1These things Jesus spoke, and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said: Father, the hour is come, glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee.
1Се глаголав Ісус, і зняв очі свої на небо, й рече: Отче! прийшла година; прослав Сина Твого, щоб і Син Твій прославив Тебе.
2As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he may give eternal life to all whom thou hast given him.
2Яко ж дав єси Йому власть над усяким тїлом, щоб усїм, що дав єси Йому, дав вічнє життє.
3Now this is eternal life: That they may know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
3Се ж життє вічнє в тому, щоб знали Тебе, єдиного справдешного Бога, та кого післав єси, Ісуса Христа.
4I have glorified thee on the earth; I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
4Я прославив Тебе на землї: дїло кінчав я, що дав єси менї робити.
5And now glorify thou me, O Father, with thyself, with the glory which I had, before the world was, with thee.
5А тепер прослав мене Ти, Отче, у Тебе самого славою, що мав я в Тебе, перш нїж сьвіту бути.
6I have manifested thy name to the men whom thou hast given me out of the world. Thine they were, and to me thou gavest them; and they have kept thy word.
6Обявив я імя Твоє людям, що дав єси менї з сьвіта. Твої були вони, а Ти менї їх дав; і слово Твоє хоронили вони.
7Now they have known, that all things which thou hast given me, are from thee:
7Тепер зрозуміли вони, що, скільки дав єси менї, все від Тебе.
8Because the words which thou gavest me, I have given to them; and they have received them, and have known in very deed that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
8Бо слова, що дав єси менї, дав я їм; і вони прийняли й зрозуміли справдї, що від Тебе прийшов я, і увірували, що Ти мене післав.
9I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them whom thou hast given me: because they are thine:
9Я про них молю, не про сьвіт молю, а про тих, що дав єси менї, бо вони Твої.
10And all my things are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
10І все моє Твоє, і Твоє моє, і я прославив ся в них.
11And now I am not in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name whom thou has given me; that they may be one, as we also are.
11І вже більш я не в сьвітї, а сї в сьвітї, і я до Тебе йду. Отче сьвятий, збережи їх в імя Твоє, тих, котрих дав єси менї, щоб були одно, яко ж ми.
12While I was with them, I kept them in thy name. Those whom thou gavest me have I kept; and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition, that the scripture may be fulfilled.
12Як був я з ними на сьвітї, я беріг їх в імя Твоє; котрих дав єси менї, стеріг я, і нїхто з них не погиб, тільки Син погибельний, щоб писаннє справдилось.
13And now I come to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy filled in themselves.
13Тепер же до Тебе йду, і се глаголю в сьвітї, щоб мали радість мою повну в собі.
14I have given them thy word, and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world; as I also am not of the world.
14Я дав їм слово Твоє, і сьвіт зненавидїв їх, бо вони не з сьвіта, яко ж я не з сьвіта.
15I pray not that thou shouldst take them out of the world, but that thou shouldst keep them from evil.
15Не молю, щоб узяв їх із сьвіта, а щоб зберіг їх од зла.
16They are not of the world, as I also am not of the world.
16Не з сьвіта вони, яко ж я не з сьвіта.
17Sanctify them in truth. Thy word is truth.
17Освяти їх правдою Твоєю; слово Твоє правда.
18As thou hast sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
18Як мене післав єси в сьвіт, і я післав їх у сьвіт.
19And for them do I sanctify myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.
19І за них я посьвячую себе, щоб і вони були осьвячені правдою.
20And not for them only do I pray, but for them also who through their word shall believe in me;
20Не про сих же тільки молю, а також і про тих, що задля слова їх увірують у мене,
21That they all may be one, as thou, Father, in me, and I in thee; that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
21щоб усї одно були: яко ж Ти, Отче, в менї і я в Тобі, щоб і вони в нас одно були, щоб сьвіт увірував, що Ти мене післав єси.
22And the glory which thou hast given me, I have given to them; that they may be one, as we also are one:
22І славу, що дав єси менї, дав я їм, щоб були одно, яко ж ми одно.
23I in them, and thou in me; that they may be made perfect in one: and the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast also loved me.
23Я в них і Ти в менї, щоб були звершені в одно, і щоб зрозумів сьвіт, що Ти мене післав єси і полюбив їх, яко ж мене полюбив єси.
24Father, I will that where I am, they also whom thou hast given me may be with me; that they may see my glory which thou hast given me, because thou hast loved me before the creation of the world.
24Отче, которих дав єси менї, хочу, щоб, де я, і вони були зо мною, щоб видїли славу мою, що дав єси менї; бо полюбив єси мене перш основання сьвіта.
25Just Father, the world hath not known thee; but I have known thee: and these have known that thou hast sent me.
25Отче праведний, і сьвіт Тебе не пізнав, я ж пізнав Тебе, і сї пізнали, що Ти мене післав.
26And I have made known thy name to them, and will make it known; that the love wherewith thou hast loved me, may be in them, and I in them.
26І я обявив їм імя Твоє, і обявляти му, щоб любов, якою любив єси мене, в них була, а я в них.
