1Вот родословие сынов Ноевых: Сима, Хама и Иафета. После потопа родились у них дети.
1Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth; and unto them were sons born after the flood.
2Сыны Иафета: Гомер, Магог, Мадай, Иаван, Елиса, Фувал, Мешех и Фирас.
2The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
3Сыны Гомера: Аскеназ, Рифат и Фогарма.
3And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
4Сыны Иавана: Елиса, Фарсис, Киттим и Доданим.
4And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
5От сих населились острова народов в землях их, каждый по языку своему, по племенам своим, в народах своих.
5Of these were the isles of the nations divided in their lands, every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.
6Сыны Хама: Хуш, Мицраим, Фут и Ханаан.
6And the sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, and Put, and Canaan.
7Сыны Хуша: Сева, Хавила, Савта, Раама и Савтеха. Сыны Раамы: Шева и Дедан.
7And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabteca; and the sons of Raamah: Sheba, and Dedan.
8Хуш родил также Нимрода; сей начал быть силен на земле;
8And Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
9он был сильный зверолов пред Господом Богом, потому и говорится: сильный зверолов, как Нимрод, пред Господом Богом.
9He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; wherefore it is said: 'Like Nimrod a mighty hunter before the LORD.'
10Царство его вначале составляли: Вавилон, Эрех, Аккад и Халне в земле Сеннаар.
10And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
11Из сей земли вышел Ассур и построил Ниневию, Реховоф-ир, Калах
11Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and Rehoboth-ir, and Calah,
12и Ресен между Ниневиею и между Калахом; это город великий.
12and Resen between Nineveh and Calah — the same is the great city.
13От Мицраима произошли Лудим, Анамим, Легавим, Нафтухим,
13And Mizraim begot Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
14Патрусим, Каслухим, откуда вышли Филистимляне, и Кафторим.
14and Pathrusim, and Casluhim — whence went forth the Philistines — and Caphtorim.
15От Ханаана родились: Сидон, первенец его, Хет,
15And Canaan begot Zidon his firstborn, and Heth;
16Иевусей, Аморрей, Гергесей,
16and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite;
17Евей, Аркей, Синей,
17and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite;
18Арвадей, Цемарей и Химафей. Впоследствии племена Ханаанские рассеялись,
18and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite; and afterward were the families of the Canaanite spread abroad.
19и были пределы Хананеев от Сидона к Герару до Газы, отсюда к Содому, Гоморре, Адме и Цевоиму до Лаши.
19And the border of the Canaanite was from Zidon, as thou goest toward Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest toward Sodom and Gomorrah and Admah and Zeboiim, unto Lasha.
20Это сыны Хамовы, по племенам их, по языкам их, в землях их, в народах их.
20These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, in their nations.
21Были дети и у Сима, отца всех сынов Еверовых, старшего брата Иафетова.
21And unto Shem, the father of all the children of Eber, the elder brother of Japheth, to him also were children born.
22Сыны Сима: Елам, Ассур, Арфаксад, Луд, Арам и Каинан.
22The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram.
23Сыны Арама: Уц, Хул, Гефер и Маш.
23And the sons of Aram: Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.
24Арфаксад родил Каинана, Каинан родил Салу, Сала родил Евера.
24And Arpachshad begot Shelah; and Shelah begot Eber.
25У Евера родились два сына; имя одному: Фалек, потому что во дни его земля разделена; имя брату его: Иоктан.
25And unto Eber were born two sons; the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.
26Иоктан родил Алмодада, Шалефа, Хацармавефа, Иераха,
26And Joktan begot Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah;
27Гадорама, Узала, Диклу,
27and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah;
28Овала, Авимаила, Шеву,
28and Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba;
29Офира, Хавилу и Иовава. Все эти сыновья Иоктана.
29and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab; all these were the sons of Joktan.
30Поселения их были от Меши до Сефара, горы восточной.
30And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest toward Sephar, unto the mountain of the east.
31Это сыновья Симовы по племенам их, по языкам их, в землях их, по народам их.
31These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.
32Вот племена сынов Ноевых, по родословию их, в народах их. От них распространились народы на земле после потопа
32These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations; and of these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.
