1Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear, break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail; for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
1“หญิงหมันผู้ไม่เคยคลอดลูก จงร้องเพลง! ผู้ไม่เคยเจ็บครรภ์ จงเปล่งเสียงร้องเพลงและร้องตะโกน! เพราะลูกของหญิงที่ถูกทอดทิ้งจะมีมากกว่าลูกของหญิงที่มีสามี” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว
2Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thy habitations, spare not; lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes.
2“จงขยายพื้นที่เต็นท์ของเจ้า ให้พวกเขาขึงผืนผ้าที่อยู่อาศัยของเจ้าออก อย่ายั้งมือ จงต่อเชือกให้ยาว และตอกหมุดให้มั่นคง
3For thou shalt spread abroad on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall possess the nations, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
3เพราะเจ้าจะขยายออกไปทั้งขวาและซ้าย ลูกหลานของเจ้าจะครอบครองชนชาติต่าง ๆ และตั้งถิ่นฐานในเมืองร้าง
4Fear not, for thou shalt not be ashamed. Neither be thou confounded, for thou shalt not be put to shame; for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and the reproach of thy widowhood shalt thou remember no more.
4“อย่ากลัว เพราะเจ้าจะไม่อับอาย อย่าหวั่นใจ เพราะเจ้าจะไม่ผิดหวัง เพราะเจ้าจะลืมความอับอายในวัยสาว จะไม่จดจำความอดสูของการเป็นม่ายอีก
5For thy Maker is thy husband, the LORD of hosts is His name; and the Holy One of Israel is thy Redeemer, the God of the whole earth shall He be called.
5เพราะผู้สร้างเจ้าเป็นสามีของเจ้า ผู้มีพระนามว่าพระยาห์เวห์แห่งกองทัพ พระผู้บริสุทธิ์แห่งอิสราเอลเป็นผู้ไถ่ของเจ้า พระองค์จะได้ชื่อว่าพระเจ้าแห่งแผ่นดินทั้งหมด
6For the LORD hath called thee as a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit; and a wife of youth, can she be rejected? saith thy God.
6เพราะพระยาห์เวห์เรียกเจ้าเหมือนเรียกภรรยาที่ถูกทอดทิ้งและช้ำใจ เหมือนภรรยาที่แต่งงานกันตั้งแต่วัยสาวแล้วถูกไล่ไป” พระเจ้าของเจ้ากล่าว
7For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great compassion will I gather thee.
7“เราทอดทิ้งเจ้าเพียงชั่วขณะ แต่เราจะรวบรวมเจ้ากลับมาด้วยความเมตตาอย่างยิ่ง
8In a little wrath I hid My face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have compassion on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.
8ด้วยความโกรธท่วมท้น เราซ่อนหน้าจากเจ้าชั่วขณะ แต่เราจะเมตตาเจ้าด้วยความรักมั่นคงตลอดกาล” พระยาห์เวห์ผู้ไถ่ของเจ้ากล่าว
9For this is as the waters of Noah unto Me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth, so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.
9“สำหรับเรา เรื่องนี้เหมือนน้ำในสมัยโนอาห์ เราสาบานว่าน้ำในสมัยโนอาห์จะไม่ท่วมแผ่นดินอีกฉันใด เราก็สาบานว่าจะไม่โกรธหรือตำหนิเจ้าฉันนั้น
10For the mountains may depart, and the hills be removed; but My kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall My covenant of peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath compassion on thee.
10แม้ภูเขาจะเคลื่อนไป และเนินเขาจะถูกย้ายออก แต่ความรักมั่นคงของเราจะไม่จากเจ้าไป และพันธสัญญาแห่งสันติสุขของเราจะไม่ถูกย้ายออก” พระยาห์เวห์ผู้เมตตาเจ้ากล่าว
11O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will set thy stones in fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.
11“เจ้าผู้ทุกข์ยาก ถูกพายุซัด และไม่ได้รับการปลอบโยน ดูเถิด เราจะวางหินของเจ้าให้มีสีสวยงาม และวางรากฐานของเจ้าด้วยไพลิน
12And I will make thy pinnacles of rubies, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy border of precious stones.
12เราจะทำยอดสูงของเจ้าด้วยทับทิม ทำประตูด้วยอัญมณีแวววาว และทำกำแพงทั้งหมดด้วยหินมีค่า
13And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
13ลูกทุกคนของเจ้าจะได้รับการสอนจากพระยาห์เวห์ และลูก ๆ ของเจ้าจะมีสันติสุขอย่างยิ่ง
14In righteousness shalt thou be established; be thou far from oppression, for thou shalt not fear, and from ruin, for it shall not come near thee.
14เจ้าจะตั้งมั่นในความเที่ยงธรรม จะอยู่ไกลจากการกดขี่ เพราะเจ้าจะไม่กลัว และอยู่ไกลจากความหวาดผวา เพราะมันจะไม่เข้ามาใกล้เจ้า
15Behold, they may gather together, but not by Me; whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall because of thee.
15ดูเถิด พวกเขาอาจรวมตัวกัน แต่ไม่ได้มาจากเรา ใครก็ตามที่รวมตัวกันต่อสู้เจ้า จะล้มลงเพราะเจ้า
16Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the fire of coals, and bringeth forth a weapon for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
16“ดูเถิด เราสร้างช่างเหล็กผู้เป่าถ่านให้เป็นไฟ และตีอาวุธสำหรับงานของเขา และเราสร้างผู้ทำลายให้ทำลาย
17No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their due reward from Me, saith the LORD.
17อาวุธใดที่สร้างขึ้นมาต่อสู้เจ้าจะไม่สำเร็จ และทุกลิ้นที่ลุกขึ้นกล่าวหาเจ้าในศาล เจ้าจะตัดสินว่ามีความผิด นี่คือมรดกของผู้รับใช้พระยาห์เวห์ และความเที่ยงธรรมของพวกเขามาจากเรา” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว
