Psalms 126

Tongan Bible, Revised West Version
1A Song of Ascents. When the LORD brought back those that returned to Zion, we were like unto them that dream.
1ʻI he toe liliu ʻe Sihova ʻae pōpula ʻo Saione, naʻa tau tatau mo kinautolu ʻoku misi.
2Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing; then said they among the nations: 'The LORD hath done great things with these.'
2Pea naʻe toki fakapito ʻaki hotau ngutu ʻae kata, mo hotau ʻelelo ʻi he hiva: pea naʻe toki pehē ʻe he hiteni, “Kuo fai ʻe Sihova ʻae ngaahi meʻa lahi maʻanautolu.”
3The LORD hath done great things with us; we are rejoiced.
3Kuo fai ʻe Sihova ʻae ngaahi meʻa lahi maʻatautolu; pea ʻoku tau fiefia ai.
4Turn our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the dry land.
4ʻE Sihova, ke ke toe liliu ʻemau pōpula, ʻo hangē ko e ngaahi vaitafe ʻi he feituʻu tonga.
5They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
5Ko kinautolu ʻoku tūtuuʻi ʻi he loʻimata te nau tuʻusi ʻi he fiefia.
6Though he goeth on his way weeping that beareth the measure of seed, he shall come home with joy, bearing his sheaves.
6Ko ia ʻoku ne ʻalu atu ʻo tangi, pea ʻave ʻae tenga mahuʻinga, te ne toe haʻu ʻi he fiefia, mo ʻomi ʻene ngaahi ū uite fakataha mo ia.
