Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
1Hear my prayer, LORD! Let my cry come to you.
1IEOWA, kom kotin ereki ai kapakap, o ai weriwer en lel o n komui!
2Don’t hide your face from me in the day of my distress. Turn your ear to me. Answer me quickly in the day when I call.
2Kom der kotin karirala jila n ir mo i ni ran en ai apwal; kom kotin kapaike do n ia karo n omui kan; ni ran o, me i likelikwir, kom kotin ma n i ia mada n !
3For my days consume away like smoke. My bones are burned as a torch.
3Pwe ai ran akan kin ta n wei dueta adiniai, o kokon ai kan ro n alar dueta nan kijiniai.
4My heart is blighted like grass, and withered, for I forget to eat my bread.
4Kapedi mo n edier dueta ra, I me i monoke kila ai ma n ama n a.
5By reason of the voice of my groaning, my bones stick to my skin.
5Kokon o uduk ai mo n penaer pweki ai weriwer o ja n eja n .
6I am like a pelican of the wilderness. I have become as an owl of the waste places.
6N ai rajo n pelikan nan jap tan, o rajo n daap nan waja lijelipi n .
7I watch, and have become like a sparrow that is alone on the housetop.
7I kin papad o rajo n manpir kelep amen, me mondi pon oj en im o.
8My enemies reproach me all day. Those who are mad at me use my name as a curse.
8Ai imwintiti kin lalaue ia ja n ni manja n lel ni jautik, o me palian ia, kin kaula kin ia.
9For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mixed my drink with tears,
9Pwe i kin ka n ka n paj dueta prot, o lim ai pil kin doloki pil en maj ai.
10because of your indignation and your wrath; for you have taken me up and thrown me away.
10Pweki omui o n io n o o n io n melel; pwe kom kotin pok ia da, ap kaje ia di.
11My days are like a long shadow. I have withered like grass.
11Ai ran akan ta n wei dueta mota, o i mo n edier dueta ra.
12But you, LORD, will remain forever; your renown endures to all generations.
12A komui Mai n leowa pan kotikoteta kokolata, o kupur omui pan ja n eu kainok lel eu potopoteta.
13You will arise and have mercy on Zion, for it is time to have pity on her. Yes, the set time has come.
13Kom pan kotida o kupurela Jion, pwe anjau leler, mo kom pan kotin mak o n i, a auer leler.
14For your servants take pleasure in her stones, and have pity on her dust.
14Pwe japwilim omui ladu kan kin pok o n takai (en Jion), o re injenjuedeki moan im akan,
15So the nations will fear the LORD’s name, all the kings of the earth your glory.
15O men liki kan pan majak mar en leowa, o Nanmarki en jap akan karoj omui li n an.
16For the LORD has built up Zion. He has appeared in his glory.
16Pwe leowa kotin kauadar Jion. A kotin pwarada ni a li n an.
17He has responded to the prayer of the destitute, and has not despised their prayer.
17A kotin wukedoke do n kapakap en me jamama o, o a jota kotin mamaleki a kapakap.
18This will be written for the generation to come. A people which will be created will praise the LORD,
18Mepukat pan kileledi o n kainok en mur akan; o wei eu, me pan wiaui, pan kapi n a Ieowa.
19for he has looked down from the height of his sanctuary. From heaven, the LORD saw the earth,
19Pwe a kotin irero n ja n mol a jaraui ileile; Ieowa kotin irero n jappa jan nanla n .
20to hear the groans of the prisoner, to free those who are condemned to death,
20Pwen ereki ja n eja n en me jalidi kan, pwen lapwada, me kiledi o n er kamela.
21that men may declare the LORD’s name in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem,
21Pwe mar en Ieowa en lolok jili nan Jion, o a kapi n apa nan Ierujalem.
22when the peoples are gathered together, the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.
22Kainok kan lao pokon pene o wei kan, pwen papa o n Ieowa.
23He weakened my strength along the course. He shortened my days.
23A kotiki ja n er ai kelail pon al o, a kamotemotelar ai ran akan.
24I said, “My God, don’t take me away in the middle of my days. Your years are throughout all generations.
24I potoan o n : Ai Kot, kom der kotikiwei ja n ia ni apali en ai ran akan. Omui par akan kin ja n eu kainok lel eu kokolata.
25Of old, you laid the foundation of the earth. The heavens are the work of your hands.
25Kom kotin kajonedier jappa maj o, o la n pokon me dodok en lim omui.
26They will perish, but you will endure. Yes, all of them will wear out like a garment. You will change them like a cloak, and they will be changed.
26Irail pan jorela, a kom pan kotikot eta. Irail pan mari n ala rajo n tuk en likau eu. Kom pan kotin kawuk ir ala likamata likau eu, irail ap pan wukila.
27But you are the same. Your years will have no end.
27A kom pan deudeuta o anjaun omui rojon jota pan tukedi.
28The children of your servants will continue. Their offspring will be established before you.”
28Nain japwilim omui ladu kan pan mimieta, o kadaudok a pan pwaida re omui.
