1挪亞 的兒子 閃 、 含 、 雅弗 的後代記在下面。洪水以後，他們都生了兒子。
1Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth; and unto them were sons born after the flood.
2雅弗 的兒子是 歌篾 、 瑪各 、 瑪代 、 雅完 、 土巴 、 米設 、 提拉 。
2The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
3歌篾 的兒子是 亞實基拿 、 利法 、 陀迦瑪 。
3And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
4雅完 的兒子是 以利沙 、 他施 、 基提 、 多單 。
4And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
5這些人的後裔將各國的地土、海島分開居住，各隨各的方言、宗族立國。
5Of these were the isles of the nations divided in their lands, every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.
6含 的兒子是 古實 、 麥西 、 弗 、 迦南 。
6And the sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, and Put, and Canaan.
7古實 的兒子是 西巴 、 哈腓拉 、 撒弗他 、 拉瑪 、 撒弗提迦 。 拉瑪 的兒子是 示巴 、 底但 。
7And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabteca; and the sons of Raamah: Sheba, and Dedan.
8古實 又生 寧錄 ，他為世上英雄之首。
8And Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
9他在耶和華面前是個英勇的獵戶，所以俗語說：「像 寧錄 在耶和華面前是個英勇的獵戶。」
9He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; wherefore it is said: 'Like Nimrod a mighty hunter before the LORD.'

10And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
11他從那地出來往 亞述 去，建造 尼尼微 、 利河伯 、 迦拉 ，
11Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and Rehoboth-ir, and Calah,
12和 尼尼微 、 迦拉 中間的 利鮮 ，這就是那大城。
12and Resen between Nineveh and Calah — the same is the great city.
13麥西 生 路低 人、 亞拿米 人、 利哈比 人、 拿弗土希 人、
13And Mizraim begot Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
14帕斯魯細 人、 迦斯路希 人、 迦斐託 人；從 迦斐託 出來的有 非利士 人。
14and Pathrusim, and Casluhim — whence went forth the Philistines — and Caphtorim.
15迦南 生長子 西頓 ，又生 赫
15And Canaan begot Zidon his firstborn, and Heth;
16和 耶布斯 人、 亞摩利 人、 革迦撒 人、
16and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite;
17希未 人、 亞基 人、 西尼 人、
17and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite;
18亞瓦底 人、 洗瑪利 人、 哈馬 人，後來 迦南 的諸族分散了。
18and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite; and afterward were the families of the Canaanite spread abroad.
19迦南 的境界是從 西頓 向 基拉耳 的路上，直到 迦薩 ，又向 所多瑪 、 蛾摩拉 、 押瑪 、 洗扁 的路上，直到 拉沙 。
19And the border of the Canaanite was from Zidon, as thou goest toward Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest toward Sodom and Gomorrah and Admah and Zeboiim, unto Lasha.
20這就是 含 的後裔，各隨他們的宗族、方言，所住的地土、邦國。
20These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, in their nations.
21雅弗 的哥哥 閃 ，是 希伯 子孫之祖，他也生了兒子。
21And unto Shem, the father of all the children of Eber, the elder brother of Japheth, to him also were children born.
22閃 的兒子是 以攔 、 亞述 、 亞法撒 、 路德 、 亞蘭 。
22The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram.
23亞蘭 的兒子是 烏斯 、 戶勒 、 基帖 、 瑪施 。
23And the sons of Aram: Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.
24亞法撒 生 沙拉 ； 沙拉 生 希伯 。
24And Arpachshad begot Shelah; and Shelah begot Eber.
25希伯 生了兩個兒子，一個名叫 法勒 ，因為那時人就分地居住； 法勒 的兄弟名叫 約坍 。
25And unto Eber were born two sons; the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.
26約坍 生 亞摩答 、 沙列 、 哈薩瑪非 、 耶拉 、
26And Joktan begot Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah;
27哈多蘭 、 烏薩 、 德拉 、
27and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah;
28俄巴路 、 亞比瑪利 、 示巴 、
28and Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba;
29阿斐 、 哈腓拉 、 約巴 ，這都是 約坍 的兒子。
29and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab; all these were the sons of Joktan.

30And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest toward Sephar, unto the mountain of the east.
31這就是 閃 的子孫，各隨他們的宗族、方言，所住的地土、邦國。
31These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.
32這些都是 挪亞 三個兒子的宗族，各隨他們的支派立國。洪水以後，他們在地上分為邦國。
32These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations; and of these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.
