1A Song of Ascents. When the LORD brought back those that returned to Zion, we were like unto them that dream.
1BOEIPA loh Zion hlangsol te ham mael puei vaengah mang man bangla ka om uh.
2Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing; then said they among the nations: 'The LORD hath done great things with these.'
2Te vaengah mamih ka ah nueihbu neh mamih lai ah tamlung khaw bae. Te dongah namtom taengah, “He he aka saii ham khaw BOEIPA tah khuet pai,” a ti uh.
3The LORD hath done great things with us; we are rejoiced.
3Mamih ham aka saii BOEIPA he a khuet dongah kohoe la ng'om uh.
4Turn our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the dry land.
4BOEIPA aw kaimih thongtla thongla te tuithim kah sokca bangla mael sak lah.
5They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
