1И изговори Давид Господу речи ове песме, кад га избави Господ из руку свих непријатеља његових и из руке Саулове;
1And David spoke unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul;
2и рече: Господ је моја Стена и Град мој и Избавитељ мој.
2and he said: The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
3Бог је Стена моја, у Њега ћу се уздати, Штит мој и Рог спасења мог, Заклон мој и Уточиште моје, Спаситељ мој, који ме избавља од силе.
3The God who is my rock, in Him I take refuge; my shield, and my horn of salvation, my high tower, and my refuge; my saviour, Thou savest me from violence.
4Призивам Господа, кога ваља хвалити, и опраштам се непријатеља својих.
4Praised, I cry, is the LORD, and I am saved from mine enemies.
5Јер обузеше ме смртни болови, потоци неваљалих људи уплашише ме.
5For the waves of Death compassed me. The floods of Belial assailed me.
6Болови гробни опколише ме, стегоше ме замке смртне.
6The cords of Sheol surrounded me; the snares of Death confronted me.
7У тескоби својој призвах Господа, и к Богу свом повиках, Он чу из двора свог глас мој, и вика моја дође му до ушију.
7In my distress I called upon the LORD, yea, I called unto my God; and out of His temple He heard my voice, and my cry did enter into His ears.
8Затресе се и поколеба се земља, темељи небесима задрмаше се и померише се, јер се Он разгневи.
8Then the earth did shake and quake, the foundations of heaven did tremble; they were shaken, because He was wroth.
9Подиже се дим из ноздрва Његових и из уста Његових огањ који прождире, живо угљевље одскакаше од Њега.
9Smoke arose up in His nostrils, and fire out of His mouth did devour; coals flamed forth from Him.
10Сави небеса и сиђе; а мрак беше под ногама Његовим.
10He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and thick darkness was under His feet.
11И седе на херувима и полете, и показа се на крилима ветреним.
11And He rode upon a cherub, and did fly; yea, He was seen upon the wings of the wind.
12Од мрака начини око себе шатор, од мрачних вода, облака ваздушних.
12And He made darkness pavilions round about Him, gathering of waters, thick clouds of the skies.
13Од севања пред Њим гораше живо угљевље.
13At the brightness before Him coals of fire flamed forth.
14Загрме с небеса Господ, и Вишњи пусти глас свој.
14The LORD thundered from heaven, and the Most High gave forth His voice.
15Пусти стреле своје, и разметну их; муње, и разасу их.
15And He sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.
16Показаше се дубине морске, и открише се темељи васиљеној од претње Господње, од дихања духа из ноздрва Његових.
16And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were laid bare by the rebuke of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of His nostrils.
17Тада пружи с висине руку и ухвати ме, извуче ме из воде велике.
17He sent from on high, He took me; He drew me out of many waters;
18Избави ме од непријатеља мог силног и од мојих ненавидника, кад беху јачи од мене.
18He delivered me from mine enemy most strong, from them that hated me, for they were too mighty for me.
19Устадоше на ме у дан невоље моје, али ми Господ би потпора.
19They confronted me in the day of my calamity; but the LORD was a stay unto me.
20И изведе ме на пространо место, избави ме, јер сам му мио.
20He brought me forth also into a large place; He delivered me, because He delighted in me.
21Даде ми Господ по правди мојој, по чистоти руку мојих дарива ме.
21The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath He recompensed me.
22Јер се држах путева Господњих, и не одметнух се Бога свог.
22For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
23Него су сви закони Његови преда мном, и заповести Његове не уклањам од себе.
23For all His ordinances were before me; and as for His statutes, I did not depart from them.
24И бих му веран, и чувах се од безакоња свог.
24And I was single-hearted toward Him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.
25Даде ми Господ по правди мојој, по чистоти мојој пред очима Његовим.
25Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to my cleanness in His eyes.
26Са светима поступаш свето, с човеком верним верно;
26With the merciful Thou dost show Thyself merciful, with the upright man Thou dost show Thyself upright,
27С чистим чисто поступаш, а с неваљалим насупрот њему.
27With the pure Thou dost show myself pure; and with the crooked Thou dost show Thyself subtle.
28Јер помажеш народу невољном, а на поносите спушташ очи своје и понижаваш их.
28And the afflicted people Thou dost save; but Thine eyes are upon the haughty, that Thou mayest humble them.
29Ти си видело моје, Господе, и Господ просветљује таму моју.
29For Thou art my lamp, O LORD; and the LORD doth lighten my darkness.
30С Тобом разбијам војску, с Богом својим скачем преко зида.
30For by Thee I run upon a troop; by my God do I scale a wall.
31Пут је Божји веран, реч Господња чиста. Он је штит свима који се уздају у Њ.
31As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried; He is a shield unto all them that take refuge in Him.
32Јер ко је Бог осим Господа? И ко је стена осим Бога нашег?
32For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a Rock, save our God?
33Бог је крепост моја и сила моја, и чини да ми је пут без мане.
33The God who is my strong fortress, and who letteth my way go forth straight;
34Даје ми ноге као у јелена, и на висине моје ставља ме.
34Who maketh my feet like hinds', and setteth me upon my high places;
35Учи руке моје боју, те ломе лук бронзани мишице моје.
35Who traineth my hands for war, so that mine arms do bend a bow of brass.
36Ти ми дајеш штит спасења свог, и милост твоја чини ме велика.
36Thou hast also given me Thy shield of salvation; and Thy condescension hath made me great.
37Шириш кораке моје пода мном, те се не омичу глежњи моји.
37Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, and my feet have not slipped.
38Терам непријатеље своје, и потирем их, и не враћам се докле их не истребим.
38I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; neither did I turn back till they were consumed.
39И истребљујем их, и обарам их да не могу устати, него падају под ноге моје.
39And I have consumed them, and smitten them through, that they cannot arise; yea, they are fallen under my feet.
40Јер ме Ти опасујеш снагом за бој; који устану на ме, обараш их пода ме.
40For Thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle; Thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
41Непријатеља мојих плећи Ти ми обраћаш, и потирем ненавиднике своје.
41Thou hast also made mine enemies turn their backs unto me; yea, them that hate me, that I might cut them off.
42Обзиру се, али нема помагача; вичу ка Господу, али их не слуша.
42They looked, but there was none to save; even unto the LORD, but He answered them not.
43Сатирем их као прах земаљски, као блато по улицама газим их и размећем.
43Then did I beat them small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the streets, and did tread them down.
44Ти ме избављаш од буне народа мог, чуваш ме да сам глава народима; народ ког не познавах служи ми.
44Thou also hast delivered me from the contentions of my people; Thou hast kept me to be the head of the nations; a people whom I have not known serve me.
45Туђини ласкају ми, чујући покоравају ми се.
45The sons of the stranger dwindle away before me; as soon as they hear of me, they obey me.
46Туђини бледе, дрхћу у градовима својим.
46The sons of the stranger fade away, and come halting out of their close places.
47Жив је Господ, и да је благословена Стена моја. Да се узвиси Бог, Стена спасења мог.
47The LORD liveth, and blessed be my Rock; and exalted be the God, my Rock of salvation;
48Бог, који ми даје освету, и покорава ми народе,
48Even the God that executeth vengeance for me, and bringeth down peoples under me,
49Који ме изводи из непријатеља мојих, и подиже ме над оне који устају на ме, и од човека жестоког избавља ме.
49And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies; yea, Thou liftest me up above them that rise up against me; Thou deliverest me from the violent man.
50Тога ради хвалим Те, Господе, по народима, и појем имену твом,
50Therefore I will give thanks unto Thee, O LORD, among the nations, and will sing praises unto Thy name.
51Који славно избављаш цара свог, и чиниш милост помазанику свом Давиду и семену његовом довека.
51A tower of salvation is He to His king; and showeth mercy to His anointed, to David and to his seed, for evermore.
