Tongan Bible, Revised West Version
1A Psalm of the sons of Korah; a Song. His foundation is in the holy mountains.
1Ko hono tuʻunga ʻoku ʻi he ngaahi moʻunga māʻoniʻoni.
2The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
2‌ʻOku ʻofa lahi hake ʻa Sihova ki he ngaahi matapā ʻo Saione, ʻi he ngaahi nofoʻanga kotoa pē ʻo Sēkope.
3Glorious things are spoken of Thee, O city of God. Selah
3‌ʻA e kolo ʻoe ʻOtua, ʻoku talanoa ʻaki ʻae ngaahi meʻa ongoongolelei ʻiate koe. Sila.
4'I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon as among them that know Me; behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this one was born there.'
4“Te u fakahā ʻa Lehapi mo Papilone kiate kinautolu ʻoku ʻiloʻi au: vakai, ko Filisitia, mo Taia, mo ʻItiopea; “naʻe fanauʻi ʻi ai ʻae tangata ni.”
5But of Zion it shall be said: 'This man and that was born in her; and the Most High Himself doth establish her.'
5Pea ʻe lau pehē ki Saione, “Ko e tangata ni mo e tangata na naʻe fanauʻi ʻi ai”: pea ʻe fakatuʻumaʻu ia ʻe he Fungani Māʻolunga.
6The LORD shall count in the register of the peoples: 'This one was born there.' Selah
6‌ʻE lau ʻe Sihova, ʻi heʻene tohi ʻae kakai, “ko e tangata ni naʻe fanauʻi ʻi ai.” Sila.
7And whether they sing or dance, all my thoughts are in Thee.
7‌ʻE ʻi ai fakatouʻosi ʻae kau hiva mo e kau pulotu ʻoe ngaahi meʻa faiva: “ko ʻeku ngaahi matavai kotoa pē ʻoku ʻiate koe.”
