Psalms 87
JPS Tanakh (Jewish Publication Society, 1917)
Kralice Bible (1613)
1A Psalm of the sons of Korah; a Song. His foundation is in the holy mountains.
1Synům Chóre, žalm a píseň. Základ svůj na horách svatých.
2The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
2Milujeť Hospodin, totiž brány Sionské, nade všecky příbytky Jákobovy.
3Glorious things are spoken of Thee, O city of God. Selah
3Přeslavnéť jsou to věci, kteréž se o tobě hlásají, ó město Boží. Sélah.
4'I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon as among them that know Me; behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this one was born there.'
4Připomínati budu Egypt a Babylon před svými známými, ano i Filistinské a Tyrské i Mouřeníny, že se tu každý z nich narodil.
5But of Zion it shall be said: 'This man and that was born in her; and the Most High Himself doth establish her.'
5An i o Sionu praveno bude: Ten i onen jest rodem z něho, sám pak Nejvyšší utvrdí jej.
6The LORD shall count in the register of the peoples: 'This one was born there.' Selah
6Sečteť Hospodin při popisu národy, a dí, že tento se tu narodil. Sélah.
7And whether they sing or dance, all my thoughts are in Thee.
7Tou příčinou zpívají s plésáním o tobě všecky moci života mého.
