว
25The horn of Moab is cut off, and his arm is broken, saith the LORD.

26Make ye him drunken, for he magnified himself against the LORD; and Moab shall wallow in his vomit, and he also shall be in derision.
27อิสราเอลไม่ได้เป็นที่เยาะเย้ยของเจ้าหรอกหรือ? มีใครพบเขาอยู่ในหมู่ขโมยหรือ? เพราะทุกครั้งที่เจ้าพูดถึงเขา เจ้าก็ส่ายหน้า
27For was not Israel a derision unto thee? Was he found among thieves? For as often as thou speakest of him, thou waggest the head.
28ผู้คนที่อาศัยในโมอับ จงออกจากเมืองไปอยู่ตามหินผา เป็นเหมือนนกเขาที่ทำรังเหนือปากเหว
28O ye that dwell in Moab, leave the cities, and dwell in the rock; and be like the dove that maketh her nest in the sides of the pit's mouth.
29“พวกเราได้ยินถึงความหยิ่งของโมอับ เขาหยิ่งยิ่งนัก ทั้งความยกตน ความหยิ่ง ความโอหัง และความโอหังในใจของเขา
29We have heard of the pride of Moab; he is very proud; his loftiness, and his pride, and his haughtiness, and the assumption of his heart.
30เรารู้ความเดือดดาลของเขา” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “ว่าไร้ค่า การโอ้อวดของเขาไม่ได้ทำอะไรสำเร็จ
30I know his arrogancy, saith the LORD, that it is ill-founded; his boastings have wrought nothing well-founded.
31ดังนั้นเราจะคร่ำครวญให้โมอับ จริงทีเดียว เราจะร้องไห้ให้โมอับทั้งหมด พวกเขาจะไว้ทุกข์ให้ชาวคีร์เฮเรส
31Therefore will I wail for Moab; yea, I will cry out for all Moab; for the men of Kir-heres shall my heart moan.

32With more than the weeping of Jazer will I weep for thee, O vine of Sibmah; thy branches passed over the sea, they reached even to the sea of Jazer; upon thy summer fruits and upon thy vintage the spoiler is fallen.
33ความรื่นเริงและความยินดีหมดไปจากทุ่งที่ออกผล และจากดินแดนโมอับ เราทำให้เหล้าองุ่นหมดไปจากบ่อย่ำองุ่น ไม่มีใครย่ำองุ่นพร้อมเสียงโห่ร้อง เสียงโห่ร้องจะไม่ใช่เสียงโห่ร้อง
33And gladness and joy is taken away from the fruitful field, and from the land of Moab; and I have caused wine to cease from the winepresses; none shall tread with shouting; the shouting shall be no shouting.

34From the cry of Heshbon even unto Elealeh, even unto Jahaz have they uttered their voice, from Zoar even unto Horonaim, a heifer of three years old; for the Waters of Nimrim also shall be desolate.
35เราจะทำให้หมดไปจากโมอับด้วย” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “ทั้งคนที่ถวายเครื่องบูชาในสถานบูชาบนที่สูง และคนที่เผาเครื่องหอมแก่เทพเจ้าของตน
35Moreover I will cause to cease in Moab, saith the LORD, him that offereth in the high place, and him that offereth to his gods.
36ใจเราจึงส่งเสียงเหมือนขลุ่ยให้โมอับ ใจเราส่งเสียงเหมือนขลุ่ยให้ชาวคีร์เฮเรส ดังนั้นทรัพย์มากมายที่เขาหามาจึงสูญสิ้น
36Therefore my heart moaneth for Moab like pipes, and my heart moaneth like pipes for the men of Kir-heres; therefore the abundance that he hath gotten is perished.
37เพราะทุกศีรษะโล้น ทุกเคราถูกตัด ทุกมือมีรอยกรีด ทุกเอวมีผ้ากระสอบ
37For every head is bald, and every beard clipped; upon all the hands are cuttings, and upon the loins sackcloth.
38บนหลังคาบ้านทุกหลังของโมอับ และตามถนน มีเสียงคร่ำครวญทุกแห่ง เพราะเราทำโมอับแตกเหมือนภาชนะที่ไม่มีใครพอใจ” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว
38On all the housetops of Moab and in the broad places thereof there is lamentation every where; for I have broken Moab like a vessel wherein is no pleasure, saith the LORD.
39“พังลงเสียแล้ว! พวกเขาคร่ำครวญกันเพียงใด! โมอับหันหลังด้วยความอับอายเสียแล้ว! โมอับจะเป็นที่เยาะเย้ย และเป็นที่หวาดกลัวของทุกคนรอบเขา”
39'How is it broken down!' wail ye! 'How hath Moab turned the back with shame!' So shall Moab become a derision and a dismay to all that are round about him.
40เพราะพระยาห์เวห์กล่าวว่า “ดูเถิด เขาจะบินเหมือนนกอินทรี จะกางปีกต่อสู้กับโมอับ
40For thus saith the LORD: Behold, he shall swoop as a vulture, and shall spread out his wings against Moab.
41เคริโอทถูกยึด ป้อมปราการถูกจับไว้ ในวันนั้น ใจของนักรบผู้เก่งกล้าแห่งโมอับ จะเป็นเหมือนใจหญิงที่เจ็บท้องคลอด
41The cities are taken, and the strongholds are seized, and the heart of the mighty men of Moab at that day shall be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.
42โมอับจะถูกทำลายจนไม่เป็นชนชาติ เพราะเขายกตนต่อต้านพระยาห์เวห์
42And Moab shall be destroyed from being a people, because he hath magnified himself against the LORD.
43ความหวาดกลัว หลุม และบ่วง อยู่เหนือเจ้า ผู้อาศัยในโมอับ” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว
43Terror, and the pit, and the trap, are upon thee, O inhabitant of Moab, saith the LORD.
44“คนที่หนีจากความหวาดกลัวจะตกหลุม คนที่ขึ้นจากหลุมจะถูกจับในบ่วง เพราะเราจะนำมาสู่เขา คือโมอับ ปีที่พวกเขาจะถูกลงโทษ” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว
44He that fleeth from the terror shall fall into the pit; and he that getteth up out of the pit shall be taken in the trap; for I will bring upon her, even upon Moab, the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.
45“คนที่หนีมายืนไร้กำลังใต้เงาเฮชโบน เพราะไฟออกจากเฮชโบน เปลวไฟออกจากท่ามกลางสิโหน เผาผลาญมุมของโมอับ และกระหม่อมของพวกที่ส่งเสียงอื้ออึง
45In the shadow of Heshbon the fugitives stand without strength; for a fire is gone forth out of Heshbon, and a flame from the midst of Sihon, and it devoureth the corner of Moab, and the crown of the head of the tumultuous ones.
46วิบัติแก่เจ้า โมอับ! ประชาชนของเคโมชสูญสิ้น เพราะลูกชายของเจ้าถูกนำไปเป็นเชลย และลูกสาวของเจ้าไปเป็นเชลย
46Woe unto thee, O Moab! The people of Chemosh is undone; for thy sons are taken away captive, and thy daughters into captivity.
47“แต่เราจะฟื้นฟูโมอับจากการเป็นเชลยในวันเวลาภายหน้า” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว การพิพากษาโมอับจบลงเพียงนี้
47Yet will I turn the captivity of Moab in the end of days, saith the LORD. Thus far is the judgment of Moab.
