Psalms 28

World English Bible
Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
1To you, LORD, I call. My rock, don’t be deaf to me, lest, if you are silent to me, I would become like those who go down into the pit.
1MAI N , ai paipalap, I lao likwir wo n komui, kom der kotin japaimokid, pwe ma re pan japaimokid, i pan duet ir, me pan lokidokila nan por o.
2Hear the voice of my petitions, when I cry to you, when I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place.
2Kom kotin ma n i n il en ai n idi n id, I lau likwir won komui, I lao kapa wo n pa I kat mol omui jaraui.
3Don’t draw me away with the wicked, with the workers of iniquity who speak peace with their neighbors, but mischief is in their hearts.
3Re der kotin kajapoko ia la ia n aki me japu n kan, ia n aki me wia jued, me kin lokaia kajelel o n men impa, ap lamelame jued nan mo n io n arail.
4Give them according to their work, and according to the wickedness of their doings. Give them according to the operation of their hands. Bring back on them what they deserve.
4Kotin depuk o n ir duen ar dodok o duen ar tiak jued; kotiki o n ir duen dodok en pa arail; katini o n ir duen ar wiawia.
5Because they don’t respect the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he will break them down and not build them up.
5Pwe re jota injenoki dodok en Ieowa de wiawia en lim a kan; e me a pan kotin kawe ir ala, a jota kauada.
6Blessed be the LORD, because he has heard the voice of my petitions.
6Kapi n o n Ieowa, pwe a kotin erekier n il en ai n idi n id.
7The LORD is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him.
7Ieowa kel pa i o pere pa i, mo n io n i kin liki i, o jauaja pa i mia. Mo n io n i liki i o i pan danke i ki ai kaul.
8The LORD is their strength. He is a stronghold of salvation to his anointed.
8Ieowa kelel parail; I me manaman o n jauaja japwilim a me keidier.
9Save your people, and bless your inheritance. Be their shepherd also, and bear them up forever.
9Kotin jauaja japwilim omui aramaj omui jojo, o kotin kamana ir o apwali irail ada kokolata!
