1And there shall come forth a shoot out of the stock of Jesse, and a twig shall grow forth out of his roots.
1หน่อหนึ่งจะงอกออกจากตอของเจสซี กิ่งหนึ่งจะเกิดจากรากของเขาและออกผล
2And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.
2พระวิญญาณของพระยาห์เวห์จะอยู่บนเขา วิญญาณแห่งปัญญาและความเข้าใจ วิญญาณแห่งคำแนะนำและพลัง วิญญาณแห่งความรู้และความยำเกรงพระยาห์เวห์
3And his delight shall be in the fear of the LORD; and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither decide after the hearing of his ears;
3เขาจะชื่นชอบความยำเกรงพระยาห์เวห์ เขาจะไม่ตัดสินเพียงจากสิ่งที่ตาเห็น ไม่ชี้ขาดเพียงจากสิ่งที่หูได้ยิน
4But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the land; and he shall smite the land with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
4แต่จะตัดสินคนจนด้วยความเที่ยงธรรม ชี้ขาดอย่างเป็นธรรมให้คนต่ำต้อยในแผ่นดิน จะตีแผ่นดินด้วยตะบองจากปากของเขา ฆ่าคนชั่วด้วยลมหายใจจากริมฝีปาก
5And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
5ความเที่ยงธรรมจะเป็นสายคาดเอวของเขา ความซื่อสัตย์จะเป็นสายคาดเอวของเขา
6And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
6หมาป่าจะอยู่กับลูกแกะ เสือดาวจะนอนกับลูกแพะ ลูกวัว สิงโตหนุ่ม และลูกวัวที่ขุนอ้วนจะอยู่ด้วยกัน เด็กเล็กจะนำพวกมัน
7And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
7แม่วัวและหมีจะกินหญ้า ลูกของพวกมันจะนอนด้วยกัน สิงโตจะกินฟางเหมือนวัว
8And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the basilisk's den.
8เด็กที่ยังกินนมจะเล่นใกล้รูงูเห่า เด็กที่หย่านมแล้วจะวางมือบนรังงูพิษ
9They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
9พวกมันจะไม่ทำร้ายหรือทำลายทั่วภูเขาบริสุทธิ์ของเรา เพราะแผ่นดินจะเต็มไปด้วยความรู้ถึงพระยาห์เวห์ เหมือนน้ำที่ปกคลุมทะเล
10And it shall come to pass in that day, that the root of Jesse, that standeth for an ensign of the peoples, unto him shall the nations seek; and his resting-place shall be glorious.
10ในวันนั้น ชาติต่างๆ จะแสวงหารากของเจสซี ผู้ตั้งอยู่เป็นธงของชนชาติทั้งหลาย ที่พักของเขาจะรุ่งโรจน์
11And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord will set His hand again the second time to recover the remnant of His people, that shall remain from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
11ในวันนั้น พระผู้เป็นเจ้าจะยื่นมืออีกเป็นครั้งที่สอง เพื่อนำประชาชนที่รอดเหลือกลับมาจากอัสซีเรีย อียิปต์ ปัทโรส คูช เอลาม ชินาร์ ฮามัท และเกาะต่างๆ ในทะเล
12And He will set up an ensign for the nations, and will assemble the dispersed of Israel, and gather together the scattered of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
12พระองค์จะยกธงให้ชาติต่างๆ รวบรวมคนอิสราเอลที่ถูกขับไล่ และคนยูดาห์ที่กระจัดกระจายจากสี่มุมแผ่นดิน
13The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and they that harass Judah shall be cut off; Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
13ความอิจฉาของเอฟราอิมจะหมดไป ผู้ที่ข่มเหงยูดาห์จะถูกกำจัด เอฟราอิมจะไม่อิจฉายูดาห์ และยูดาห์จะไม่ข่มเหงเอฟราอิม
14And they shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines on the west; together shall they spoil the children of the east; they shall put forth their hand upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.
14พวกเขาจะโฉบลงบนบ่าของชาวฟีลิสเตียทางตะวันตก ร่วมกันปล้นชาวตะวันออก จะแผ่อำนาจเหนือเอโดมและโมอับ ชาวอัมโมนจะเชื่อฟังพวกเขา
15And the LORD will utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with His scorching wind will He shake His hand over the River, and will smite it into seven streams, and cause men to march over dry-shod.
15พระยาห์เวห์จะทำลายเวิ้งทะเลของอียิปต์จนหมดสิ้น พระองค์จะโบกมือเหนือแม่น้ำพร้อมลมร้อนจัด แยกแม่น้ำเป็นเจ็ดสาย ให้ผู้คนเดินข้ามได้ทั้งที่สวมรองเท้าแตะ
16And there shall be a highway for the remnant of His people, that shall remain from Assyria, like as there was for Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.
16จะมีถนนจากอัสซีเรียสำหรับประชาชนที่รอดเหลือของพระองค์ เหมือนที่เคยมีให้อิสราเอลในวันที่ออกมาจากแผ่นดินอียิปต์
