Psalms 128
JPS Tanakh (Jewish Publication Society, 1917)
Tongan Bible, Revised West Version
1A Song of Ascents. Happy is every one that feareth the LORD, that walketh in His ways.
1ʻOku monūʻia ʻakinautolu kotoa pē ʻoku manavahē kia Sihova; ʻaia ʻoku ʻaʻeva ʻi hono ngaahi hala.
2When thou eatest the labour of thy hands, happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
2He te ke kai ʻae ngāue ʻa ho nima: te ke monūʻia, pea ʻe hoko ʻae lelei kiate koe.
3Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine, in the innermost parts of thy house; thy children like olive plants, round about thy table.
3ʻE tatau ho uaifi mo e vaine ʻoku faʻa fua ʻi ho veʻe fale: ʻe tatau hoʻo fānau mo e ngaahi vaʻa ʻolive ʻoku kāpui hoʻo keinangaʻanga.
4Behold, surely thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.
4Vakai, ʻe pehē ʻae monūʻia ʻoe tangata ʻaia ʻoku ne manavahē kia Sihova.
5The LORD bless thee out of Zion; and see thou the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life;
5ʻE tāpuaki koe ʻe Sihova mei Saione: pea te ke mamata ki hono lelei ʻo Selūsalema ʻi he ngaahi ʻaho kotoa pē ʻo hoʻo moʻui.
6And see thy children's children. Peace be upon Israel!
6ʻIo, te ke mamata ki he fānau ʻa hoʻo fānau pea mo e melino ʻi ʻIsileli.
