1Louvem o SENHOR! Louvem o nome do SENHOR! Louvem-no, vocês, servos do SENHOR,
1Hallelujah. Praise ye the name of the LORD; give praise, O ye servants of the LORD,
2vocês que estão na casa do SENHOR, nos átrios da casa do nosso Deus.
2Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God.
3Louvem o SENHOR, pois o SENHOR é bom. Cantem louvores ao seu nome, pois isso é agradável.
3Praise ye the LORD, for the LORD is good; sing praises unto His name, for it is pleasant.
4Pois o SENHOR escolheu Jacó para si mesmo, Israel para sua própria possessão.
4For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto Himself, and Israel for His own treasure.
5Pois eu sei que o SENHOR é grande, que o nosso Senhor está acima de todos os deuses.
5For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.
6Tudo o que agradou ao SENHOR, ele fez, nos céus e na terra, nos mares e em todas as profundezas.
6Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that hath He done, in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps;
7Ele faz as nuvens subirem desde os confins da terra. Ele faz relâmpagos com a chuva. Ele tira o vento dos seus tesouros.
7Who causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; He maketh lightnings for the rain; He bringeth forth the wind out of His treasuries.
8Ele feriu os primogênitos do Egito, tanto de homens quanto de animais.
8Who smote the first-born of Egypt, both of man and beast.
9Ele enviou sinais e maravilhas em seu meio, ó Egito, contra o Faraó e contra todos os seus servos.
9He sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
10Ele feriu muitas nações, e matou reis poderosos—
10Who smote many nations, and slew mighty kings:
11Seom, rei dos amorreus, Ogue, rei de Basã, e todos os reinos de Canaã—
11Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan;
12e deu a terra deles como herança, uma herança para Israel, seu povo.
12And gave their land for a heritage, a heritage unto Israel His people.
13O teu nome, SENHOR, dura para sempre; o teu renome, SENHOR, por todas as gerações.
13O LORD, Thy name endureth for ever; thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.
14Pois o SENHOR julgará o seu povo e terá compaixão dos seus servos.
14For the LORD will judge His people, and repent Himself for His servants.
15Os ídolos das nações são prata e ouro, obra das mãos dos homens.
15The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
16Têm boca, mas não podem falar. Têm olhos, mas não podem ver.
16They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;
17Têm ouvidos, mas não podem ouvir, nem há fôlego algum em suas bocas.
17They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.
18Aqueles que os fazem serão como eles, sim, todos os que neles confiam.
18They that make them shall be like unto them; yea, every one that trusteth in them.
19Casa de Israel, louve o SENHOR! Casa de Arão, louve o SENHOR!
19O house of Israel, bless ye the LORD; O house of Aaron, bless ye the LORD;
20Casa de Levi, louve o SENHOR! Vocês que temem o SENHOR, louvem o SENHOR!
20O house of Levi, bless ye the LORD; ye that fear the LORD, bless ye the LORD.
21Bendito seja o SENHOR desde Sião, aquele que habita em Jerusalém. Louvem o SENHOR!
21Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, who dwelleth at Jerusalem. Hallelujah.
