1それから彼は私を北の方へ、外庭に連れ出した。そして、別区画に面し、北側の建物にも面している部屋へ連れて行った。
1Then he brought me forth into the outer court, the way toward the north; and he brought me into the chamber that was over against the separate place, and which was over against the building, toward the north,
2北側の入口に面した部分は長さ百キュビト、 幅五十キュビトであった。
2even to the front of the length of a hundred cubits, with the door on the north, and the breadth of fifty cubits,
3内庭に属する二十キュビトの空間と、外庭に属する石畳に面して、三階には回廊と回廊が向かい合っていた。
3over against the twenty cubits which belonged to the inner court, and over against the pavement which belonged to the outer court; with gallery against gallery in three stories.
4部屋の前には、内側に向かって幅十キュビトの通路があり、そこへ通じる道は幅一キュビトであった。部屋の戸口は北を向いていた。
4And before the chambers was a walk of ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors were toward the north.
5上の部屋は狭かった。建物の回廊が、下の階や中の階よりも上の階の場所を多く占めていたからである。
5Now the upper chambers were shorter; for the galleries took away from these, more than from the lower and the middlemost, in the building.
6部屋は三階建てであったが、庭の柱のような柱がなかった。そのため、上の階は地面から見て、下の階や中の階よりも奥に引っ込んでいた。
6For they were in three stories, and they had not pillars as the pillars of the courts; therefore room was taken away from the lowest and the middlemost, in comparison with the ground.
7部屋の外側、外庭に面して部屋の前にある壁は、長さ五十キュビトであった。
7And the wall that was without by the side of the chambers, toward the outer court in front of the chambers, the length thereof was fifty cubits.
8外庭にある部屋の長さは五十キュビトであった。見よ、宮に面する部屋の長さは百キュビトであった。
8For the length of the chambers that were toward the outer court was fifty cubits; and, lo, before the temple were a hundred cubits.
9これらの部屋の下には、外庭から部屋に入るための東側の入口があった。
9And from under these chambers was the entry on the east side, as one goeth into them from the outer court.
10庭の壁の厚みの中、東側の別区画と建物に面する所にも部屋があった。
10In the breadth of the wall of the court toward the east, before the separate place, and before the building, there were chambers,
11その前の通路は、北側の部屋の通路と同じ外観であった。部屋の長さと幅は同じで、すべての出口、造り、戸口も同じであった。
11with a way before them; like the appearance of the chambers which were toward the north, as long as they, and as broad as they, with all their goings out, and according to their fashions; and as their doors,
12南側の部屋の戸口と同じように、通路の先にも戸口があった。その通路は東側の壁の正面にあり、そこから部屋に入るようになっていた。
12so were also the doors of the chambers that were toward the south, there was a door in the head of the way, even the way directly before the wall, toward the way from the east, as one entereth into them.
13彼は私に言った。「別区画に面する北側の部屋と南側の部屋は聖なる部屋である。主に近づく祭司たちは、そこで最も聖なるものを食べる。そこに、最も聖なるもの、すなわち穀物のささげ物、罪のきよめのささげ物、罪過のささげ物を置く。この場所は聖なるものだからである。
13Then said he unto me: 'The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they are the holy chambers, where the priests that are near unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things; there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meal-offering, and the sin-offering, and the guilt-offering; for the place is holy.
14祭司たちは聖所に入った後、務めのために着た衣服をそこで脱いで置くまでは、聖所から外庭へ出てはならない。それらの衣服は聖なるものだからである。それから別の衣服を着て、民のための場所に近づかなければならない。」
14When the priests enter in, then shall they not go out of the holy place into the outer court, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister, for they are holy; and they shall put on other garments, and shall approach to that which pertaineth to the people.'
15彼は内側の宮を測り終えると、東を向く門から私を連れ出し、その周囲全体を測った。
15Now when he had made an end of measuring the inner house, he brought me forth by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east, and measured it round about.
16測り竿で東側を測ると、五百竿であった。
16He measured the east side with the measuring reed, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.
17測り竿で北側を測ると、五百竿であった。
17He measured the north side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.
18測り竿で南側を測ると、五百竿であった。
18He measured the south side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed.
19彼は西側に回り、測り竿で五百竿を測った。
19He turned about to the west side, and measured five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.
20彼は四方を測った。その周囲には壁があり、長さ五百キュビト、幅五百キュビトで、聖なるものと俗なるものとを分けていた。
20He measured it by the four sides; it had a wall round about, the length five hundred, and the breadth five hundred, to make a separation between that which was holy and that which was common.
