1Ouve, SENHOR, e responde-me, pois sou pobre e necessitado.
1A Prayer of David. Incline Thine ear, O LORD, and answer me; for I am poor and needy.
2Preserva a minha alma, pois sou piedoso. Tu, meu Deus, salva o teu servo que confia em ti.
2Keep my soul, for I am godly; O Thou my God, save Thy servant that trusteth in Thee.
3Tem misericórdia de mim, Senhor, pois clamo a ti o dia todo.
3Be gracious unto me, O Lord; for unto Thee do I cry all the day.
4Traz alegria à alma do teu servo, pois a ti, Senhor, elevo a minha alma.
4Rejoice the soul of Thy servant; for unto Thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
5Pois tu, Senhor, és bom e pronto a perdoar, abundante em amor leal para com todos os que te invocam.
5For Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to pardon, and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon Thee.
6Ouve, SENHOR, a minha oração. Atende à voz das minhas súplicas.
6Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend unto the voice of my supplications.
7No dia da minha angústia clamarei a ti, pois tu me responderás.
7In the day of my trouble I call upon Thee; for Thou wilt answer me.
8Não há ninguém como tu entre os deuses, Senhor, nem há obras como as tuas obras.
8There is none like unto Thee among the gods, O Lord, and there are no works like Thine.
9Todas as nações que fizeste virão e adorarão diante de ti, Senhor. Elas glorificarão o teu nome.
9All nations whom Thou hast made shall come and prostrate themselves before Thee, O Lord; and they shall glorify Thy name.
10Pois tu és grande e fazes maravilhas. Só tu és Deus.
10For Thou art great, and doest wondrous things; Thou art God alone.
11Ensina-me o teu caminho, SENHOR. Andarei na tua verdade. Torna o meu coração indiviso para temer o teu nome.
11Teach me, O LORD, Thy way, that I may walk in Thy truth; make one my heart to fear Thy name.
12Eu te louvarei, Senhor meu Deus, de todo o meu coração. Glorificarei o teu nome para sempre.
12I will thank Thee, O Lord my God, with my whole heart; and I will glorify Thy name for evermore.
13Pois grande é o teu amor leal para comigo. Tu livraste a minha alma do mais profundo Seol.
13For great is Thy mercy toward me; and Thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest nether-world.
14Ó Deus, os orgulhosos se levantaram contra mim. Um bando de homens violentos buscou a minha alma, e não têm consideração por ti diante deles.
14O God, the proud are risen up against me, and the company of violent men have sought after my soul, and have not set Thee before them.
15Mas tu, Senhor, és um Deus misericordioso e compassivo, tardio em irar-se e abundante em amor leal e verdade.
15But Thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
16Volta-te para mim e tem misericórdia de mim! Dá a tua força ao teu servo. Salva o filho da tua serva.
16O turn unto me, and be gracious unto me; give Thy strength unto Thy servant, and save the son of Thy handmaid.
17Mostra-me um sinal da tua bondade, para que aqueles que me odeiam o vejam e sejam envergonhados, porque tu, SENHOR, me ajudaste e me consolaste.
17Work in my behalf a sign for good; that they that hate me may see it, and be put to shame, because Thou, LORD, hast helped me, and comforted me.
