1เพื่อเห็นแก่ศิโยน ข้าพเจ้าจะไม่นิ่งเงียบ และเพื่อเห็นแก่เยรูซาเล็ม ข้าพเจ้าจะไม่พัก จนกว่าความเที่ยงธรรมของเธอจะส่องออกเหมือนรุ่งเช้า และความรอดของเธอเหมือนตะเกียงที่ลุกไหม้
1For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
2ชนชาติต่าง ๆ จะเห็นความเที่ยงธรรมของเจ้า และกษัตริย์ทั้งปวงจะเห็นความรุ่งโรจน์ของเจ้า เจ้าจะได้รับชื่อใหม่ ที่ปากของพระยาห์เวห์จะตั้งให้
2And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
3เจ้าจะเป็นมงกุฎงดงามในมือของพระยาห์เวห์ด้วย เป็นมงกุฎกษัตริย์ในมือของพระเจ้าของเจ้า
3Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD , and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
4เจ้าจะไม่ถูกเรียกว่าผู้ถูกทอดทิ้งอีก และแผ่นดินของเจ้าจะไม่ถูกเรียกว่าที่รกร้างอีก แต่เจ้าจะถูกเรียกว่าเฮฟซีบาห์ และแผ่นดินของเจ้าจะถูกเรียกว่าเบอูลาห์ เพราะพระยาห์เวห์ชื่นชอบเจ้า และแผ่นดินของเจ้าจะได้แต่งงาน
4Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzi-bah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.
5เพราะชายหนุ่มแต่งงานกับหญิงพรหมจารีฉันใด ลูกชายของเจ้าก็จะแต่งงานกับเจ้าฉันนั้น เจ้าบ่าวยินดีกับเจ้าสาวฉันใด พระเจ้าของเจ้าก็จะยินดีกับเจ้าฉันนั้น
5¶ For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.
6เยรูซาเล็ม ข้าพเจ้าตั้งยามไว้บนกำแพงของเจ้า พวกเขาจะไม่เงียบเลยทั้งกลางวันและกลางคืน พวกเจ้าที่ร้องเรียกพระยาห์เวห์ อย่าพัก
6I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD , keep not silence,
7และอย่าให้พระองค์พัก จนกว่าจะทรงตั้งเยรูซาเล็มไว้ และทำให้เธอเป็นที่สรรเสริญบนแผ่นดิน
7And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
8พระยาห์เวห์สาบานโดยอ้างมือขวาของพระองค์ และแขนอันทรงพลังของพระองค์ ว่า “เราจะไม่ให้ธัญพืชของเจ้าเป็นอาหารแก่ศัตรูอีกแน่นอน และคนต่างชาติจะไม่ดื่มเหล้าองุ่นใหม่ที่เจ้าอุตส่าห์ทำมา
8The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:
9แต่ผู้ที่เก็บเกี่ยวจะกินและสรรเสริญพระยาห์เวห์ ผู้ที่เก็บผลจะดื่มในลานสถานศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของเรา”
9But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD ; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.
10จงผ่านไป ผ่านประตูไป! เตรียมทางให้ประชาชน! จงถมขึ้น ถมทางหลวงขึ้น! เก็บหินออก! ชูธงให้ชนชาติต่าง ๆ
10¶ Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
11ดูเถิด พระยาห์เวห์ประกาศไปจนสุดปลายแผ่นดินว่า “จงบอกธิดาศิโยนว่า ‘ดูเถิด ความรอดของเจ้ามาแล้ว! ดูเถิด รางวัลของพระองค์อยู่กับพระองค์ และการตอบแทนของพระองค์อยู่ต่อหน้าพระองค์!’”
11Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
12ผู้คนจะเรียกพวกเขาว่า “ประชาชนบริสุทธิ์ ผู้ที่พระยาห์เวห์ไถ่ไว้” เจ้าจะได้ชื่อว่า “ผู้ที่มีคนแสวงหา เมืองที่ไม่ถูกทอดทิ้ง”
12And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD : and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.
