1論 摩押 。萬軍之耶和華－ 以色列 的上帝如此說： 尼波 有禍了！因變為荒場。 基列亭 蒙羞被攻取； 米斯迦 蒙羞被毀壞；
1Of Moab. Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Woe unto Nebo! for it is spoiled; Kiriathaim is put to shame, it is taken; Misgab is put to shame and dismayed.
2摩押 不再被稱讚。 有人在 希實本 設計謀害她， 說 ： 來吧！我們將她剪除，不再成國。 瑪得緬 哪，你也必默默無聲； 刀劍必追趕你。
2The praise of Moab is no more; in Heshbon they have devised evil against her: 'Come, and let us cut her off from being a nation.' Thou also, O Madmen, shalt be brought to silence; the sword shall pursue thee.
3從 何羅念 有喊荒涼大毀滅的哀聲：
3Hark! a cry from Horonaim, spoiling and great destruction!
4摩押 毀滅了！ 她的孩童發哀聲，使人聽見。
4Moab is destroyed; her little ones have caused a cry to be heard.
5人上 魯希 坡隨走隨哭， 因為在 何羅念 的下坡聽見毀滅的哀聲。
5For by the ascent of Luhith with continual weeping shall they go up; for in the going down of Horonaim they have heard the distressing cry of destruction.
6你們要奔逃，自救性命， 獨自居住 ，好像曠野的杜松。
6Flee, save your lives, and be like a tamarisk in the wilderness.
7你因倚靠自己所做的和自己的財寶必被攻取。 基抹 和屬他的祭司、首領也要一同被擄去。
7For, because thou hast trusted in thy works and in thy treasures, thou also shalt be taken; and Chemosh shall go forth into captivity, his priests and his princes together.
8行毀滅的必來到各城， 並無一城得免。 山谷必致敗落， 平原必被毀壞； 正如耶和華所說的。
8And the spoiler shall come upon every city, and no city shall escape; the valley also shall perish, and the plain shall be destroyed; as the LORD hath spoken.
9要將翅膀給 摩押 ， 使她可以飛去。 她的城邑必致荒涼， 無人居住。 （
9Give wings unto Moab, for she must fly and get away; and her cities shall become a desolation, without any to dwell therein.
10懶惰為耶和華行事的，必受咒詛；禁止刀劍不經血的，必受咒詛。）
10Cursed be he that doeth the work of the LORD with a slack hand, and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood.
11摩押 自幼年以來常享安逸， 如酒 在渣滓上澄清， 沒有從這器皿倒在那器皿裏， 也未曾被擄去。 因此，它的原味尚存， 香氣未變。
11Moab hath been at ease from his youth, and he hath settled on his lees, and hath not been emptied from vessel to vessel, neither hath he gone into captivity; therefore his taste remaineth in him, and his scent is not changed.
12耶和華說：「日子將到，我必打發倒 酒 的往她那裏去，將她倒出來，倒空她的器皿，打碎她的罈子。
12Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will send unto him them that tilt up, and they shall tilt him up; and they shall empty his vessels, and break their bottles in pieces.
13摩押 必因 基抹 羞愧，像 以色列 家從前倚靠 伯特利 的神 羞愧一樣。
13And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Beth-el their confidence.
14你們怎麼說： 我們是勇士，是有勇力打仗的呢？
14How say ye: 'We are mighty men, and valiant men for the war'?
15摩押 變為荒場， 敵人上去進了她的城邑。 她所特選的少年人下去遭了殺戮； 這是君王－名為萬軍之耶和華說的。
15Moab is spoiled, and they are gone up into her cities, and his chosen young men are gone down to the slaughter, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.
16摩押 的災殃臨近； 她的苦難速速來到。
16The calamity of Moab is near to come, and his affliction hasteth fast.
17凡在她四圍的和認識她名的， 你們都要為她悲傷，說： 那結實的杖和那美好的棍， 何竟折斷了呢？
17Bemoan him, all ye that are round about him, and all ye that know his name; say: 'How is the strong staff broken, the beautiful rod!'
18住在 底本 的民哪， 要從你榮耀的位上下來， 坐受乾渴； 因毀滅 摩押 的上來攻擊你， 毀壞了你的保障。
18O thou daughter that dwellest in Dibon, come down from thy glory, and sit in thirst; for the spoiler of Moab is come up against thee, he hath destroyed thy strongholds.
19住 亞羅珥 的啊， 要站在道旁觀望， 問逃避的男人和逃脫的女人說： 是甚麼事呢？
19O inhabitant of Aroer, stand by the way, and watch; ask him that fleeth, and her that escapeth; say: 'What hath been done?'
20摩押 因毀壞蒙羞； 你們要哀號呼喊， 要在 亞嫩 旁報告說： 摩押 變為荒場！
20Moab is put to shame, for it is dismayed; wail and cry; tell ye it in Arnon, that Moab is spoiled.
21「刑罰臨到平原之地的 何倫 、 雅雜 、 米法押 、
21And judgment is come upon the country of the Plain; upon Holon, and upon Jahzah, and upon Mephaath;
22底本 、 尼波 、 伯‧低比拉太音 、
22and upon Dibon, and upon Nebo, and upon Beth-diblathaim;
23基列亭 、 伯‧迦末 、 伯‧米恩 、
23and upon Kiriathaim, and upon Beth-gamul, and upon Beth-meon;
24加略 、 波斯拉 ，和 摩押 地遠近所有的城邑。
24and upon Kerioth, and upon Bozrah, and upon all the cities of the land of Moab, far or near.
25摩押 的角砍斷了， 摩押 的膀臂折斷了。這是耶和華說的。」
25The horn of Moab is cut off, and his arm is broken, saith the LORD.
26「你們要使 摩押 沉醉，因她向耶和華誇大。她要在自己所吐之中打滾，又要被人嗤笑。
26Make ye him drunken, for he magnified himself against the LORD; and Moab shall wallow in his vomit, and he also shall be in derision.
27摩押 啊，你不曾嗤笑 以色列 嗎？她豈是在賊中查出來的呢？你每逢提到她便搖頭。
27For was not Israel a derision unto thee? Was he found among thieves? For as often as thou speakest of him, thou waggest the head.
28摩押 的居民哪， 要離開城邑，住在山崖裏， 像鴿子在深淵口上搭窩。
28O ye that dwell in Moab, leave the cities, and dwell in the rock; and be like the dove that maketh her nest in the sides of the pit's mouth.
29我們聽說 摩押 人驕傲， 是極其驕傲； 聽說他自高自傲， 並且狂妄，居心自大。
29We have heard of the pride of Moab; he is very proud; his loftiness, and his pride, and his haughtiness, and the assumption of his heart.
30耶和華說： 我知道他的忿怒是虛空的； 他誇大的話一無所成。
30I know his arrogancy, saith the LORD, that it is ill-founded; his boastings have wrought nothing well-founded.
31因此，我要為 摩押 哀號， 為 摩押 全地呼喊； 人必為 吉珥‧哈列設 人歎息。
31Therefore will I wail for Moab; yea, I will cry out for all Moab; for the men of Kir-heres shall my heart moan.
32西比瑪 的葡萄樹啊，我為你哀哭， 甚於 雅謝 人哀哭。 你的枝子蔓延過海， 直長到 雅謝海 。 那行毀滅的已經臨到你夏天的果子 和你所摘的葡萄。
32With more than the weeping of Jazer will I weep for thee, O vine of Sibmah; thy branches passed over the sea, they reached even to the sea of Jazer; upon thy summer fruits and upon thy vintage the spoiler is fallen.
33肥田和 摩押 地的歡喜快樂都被奪去； 我使酒醡的酒絕流， 無人踹酒歡呼； 那歡呼卻變為 仇敵的 吶喊。
33And gladness and joy is taken away from the fruitful field, and from the land of Moab; and I have caused wine to cease from the winepresses; none shall tread with shouting; the shouting shall be no shouting.
34「 希實本 人發的哀聲達到 以利亞利 ，直達到 雅雜 ；從 瑣珥 達到 何羅念 ，直到 伊基拉‧施利施亞 ，因為 寧林 的水必然乾涸。」
34From the cry of Heshbon even unto Elealeh, even unto Jahaz have they uttered their voice, from Zoar even unto Horonaim, a heifer of three years old; for the Waters of Nimrim also shall be desolate.
35耶和華說：「我必在 摩押 地使那在邱壇獻祭的，和那向他的神燒香的都斷絕了。
35Moreover I will cause to cease in Moab, saith the LORD, him that offereth in the high place, and him that offereth to his gods.
36我心腹為 摩押 哀鳴如簫，我心腸為 吉珥‧哈列設 人也是如此，因 摩押 人所得的財物都滅沒了。
36Therefore my heart moaneth for Moab like pipes, and my heart moaneth like pipes for the men of Kir-heres; therefore the abundance that he hath gotten is perished.
37「各人頭上光禿，鬍鬚剪短，手有劃傷，腰束麻布。
37For every head is bald, and every beard clipped; upon all the hands are cuttings, and upon the loins sackcloth.
38在 摩押 的各房頂上和街市上處處有人哀哭；因我打碎 摩押 ，好像打碎無人喜悅的器皿。這是耶和華說的。
38On all the housetops of Moab and in the broad places thereof there is lamentation every where; for I have broken Moab like a vessel wherein is no pleasure, saith the LORD.
39摩押 何等毀壞！何等哀號！何等羞愧轉背！這樣， 摩押 必令四圍的人嗤笑驚駭。」
39'How is it broken down!' wail ye! 'How hath Moab turned the back with shame!' So shall Moab become a derision and a dismay to all that are round about him.
40耶和華如此說： 仇敵必如大鷹飛起， 展開翅膀，攻擊 摩押 。
40For thus saith the LORD: Behold, he shall swoop as a vulture, and shall spread out his wings against Moab.
41加略 被攻取，保障也被佔據。 到那日， 摩押 的勇士心中疼痛如臨產的婦人。
41The cities are taken, and the strongholds are seized, and the heart of the mighty men of Moab at that day shall be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.
42摩押 必被毀滅，不再成國， 因她向耶和華誇大。
42And Moab shall be destroyed from being a people, because he hath magnified himself against the LORD.
43耶和華說： 摩押 的居民哪， 恐懼、陷坑、網羅都臨近你。
43Terror, and the pit, and the trap, are upon thee, O inhabitant of Moab, saith the LORD.
44躲避恐懼的必墜入陷坑； 從陷坑上來的必被網羅纏住； 因我必使追討之年臨到 摩押 。 這是耶和華說的。
44He that fleeth from the terror shall fall into the pit; and he that getteth up out of the pit shall be taken in the trap; for I will bring upon her, even upon Moab, the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.
45躲避的人無力站在 希實本 的影下； 因為有火從 希實本 發出， 有火焰出於 西宏 的城 ， 燒盡 摩押 的角和鬨嚷人的頭頂。
45In the shadow of Heshbon the fugitives stand without strength; for a fire is gone forth out of Heshbon, and a flame from the midst of Sihon, and it devoureth the corner of Moab, and the crown of the head of the tumultuous ones.
46摩押 啊，你有禍了！ 屬 基抹 的民滅亡了！ 因你的眾子都被擄去， 你的眾女也被擄去。
46Woe unto thee, O Moab! The people of Chemosh is undone; for thy sons are taken away captive, and thy daughters into captivity.
47耶和華說： 到末後，我還要使被擄的 摩押 人歸回。 摩押 受審判的話到此為止。
47Yet will I turn the captivity of Moab in the end of days, saith the LORD. Thus far is the judgment of Moab.
