Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
Berean Standard Bible
1KOMAIL nai aramaj akan, ro n ai kujoned; komail kapaike do n jalo n omail padak en au ai!
1Give ear, O my people, to my instruction; listen to the words of my mouth.
2I pan ki paja n au ai, pwen padak, o pan kida kajoi en maj o,
2I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the beginning,
3Me kitail ro n adar o ajaer, o jam atail kajoi o n kitail er,
3that we have heard and known and our fathers have relayed to us.
4Pwe kitail ender karirila ja n kadaudok arail, me pan pwarado mur, o kaparokki wau en leowa, o a manaman o a dodok kapuriamui kan.
4We will not hide them from their children, but will declare to the next generation the praises of the LORD and His might, and the wonders He has performed.
5Pwe a kotin kauada men kataman eu ren Iakop, o kotikida kapu n eu ren men Ijrael, me u kotin kakaliki o n jam atail akan, pwe ren ujela n nair jeri kan,
5For He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which He commanded our fathers to teach to their children,
6Pwe di en mur en aja due, o jeri ko, me pan ipwidi; o ni ar kokoda, ren pil kajoi o n nair jeri kan
6that the coming generation would know them— even children yet to be born— to arise and tell their own children
7Pwe irail en kaporoporeki Kot, o ren der monokela en Kot a wiwia kan, o ren kapwaiada a kujoned akan.
7that they should put their confidence in God, not forgetting His works, but keeping His commandments.
8O ren der dueta jam arail akan, me kainok ka n udi o katiwo eu, me mo n io n arail jota te n ete n , o n en arail jota melel on Kot.
8Then they will not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, whose heart was not loyal, whose spirit was not faithful to God.
9Dueta kainok Epraim, me wa tatan mauin, ap purela ja n nan pei.
9The archers of Ephraim turned back on the day of battle.
10Irail jota dadaurata inau en Kot, o re jota men weweideki duen a kujoned akan.
10They failed to keep God’s covenant and refused to live by His law.
11O re monokelar a wiawia kan o a manaman akan, me a kotin kajaljale o n irail er.
11They forgot what He had done, the wonders He had shown them.
12A kotin wiadar manaman akai janjal mon jam arail akan nan Akipten, nan jap Joan.
12He worked wonders before their fathers in the land of Egypt, in the region of Zoan.
13A kotin pala n paja n madau o kotin mueid o n ir, en kotela, o wiadar pil dueta kel takai eu.
13He split the sea and brought them through; He set the waters upright like a wall.
14A kotin kalua kin irail tapik ni ran o, o ni po n umpul en kijiniai.
14He led them with a cloud by day and with a light of fire all night.
15A kotin palan paja n paip nan jap tan o kanim pile kin irail pil toto.
15He split the rocks in the wilderness and gave them drink as abundant as the seas.
16O a kotin kapkapwile wei pilap kai ja n nan paip, pwe ren pwile wei dueta pilap laud akan.
16He brought streams from the stone and made water flow down like rivers.
17Ari jo, re dadaurata ni arail didi o n I, o re kao n io n i me Lapalap o nan jap tan.
17But they continued to sin against Him, rebelling in the desert against the Most High.
18O re kajo n ejon Kot nan mo n io n arail, ni ar ino n io n kan arail ma n a.
18They willfully tested God by demanding the food they craved.
19O re palian Kot ni ar inda: Melel Kot pan kak wiada tepel eu nan jap tan?
19They spoke against God, saying, “Can God really prepare a table in the wilderness?
20Kila n , a poki paip o, pe pil en pwarado o pilap akan pwilepwile wei, a iaduen, a pan kak kida prot o uduk on na aramaj akan?
20When He struck the rock, water gushed out and torrents raged. But can He also give bread or supply His people with meat?”
21Ieowa lao ma n ier mepukat, ap kotin o n io n adar, o kijiniai wiauier ren Iakop, o o n io n lel o n Ijrael,
21Therefore the LORD heard and was filled with wrath; so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and His anger flared against Israel,
22Pweki ar jo kamelele Kot, o jota kaporoporeki a jauaj.
22because they did not believe God or rely on His salvation.
23A ap kotin majani o n tapok en poa kan, o riti n ida wanim o n la n akan.
23Yet He commanded the clouds above and opened the doors of the heavens.
24O kotin kamoredi o n ir mana, pwe ren ma n a, o a kotiki o n ir prot en la n .
24He rained down manna for them to eat; He gave them grain from heaven.
25Irail ka n alar prot en tounla n kan; a kotin kadar o n ir kijin ma n a toto.
25Man ate the bread of angels; He sent them food in abundance.
26A kotin kapwaredar pan la n a n en maj en la n , o ni a manaman a kotin kamokidada an en pali air.
26He stirred the east wind from the heavens and drove the south wind by His might.
27O a kotin kamoredi o n ir uduk dueta pwel par, o manpir dueta pik en oror.
27He rained meat on them like dust, and winged birds like the sand of the sea.
28O a kotin kapup irail di waja karoj, me irail kaujon ia.
28He felled them in the midst of their camp, all around their dwellings.
29Rap ma n ama n a o medilar kaualap, o a kotin mueid o n ir ar ino n .
29So they ate and were well filled, for He gave them what they craved.
30A ni ar kapwaiadar ar ino n , o ni ar ma n ama n a.
30Yet before they had filled their desire, with the food still in their mouths,
31O n io n en Kot ap lel o n irail er, o kamelar ol lapalap re ’rail, o kotin wokiedi mana kap en Ijrael kajampwal akan.
31God’s anger flared against them, and He put to death their strongest and subdued the young men of Israel.
32A re kalaudelar arail dip, o re jota kamelele a manaman akan.
32In spite of all this, they kept on sinning; despite His wonderful works, they did not believe.
33I me a kotin mueidoki ren mela, re jota paida, o ar apwal akan me toto arain ar maur.
33So He ended their days in futility, and their years in sudden terror.
34Ni a kotin kame irail la, rap idok i, o wukila, o rapaki Kot.
34When He slew them, they would seek Him; they repented and searched for God.
35O re tamandar, me Kot kele parail o Kot lapalap ar jaundor.
35And they remembered that God was their Rock, that God Most High was their Redeemer.
36O re lik janjal mau o n i ni au arail o re likam o n i ni lo ar.
36But they deceived Him with their mouths, and lied to Him with their tongues.
37A mo n ion arail jota te n ete n o n i, o re jota dadaurata melel a inau.
37Their hearts were disloyal to Him, and they were unfaithful to His covenant.
38Ari jo, a kotin kala n an o n ir, o kotin makeki o n ir dip arail, o jota kame irail la, o katukiedi a o n io n pan pak toto, o jota o n io n i melel.
38And yet He was compassionate; He forgave their iniquity and did not destroy them. He often restrained His anger and did not unleash His full wrath.
39Pwe a kotin kupura, me irail pali uduk, dueta kijinia n , me pir wei o jolar puredo.
39He remembered that they were but flesh, a passing breeze that does not return.
40Pan pak toto re ka n udi o n i nan jap tan, o kakupur juedi i nan mal.
40How often they disobeyed Him in the wilderness and grieved Him in the desert!
41Irail pur o n anjau karoj kajo n ejo n Kot, o re akapu n i o n me Jaraui ren men Ijrael.
41Again and again they tested God and provoked the Holy One of Israel.
42Re jolar tamanda lim a manaman, me dore ir ala ja n ar imwintiti kan ni ran o.
42They did not remember His power — the day He redeemed them from the adversary,
43Duen a kotin wiadar a manaman akan nan Akipten o a dodok kapuriamui nan Joan.
43when He performed His signs in Egypt and His wonders in the fields of Zoan.
44A kotin kawuki o n nta ar pil akan, rap jolar kak nima ja n ar pilap akan.
44He turned their rivers to blood, and from their streams they could not drink.
45Ni a kotin kapwaredar man jued akan nan pu n arail, me ka n ir ala, o proj akan, me kawe ir ala.
45He sent swarms of flies that devoured them, and frogs that devastated them.
46A kotiki o n muedi ar tuka kan, o ar wantuka o n man jiek.
46He gave their crops to the grasshopper, the fruit of their labor to the locust.
47A kotin kawekilar akel ar wain o tuka kan ki akel tikitik.
47He killed their vines with hailstones and their sycamore-figs with sleet.
48A kotin kamekila ar man akel akan o ar pwin man akan liol.
48He abandoned their cattle to the hail and their livestock to bolts of lightning.
49A kotin o n io n melel o porone wo n ir tounla n jued kai, o mueid o n ir, ren li n ara n ar, o morjued, o kainjenjued.
49He unleashed His fury against them, wrath, indignation, and calamity— a band of destroying angels.
50A kotin kaonopa da n o n io n al apot, o jota dorelar maur arail ja n mela, o kotin mueid o n kilitop ni maur arail.
50He cleared a path for His anger; He did not spare them from death but delivered their lives to the plague.
51A kotin kamelar mejeni karoj nan Akipten, mejeni en ar kelail nan im en Am akan.
51He struck all the firstborn of Egypt, the virility in the tents of Ham.
52A kotin kaluala japwilim a kan dueta pwin jip eu nan jap tan.
52He led out His people like sheep and guided them like a flock in the wilderness.
53A kotin kalua irail ni pu n , pwe ren der majak meakot, a madau kadupaledi ar imwintiti kan.
53He led them safely, so they did not fear, but the sea engulfed their enemies.
54A kotin wa ir ala lel ni irair en jap jaraui, lel nana wet, me lim a pali maun kileledier.
54He brought them to His holy land, to the mountain His right hand had acquired.
55O kotin pakipaki men liki kan mo ’rail, o kotin nek o n ir jap arail, pwen jojoki, o a kotiki o n kainok en Ijrael akan, en kaukaujon nan im arail.
55He drove out nations before them and apportioned their inheritance; He settled the tribes of Israel in their tents.
56A re jo n ejo n ? o kao n io n Kot lapalap, o jota peiki o n i, o jota duki o n a majan akan.
56But they tested and disobeyed God Most High, for they did not keep His decrees.
57O re muei ja n o mamaleki meakaroj, dueta jam arail akan, o re jota te n ete n , dueta kajik katieu luet eu.
57They turned back and were faithless like their fathers, twisted like a faulty bow.
58O re kao n io n i ni ar kaudok pon dol akan, o re kupur juedeki i ki arail dikedik en ani kan.
58They enraged Him with their high places and provoked His jealousy with their idols.
59A Kot lao kotin ma n i mepukat, ap kotin o n io n ada o kajapok ir ala melel.
59On hearing it, God was furious and rejected Israel completely.
60A kotin muei ja n tanpaj a nan Jilo, im pwal o, waja a kotikot ia ren aramaj akan.
60He abandoned the tabernacle of Shiloh, the tent He had pitched among men.
61A kotiki wei japwilim akan nan imate n , o a li n an nan pa en imwintiti kan.
61He delivered His strength to captivity, and His splendor to the hand of the adversary.
62A kotiki wei japwilim a aramaj akan ni kodlaj, o kotin o n io n i japwilim a jojo.
62He surrendered His people to the sword because He was enraged by His heritage.
63Kijiniai ka n ala ar manakap akan, o ar peinekap akan jolar kak papaud.
63Fire consumed His young men, and their maidens were left without wedding songs.
64Arail jamero kan mekilar kodlaj, a jolar li odi kan, me kin maiei.
64His priests fell by the sword, but their widows could not lament.
65Ieowa ap kotin opala waja dueta amen me mairelar, dueta ol komad amen kin n iji n ij ni a ka n wain.
65Then the Lord awoke as from sleep, like a mighty warrior overcome by wine.
66A kotin kaloedier a imwintiti kan o kanamenok ir ala kokolata.
66He beat back His foes; He put them to everlasting shame.
67A kotin kajelar im en Iojep, o jota piladar kainok en Epraim.
67He rejected the tent of Joseph and refused the tribe of Ephraim.
68Pwe a kotin piladar kainok en Iuda, kol Jion, me a koti kupura.
68But He chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion, which He loved.
69O a kotin kauadar tanpaj a im jaraui waja ileile, dueta jappa me pan te n ete n ea kokolata.
69He built His sanctuary like the heights, like the earth He has established forever.
70Ap kotin piladar japwilim a ladu Dawid, o a kotin ale i ja n nan deun jip akan.
70He chose David His servant and took him from the sheepfolds;
71A kotin kalua i ja n ren jip en kadidi kan, pwen kama n a japwilim a kainok en Iakop o a jojo men Ijrael.
71from tending the ewes He brought him to be shepherd of His people Jacob, of Israel His inheritance.
72O a kotin apapwali ir ni tiak en mo n io n melel o pu n , o kakaun irail ada ni koiok en lim a kan.
72So David shepherded them with integrity of heart and guided them with skillful hands.
