1Thus saith the LORD: The heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool; where is the house that ye may build unto Me? And where is the place that may be My resting-place?
1พระยาห์เวห์กล่าวว่า “ฟ้าสวรรค์เป็นบัลลังก์ของเรา และแผ่นดินเป็นที่วางเท้าของเรา พวกเจ้าจะสร้างบ้านแบบไหนให้เรา? เราจะพักที่ไหน?
2For all these things hath My hand made, and so all these things came to be, saith the LORD; but on this man will I look, even on him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at My word.
2เพราะมือของเราสร้างสิ่งทั้งหมดนี้ สิ่งทั้งหมดนี้จึงเกิดขึ้น” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “แต่เราจะมองมายังคนเช่นนี้ คือผู้ยากจนและมีจิตใจสำนึกผิด ผู้สั่นกลัวต่อคำของเรา
3He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he broke a dog's neck; he that offereth a meal-offering, as if he offered swine's blood; he that maketh a memorial-offering of frankincense, as if he blessed an idol; according as they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations;
3ผู้ฆ่าวัวเป็นเหมือนผู้ฆ่าคน ผู้ถวายลูกแกะเป็นเหมือนผู้หักคอหมา ผู้ถวายเครื่องบูชาเป็นเหมือนผู้ถวายเลือดหมู ผู้เผากำยานเป็นเหมือนผู้อวยพรรูปเคารพ พวกเขาเลือกทางของตน และใจของพวกเขาชื่นชอบสิ่งน่ารังเกียจของตน
4Even so I will choose their mockings, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spoke, they did not hear, but they did that which was evil in Mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
4เราก็จะเลือกความหลงผิดให้พวกเขา และนำสิ่งที่พวกเขากลัวมาถึงพวกเขา เพราะเมื่อเราเรียก ไม่มีใครตอบ เมื่อเราพูด พวกเขาไม่ฟัง แต่ทำสิ่งที่ชั่วในสายตาเรา และเลือกสิ่งที่เราไม่พอใจ”
5Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at His word: Your brethren that hate you, that cast you out for My name's sake, have said: 'Let the LORD be glorified, that we may gaze upon your joy', but they shall be ashamed.
5จงฟังคำของพระยาห์เวห์ พวกเจ้าที่สั่นกลัวต่อคำของพระองค์ “พี่น้องของพวกเจ้าที่เกลียดพวกเจ้า ผู้ขับพวกเจ้าออกเพราะชื่อเรา ได้พูดว่า ‘ให้พระยาห์เวห์ได้รับเกียรติ เพื่อพวกเราจะได้เห็นความยินดีของพวกเจ้า’ แต่คนเหล่านั้นเองจะผิดหวัง
6Hark! an uproar from the city, Hark! it cometh from the temple, Hark! the LORD rendereth recompense to His enemies.
6เสียงอึกทึกจากเมือง เสียงจากพระวิหาร เสียงของพระยาห์เวห์ผู้ตอบแทนศัตรูตามที่ควรได้รับ
7Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man-child.
7“ก่อนเธอเจ็บครรภ์ เธอก็คลอดแล้ว ก่อนความเจ็บปวดมาถึง เธอก็คลอดลูกชาย
8Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Is a land born in one day? Is a nation brought forth at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
8ใครเคยได้ยินเรื่องเช่นนี้? ใครเคยเห็นสิ่งเช่นนี้? แผ่นดินจะเกิดในวันเดียวหรือ? ชนชาติจะเกิดในทันทีหรือ? เพราะทันทีที่ศิโยนเจ็บครรภ์ เธอก็คลอดลูก ๆ ของเธอ
9Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD; Shall I that cause to bring forth shut the womb? saith thy God.
9เราจะนำมาถึงเวลาคลอด แล้วไม่ให้คลอดหรือ?” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “เราผู้ทำให้คลอด จะปิดครรภ์หรือ?” พระเจ้าของเจ้ากล่าว
10Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her; rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her;
10“ทุกคนที่รักเยรูซาเล็ม จงยินดีกับเธอและชื่นบานเพื่อเธอ ทุกคนที่โศกเศร้าเพื่อเธอ จงร่วมชื่นชมยินดีกับเธอ
11That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breast of her consolations; that ye may drink deeply with delight of the abundance of her glory.
11เพื่อพวกเจ้าจะดูดนมและอิ่มจากอกที่ปลอบโยน เพื่อพวกเจ้าจะดื่มอย่างเต็มที่ และชื่นชมความรุ่งโรจน์อันล้นเหลือของเธอ”
12For thus saith the LORD: Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the wealth of the nations like an overflowing stream, and ye shall suck thereof: Ye shall be borne upon the side, and shall be dandled upon the knees.
12เพราะพระยาห์เวห์กล่าวว่า “ดูเถิด เราจะให้สันติสุขไหลไปสู่เธอเหมือนแม่น้ำ และให้ความรุ่งโรจน์ของชนชาติต่าง ๆ ไหลไปเหมือนกระแสน้ำล้นฝั่ง และพวกเจ้าจะได้ดูดนม พวกเจ้าจะถูกอุ้มแนบสะโพกของเธอ และถูกหยอกเล่นบนเข่าของเธอ
13As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
13แม่ปลอบลูกฉันใด เราก็จะปลอบโยนพวกเจ้าฉันนั้น พวกเจ้าจะได้รับการปลอบโยนในเยรูซาเล็ม”
14And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like young grass; and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward His servants, and He will have indignation against His enemies.
14พวกเจ้าจะเห็น และใจจะยินดี กระดูกของพวกเจ้าจะเจริญเหมือนหญ้าอ่อน มือของพระยาห์เวห์จะเป็นที่รู้จักในหมู่ผู้รับใช้พระองค์ และพระองค์จะโกรธเกรี้ยวต่อศัตรู
15For, behold, the LORD will come in fire, and His chariots shall be like the whirlwind; to render His anger with fury, and His rebuke with flames of fire.
15เพราะดูเถิด พระยาห์เวห์จะเสด็จมาพร้อมไฟ และรถศึกของพระองค์จะเหมือนพายุหมุน เพื่อสำแดงความโกรธอย่างรุนแรง และคำตำหนิด้วยเปลวไฟ
16For by fire will the LORD contend, and by His sword with all flesh; and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
16เพราะพระยาห์เวห์จะพิพากษามนุษย์ทั้งปวงด้วยไฟและดาบของพระองค์ ผู้ที่พระยาห์เวห์สังหารจะมีมากมาย
17They that sanctify themselves and purify themselves to go unto the gardens, behind one in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the detestable thing, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.
17พระยาห์เวห์กล่าวว่า “ผู้ที่ทำตัวให้ศักดิ์สิทธิ์และชำระตัวให้บริสุทธิ์เพื่อเข้าไปในสวน ตามคนหนึ่งที่อยู่ตรงกลาง กินเนื้อหมู สิ่งน่ารังเกียจ และหนู พวกเขาจะถึงจุดจบด้วยกัน”
18For I know their works and their thoughts; the time cometh, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and shall see My glory.
18“เพราะเรารู้การกระทำและความคิดของพวกเขา เวลามาถึงแล้วที่เราจะรวบรวมทุกชนชาติและทุกภาษา พวกเขาจะมาและเห็นความรุ่งโรจน์ของเรา
19And I will work a sign among them, and I will send such as escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard My fame, neither have seen My glory; and they shall declare My glory among the nations.
19“เราจะตั้งหมายสำคัญไว้ท่ามกลางพวกเขา และส่งผู้ที่หนีรอดในหมู่พวกเขาไปยังชนชาติต่าง ๆ ไปทารชิช ปูล และลูด ผู้ยิงธนู ไปทูบัลและยาวาน ไปเกาะไกล ๆ ที่ไม่เคยได้ยินชื่อเสียงของเราและไม่เคยเห็นความรุ่งโรจน์ของเรา พวกเขาจะประกาศความรุ่งโรจน์ของเราในหมู่ชนชาติต่าง ๆ
20And they shall bring all your brethren out of all the nations for an offering unto the LORD, upon horses, and in chariots, and in fitters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to My holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring their offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
20พวกเขาจะนำพี่น้องทั้งหมดของพวกเจ้าออกมาจากทุกชนชาติเป็นเครื่องถวายแด่พระยาห์เวห์ โดยม้า รถศึก เกี้ยว ล่อ และอูฐ มาที่ภูเขาศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของเรา คือเยรูซาเล็ม” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “เหมือนชาวอิสราเอลนำเครื่องถวายใส่ภาชนะสะอาดเข้ามาในบ้านของพระยาห์เวห์
21And of them also will I take for the priests and for the Levites, saith the LORD.
21เราจะเลือกบางคนในหมู่พวกเขาให้เป็นปุโรหิตและคนเลวีด้วย” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว
22For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before Me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
22“เพราะฟ้าสวรรค์ใหม่และแผ่นดินใหม่ที่เราจะสร้างจะคงอยู่ต่อหน้าเราฉันใด” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว “ลูกหลานและชื่อของพวกเจ้าก็จะคงอยู่ฉันนั้น
23And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before Me, saith the LORD.
23จากเทศกาลขึ้นเดือนใหม่ครั้งหนึ่งไปถึงเทศกาลขึ้นเดือนใหม่ครั้งถัดไป และจากวันสะบาโตหนึ่งไปถึงวันสะบาโตถัดไป มนุษย์ทั้งปวงจะมากราบไหว้ต่อหน้าเรา” พระยาห์เวห์กล่าว
24And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have rebelled against Me; for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
24“พวกเขาจะออกไปดูศพของคนที่ละเมิดต่อเรา เพราะหนอนของคนเหล่านั้นจะไม่ตาย ไฟของพวกเขาจะไม่ดับ และพวกเขาจะเป็นที่รังเกียจแก่มนุษย์ทั้งปวง”
