1ดาวิดขับร้องบทเพลงนี้ถวายพระยาห์เวห์ในวันที่พระยาห์เวห์ทรงช่วยท่านให้พ้นจากมือศัตรูทั้งหมดและจากมือซาอูล
1And David spoke unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul;
2ดาวิดกล่าวว่า “พระยาห์เวห์ทรงเป็นศิลาของข้า เป็นป้อมปราการของข้า และเป็นผู้ช่วยข้าให้พ้นภัย
2and he said: The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
3พระเจ้าทรงเป็นศิลาที่ข้าลี้ภัย เป็นโล่และเขาสัตว์แห่งความรอดของข้า เป็นหอคอยสูงและที่ลี้ภัยของข้า พระองค์ทรงเป็นพระผู้ช่วยให้รอด ทรงช่วยข้าจากความรุนแรง
3The God who is my rock, in Him I take refuge; my shield, and my horn of salvation, my high tower, and my refuge; my saviour, Thou savest me from violence.
4ข้าร้องเรียกพระยาห์เวห์ผู้สมควรรับการสรรเสริญ แล้วข้าก็รอดพ้นจากศัตรู
4Praised, I cry, is the LORD, and I am saved from mine enemies.
5คลื่นแห่งความตายล้อมข้าไว้ กระแสแห่งความอธรรมทำให้ข้าหวาดกลัว
5For the waves of Death compassed me. The floods of Belial assailed me.
6เชือกแห่งเชโอลพันรอบตัวข้า กับดักแห่งความตายจับข้าไว้
6The cords of Sheol surrounded me; the snares of Death confronted me.
7ในความทุกข์ยาก ข้าร้องเรียกพระยาห์เวห์ ข้าร้องทูลต่อพระเจ้าของข้า จากที่ประทับของพระองค์ พระองค์ทรงได้ยินเสียงข้า เสียงร้องของข้าไปถึงพระกรรณ
7In my distress I called upon the LORD, yea, I called unto my God; and out of His temple He heard my voice, and my cry did enter into His ears.
8แผ่นดินสั่นสะเทือน รากฐานสวรรค์ไหวหวั่น เพราะพระองค์ทรงกริ้ว
8Then the earth did shake and quake, the foundations of heaven did tremble; they were shaken, because He was wroth.
9ควันพลุ่งจากพระนาสิก ไฟเผาผลาญพุ่งจากพระโอษฐ์ ถ่านติดไฟลุกโชนเพราะไฟนั้น
9Smoke arose up in His nostrils, and fire out of His mouth did devour; coals flamed forth from Him.
10พระองค์ทรงโน้มท้องฟ้าแล้วลงมา ใต้พระบาทมีความมืดทึบ
10He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and thick darkness was under His feet.
11พระองค์ทรงขี่เครูบแล้วเหาะไป ปรากฏพระองค์บนปีกแห่งสายลม
11And He rode upon a cherub, and did fly; yea, He was seen upon the wings of the wind.
12พระองค์ทรงให้ความมืดเป็นที่กำบังรอบพระองค์ พร้อมมวลน้ำและเมฆหนาทึบบนฟ้า
12And He made darkness pavilions round about Him, gathering of waters, thick clouds of the skies.
13จากแสงสว่างเบื้องพระพักตร์ ถ่านไฟก็ลุกโชน
13At the brightness before Him coals of fire flamed forth.
14พระยาห์เวห์ทรงส่งเสียงฟ้าร้องจากสวรรค์ องค์ผู้สูงสุดเปล่งพระสุรเสียง
14The LORD thundered from heaven, and the Most High gave forth His voice.
15พระองค์ทรงยิงลูกธนูให้พวกเขากระจัดกระจาย ทรงส่งสายฟ้าทำให้พวกเขาสับสน
15And He sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.
16ร่องน้ำในทะเลปรากฏขึ้น รากฐานโลกถูกเปิดเผยเมื่อพระยาห์เวห์ทรงตำหนิ ด้วยลมแรงจากลมหายใจทางพระนาสิก
16And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were laid bare by the rebuke of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of His nostrils.
17พระองค์ทรงเอื้อมจากเบื้องบนมารับข้า ทรงดึงข้าขึ้นจากน้ำมากมาย
17He sent from on high, He took me; He drew me out of many waters;
18ทรงช่วยข้าจากศัตรูที่แข็งแกร่ง จากคนที่เกลียดข้า เพราะพวกเขามีกำลังเหนือข้า
18He delivered me from mine enemy most strong, from them that hated me, for they were too mighty for me.
19พวกเขาจู่โจมข้าในวันแห่งภัยพิบัติ แต่พระยาห์เวห์ทรงค้ำจุนข้า
19They confronted me in the day of my calamity; but the LORD was a stay unto me.
20พระองค์ทรงนำข้าออกสู่ที่กว้าง ทรงช่วยข้า เพราะพระองค์ทรงพอพระทัยข้า
20He brought me forth also into a large place; He delivered me, because He delighted in me.
21พระยาห์เวห์ทรงตอบแทนข้าตามความชอบธรรม ทรงตอบแทนข้าตามความสะอาดของมือข้า
21The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath He recompensed me.
22เพราะข้ารักษาทางของพระยาห์เวห์ ไม่ได้ละทิ้งพระเจ้าของข้าอย่างชั่วร้าย
22For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
23พระบัญญัติทั้งหมดของพระองค์อยู่ต่อหน้าข้า ข้าไม่หันจากกฎเกณฑ์ของพระองค์
23For all His ordinances were before me; and as for His statutes, I did not depart from them.
24ข้าประพฤติอย่างไร้ตำหนิต่อพระองค์ ข้ารักษาตนให้พ้นจากความผิดของข้า
24And I was single-hearted toward Him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.
25พระยาห์เวห์จึงทรงตอบแทนข้าตามความชอบธรรม ตามความสะอาดของข้าในสายพระเนตร
25Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to my cleanness in His eyes.
26ต่อผู้มีเมตตา พระองค์ทรงแสดงความเมตตา ต่อผู้ไร้ตำหนิ พระองค์ทรงแสดงความไร้ตำหนิ
26With the merciful Thou dost show Thyself merciful, with the upright man Thou dost show Thyself upright,
27ต่อผู้บริสุทธิ์ พระองค์ทรงแสดงความบริสุทธิ์ ต่อผู้คดโกง พระองค์ทรงรู้ทันเล่ห์เหลี่ยม
27With the pure Thou dost show myself pure; and with the crooked Thou dost show Thyself subtle.
28พระองค์ทรงช่วยคนทุกข์ยาก แต่ทอดพระเนตรคนเย่อหยิ่งเพื่อกดเขาลง
28And the afflicted people Thou dost save; but Thine eyes are upon the haughty, that Thou mayest humble them.
29พระยาห์เวห์ พระองค์ทรงเป็นประทีปของข้า พระยาห์เวห์ทรงทำให้ความมืดของข้าสว่างขึ้น
29For Thou art my lamp, O LORD; and the LORD doth lighten my darkness.
30ด้วยกำลังจากพระองค์ ข้าวิ่งเข้าชนกองทหาร ด้วยพระเจ้าของข้า ข้ากระโดดข้ามกำแพง
30For by Thee I run upon a troop; by my God do I scale a wall.
31ทางของพระเจ้าสมบูรณ์พร้อม พระดำรัสของพระยาห์เวห์ผ่านการพิสูจน์แล้ว พระองค์ทรงเป็นโล่ของทุกคนที่ลี้ภัยในพระองค์
31As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried; He is a shield unto all them that take refuge in Him.
32ใครเป็นพระเจ้านอกจากพระยาห์เวห์? ใครเป็นศิลานอกจากพระเจ้าของเรา?
32For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a Rock, save our God?
33พระเจ้าทรงเป็นป้อมปราการอันแข็งแกร่งของข้า พระองค์ทรงทำให้ทางของข้าสมบูรณ์
33The God who is my strong fortress, and who letteth my way go forth straight;
34พระองค์ทรงทำให้เท้าของเขาเหมือนเท้ากวางตัวเมีย และทรงตั้งข้าไว้บนที่สูงของข้า
34Who maketh my feet like hinds', and setteth me upon my high places;
35พระองค์ทรงฝึกมือข้าให้รู้จักการรบ จนแขนข้าโก่งคันธนูทองสัมฤทธิ์ได้
35Who traineth my hands for war, so that mine arms do bend a bow of brass.
36พระองค์ประทานโล่แห่งความรอดให้ข้า ความอ่อนโยนของพระองค์ทำให้ข้ายิ่งใหญ่
36Thou hast also given me Thy shield of salvation; and Thy condescension hath made me great.
37พระองค์ทรงขยายทางใต้เท้าข้า เท้าของข้าจึงไม่ลื่นไถล
37Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, and my feet have not slipped.
38ข้าไล่ตามศัตรูและทำลายพวกเขา ไม่หันกลับจนกว่าจะกำจัดหมด
38I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; neither did I turn back till they were consumed.
39ข้ากำจัดพวกเขา แทงพวกเขาทะลุ จนลุกขึ้นไม่ได้ พวกเขาล้มอยู่ใต้เท้าข้า
39And I have consumed them, and smitten them through, that they cannot arise; yea, they are fallen under my feet.
40พระองค์ทรงให้ข้ามีกำลังสำหรับสงคราม ทรงทำให้คนที่ลุกขึ้นสู้ข้าสยบใต้ข้า
40For Thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle; Thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.
41พระองค์ทรงให้ศัตรูหันหลังหนีข้า เพื่อข้าจะกำจัดคนที่เกลียดข้า
41Thou hast also made mine enemies turn their backs unto me; yea, them that hate me, that I might cut them off.
42พวกเขามองหาผู้ช่วย แต่ไม่มีใคร แม้ร้องเรียกพระยาห์เวห์ พระองค์ก็ไม่ตอบ
42They looked, but there was none to save; even unto the LORD, but He answered them not.
43ข้าบดพวกเขาจนละเอียดเหมือนฝุ่นดิน เหยียบย่ำเหมือนโคลนบนถนน แล้วกวาดกระจายไป
43Then did I beat them small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the streets, and did tread them down.
44พระองค์ทรงช่วยข้าจากการวิวาทของประชาชนของข้า ทรงรักษาข้าไว้เป็นผู้นำเหนือชนชาติต่าง ๆ คนที่ข้าไม่เคยรู้จักจะมารับใช้ข้า
44Thou also hast delivered me from the contentions of my people; Thou hast kept me to be the head of the nations; a people whom I have not known serve me.
45คนต่างชาติจะยอมจำนนต่อข้า พอได้ยินเรื่องข้าก็เชื่อฟัง
45The sons of the stranger dwindle away before me; as soon as they hear of me, they obey me.
46คนต่างชาติจะอ่อนกำลังลง และออกจากที่มั่นอย่างตัวสั่น
46The sons of the stranger fade away, and come halting out of their close places.
47พระยาห์เวห์ทรงพระชนม์อยู่! ขอให้ศิลาของข้าได้รับการสรรเสริญ! ขอพระเจ้าผู้เป็นศิลาแห่งความรอดของข้าได้รับการยกย่อง
47The LORD liveth, and blessed be my Rock; and exalted be the God, my Rock of salvation;
48พระเจ้าผู้ทรงแก้แค้นให้ข้า ผู้ทรงทำให้ชนชาติต่าง ๆ สยบใต้ข้า
48Even the God that executeth vengeance for me, and bringeth down peoples under me,
49ผู้ทรงพาข้าพ้นจากศัตรู พระองค์ทรงยกข้าให้สูงเหนือผู้ที่ลุกขึ้นสู้ข้า ทรงช่วยข้าจากคนใช้ความรุนแรง
49And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies; yea, Thou liftest me up above them that rise up against me; Thou deliverest me from the violent man.
50ดังนั้น พระยาห์เวห์ ข้าจะขอบพระคุณพระองค์ท่ามกลางชนชาติต่าง ๆ และร้องเพลงสรรเสริญพระนาม
50Therefore I will give thanks unto Thee, O LORD, among the nations, and will sing praises unto Thy name.
51พระองค์ประทานการช่วยกู้อันยิ่งใหญ่แก่กษัตริย์ของพระองค์ และทรงแสดงความเมตตาต่อผู้ที่ทรงเจิมไว้ ต่อดาวิดและเชื้อสายของเขาตลอดไป”
51A tower of salvation is He to His king; and showeth mercy to His anointed, to David and to his seed, for evermore.
