1彼は私を本堂へ連れて行き、脇柱を測った。こちら側の幅は六キュビト、あちら側の幅も六キュビトで、それが幕屋の幅であった。
1And he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, which was the breadth of the tent.
2入口の幅は十キュビト、 入口の両側の壁は、それぞれ五キュビトであった。彼が本堂を測ると、長さは四十キュビト、幅は二十キュビトであった。
2And the breadth of the entrance was ten cubits; and the sides of the entrance were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side; and he measured the length thereof, forty cubits, and the breadth, twenty cubits.
3それから彼は内側へ入り、入口の脇柱を測ると、それぞれ二キュビトであった。入口部分の長さは六キュビト、その幅は七キュビトであった。
3Then went he inward, and measured each post of the entrance, two cubits; and the entrance, six cubits; and the breadth of the entrance, seven cubits.
4彼が本堂の奥にある部屋を測ると、長さは二十キュビト、幅も二十キュビトであった。彼は私に、「ここが至聖所である」と言った。
4And he measured the length thereof, twenty cubits, and the breadth, twenty cubits, before the temple; and he said unto me: 'This is the most holy place.'
5それから彼は宮の壁を測ると六キュビト、宮を四方から囲む各脇部屋の幅は四キュビトであった。
5Then he measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and the breadth of every side-chamber, four cubits, round about the house on every side.
6脇部屋は三階建てで、各階に三十室あり、上へ上へと重なっていた。宮の壁の周囲には脇部屋を支える段が設けられていたので、部屋の梁を宮の壁に差し込む必要はなかった。
6And the side-chambers were one over another, three and thirty times; and there were cornices in the wall which belonged to the house for the side-chambers round about, that they might have hold therein, and not have hold in the wall of the house.
7脇部屋は上の階ほど広くなっていた。宮を囲む壁が上の階ほど狭くなっていたからである。そのため、宮は上に行くほど幅が広くなり、下の階から中の階を通って上の階へ上るようになっていた。
7And the side-chambers were broader as they wound about higher and higher; for the winding about of the house went higher and higher round about the house; therefore the breadth of the house continued upward; and so one went up from the lowest row to the highest by the middle.
8また、宮の周囲には高くなった基壇があるのが見えた。脇部屋の基礎は、長キュビト六キュビト、すなわち一竿分であった。
8I saw also that the house had a raised basement round about; the foundations of the side-chambers were a full reed of six cubits to the joining.
9脇部屋の外壁の厚さは五キュビトであった。宮に属する脇部屋の外側には空き地が残されていた。
9The breadth of the outer wall which belonged to the side-chambers was five cubits; and so that which was left by the structure of the side-chambers that belonged to the house.
10部屋と部屋との間には、宮を四方から囲む幅二十キュビトの空間があった。
10And between the chambers was a breadth of twenty cubits round about the house on every side.
11脇部屋の戸口は残された空き地に面しており、一つは北向き、もう一つは南向きであった。周囲の空き地の幅は五キュビトであった。
11And the doors of the side-chambers were toward the place that was left, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south; and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits round about.
12西側の別区画に面する建物は、幅七十キュビトであった。その建物を囲む壁の厚さは五キュビト、建物の長さは九十キュビトであった。
12And the building that was before the separate place at the side toward the west was seventy cubits broad; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick round about, and the length thereof ninety cubits.
13彼が宮を測ると、長さは百キュビトであった。別区画と、その建物と壁を合わせた長さも百キュビトであった。
13And he measured the house, a hundred cubits long; and the separate place, and the building, with the walls thereof, a hundred cubits long;
14宮の東側の正面と別区画を合わせた幅も百キュビトであった。
14also the breadth of the face of the house and of the separate place toward the east, a hundred cubits.
15彼が宮の背後にある別区画に面した建物と、その両側の回廊の長さを測ると、百キュビトであった。内側の宮と庭の前廊、
15And he measured the length of the building before the separate place which was at the back thereof, and the galleries thereof on the one side and on the other side, a hundred cubits. Now the temple, and the inner place, and the porches of the court,
16敷居、格子窓、三階にわたって周囲にある回廊は、敷居に面する所も含め、周囲を木で覆われていた。木の覆いは地面から窓まで達し、窓にも覆いがあった。
16the jambs, and the narrow windows, and the galleries, that they three had round about, over against the jambs there was a veneering of wood round about, and from the ground up to the windows; and the windows were covered;
17戸口の上から内側の宮まで、また外側も、内外の壁の周囲全体が、定められた寸法に従って造られていた。
17to the space above the door, even unto the inner house, and without, and on all the wall round about within and without, by measure.
18そこにはケルビムとなつめやしの木が彫られていた。ケルブとケルブの間には、なつめやしの木が一本ずつあり、各ケルブには二つの顔があった。
18And it was made with cherubim and palm-trees; and a palm-tree was between cherub and cherub, and every cherub had two faces;
19一方には、なつめやしの木に向いた人の顔があり、もう一方には、なつめやしの木に向いた若い獅子の顔があった。宮の周囲全体がこのように造られていた。
19so that there was the face of a man toward the palm-tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm-tree on the other side; thus was it made through all the house round about.
20地面から戸口の上まで、ケルビムとなつめやしの木が彫られていた。宮の壁はこのようになっていた。
20From the ground unto above the door were cherubim and palm-trees made; and so on the wall of the temple.
21本堂の脇柱は四角形であった。本堂の正面は、宮の正面と同じ外観であった。
21As for the temple, the jambs were squared; and the face of the sanctuary had an appearance such as is the appearance.
22祭壇は木で造られ、高さ三キュビト、長さ二キュビトであった。その四隅、土台、側面も木で造られていた。彼は私に、「これは主の前にある食卓である」と言った。
22The altar, three cubits high, and the length thereof two cubits, was of wood, and so the corners thereof; the length thereof, and the walls thereof, were also of wood; and he said unto me: 'This is the table that is before the LORD.'
23本堂と至聖所には、それぞれ二枚戸があった。
23And the temple and the sanctuary had two doors.
24それぞれの戸には、回転する戸板が二枚ずつあった。一方の戸に二枚、もう一方の戸にも二枚であった。
24And the doors had two leaves apiece, two turning leaves; two leaves for the one door, and two leaves for the other.
25本堂の戸には、壁に彫られたものと同じケルビムとなつめやしの木が彫られていた。外側の前廊の正面には木の敷居があった。
25And there were made on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubim and palm-trees, like as were made upon the walls; and there were thick beams of wood upon the face of the porch without.
26前廊の両側には格子窓となつめやしの木があった。宮の脇部屋と敷居も、このように造られていた。
26And there were narrow windows and palm-trees on the one side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch; there were also the brackets of the house, and the thick beams.
