Tongan Bible, Revised West Version
1(92-1) A Psalm, a Song. For the sabbath day. (92-2) It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto Thy name, O Most High;
1ʻOku lelei ke ʻatu ʻae fakafetaʻi kia Sihova, pea ke hiva fakamālō ki ho huafa, ʻE fungani māʻolunga:
2(92-3) To declare Thy lovingkindness in the morning, and Thy faithfulness in the night seasons,
2Ke fakahā atu hoʻo ʻaloʻofa ʻi he pongipongi, mo hoʻo moʻoni ʻi he pō kotoa pē,
3(92-4) With an instrument of ten strings, and with the psaltery; with a solemn sound upon the harp.
3ʻAki ʻae meʻa faiva ʻoku hongofulu hono filo, pea mo e saliteli; ʻaki ʻae leʻo mamafa ʻi he haʻape.
4(92-5) For Thou, LORD, hast made me glad through Thy work; I will exult in the works of Thy hands.
4He kuo ke fakafiefiaʻi au, ʻE Sihova, ʻi hoʻo ngāue: te u vikiviki ʻi he ngaahi ngāue ʻa ho nima.
5(92-6) How great are Thy works, O LORD! Thy thoughts are very deep.
5ʻE Sihova, ʻoku mātuʻaki lahi hoʻo ngaahi ngāue! pea ʻoku loloto ʻaupito hoʻo ngaahi fakakaukau.
6(92-7) A brutish man knoweth not, neither doth a fool understand this.
6ʻOku ʻikai ʻiloʻi ʻe he tangata anga fakamanu; pea ʻoku ʻikai ʻilo eni ʻe he vale.
7(92-8) When the wicked spring up as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they may be destroyed for ever.
7ʻOka tupu ʻae kau angahala ʻo hangē ko e mohuku, pea ʻoka moʻui lelei ʻae kau fai kovi kotoa pē; ko e meʻa ia ke fakaʻauha ai ʻakinautolu ʻo taʻengata:
8(92-9) But Thou, O LORD, art on high for evermore.
8Ka ko koe, ʻE Sihova, ʻoku ke fungani māʻolunga ʻo taʻengata.
9(92-10) For, lo, Thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, Thine enemies shall perish: all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
9Pea vakai, ko ho ngaahi fili, ʻE Sihova, ko e moʻoni ʻe ʻauha ho ngaahi fili; ʻe fakahēʻi ʻae kau fai kovi kotoa pē.
10(92-11) But my horn hast Thou exalted like the horn of the wild-ox; I am anointed with rich oil.
10Ka te ke hiki hake hoku nifo ʻo hangē ko e nifo ʻoe liimi: ʻe tākai ʻaki au ʻae lolo foʻou.
11(92-12) Mine eye also hath gazed on them that lie in wait for me, mine ears have heard my desire of the evil-doers that rise up against me.
11Pea ʻe mamata foki ʻa hoku mata ki hoku ngaahi fili, pea ʻe fanongo ʻa hoku telinga, ki he angahala ʻoku tuʻu hake ʻo angatuʻu kiate au.
12(92-13) The righteous shall flourish like the palm-tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
12ʻE lau maʻuiʻui ʻae angatonu ʻo hangē ko e ʻakau ko e ponga: ʻe tupu ia ʻo hangē ko e sita ʻi Lepanoni.
13(92-14) Planted in the house of the LORD, they shall flourish in the courts of our God.
13Ko kinautolu kuo tō ʻi he fale ʻo Sihova tenau lau maʻuiʻui ʻi he ngaahi lotoʻā ʻo hotau ʻOtua.
14(92-15) They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap and richness;
14ʻE kei tupu ʻae fua ʻiate kinautolu ʻi heʻenau motuʻa; tenau sino lelei mo lau maʻuiʻui.
15(92-16) To declare that the LORD is upright, my Rock, in whom there is no unrighteousness.
15Ke fakahā ʻoku angatonu ʻa Sihova: ko hoku maka ia, pea ʻoku ʻikai ha taʻemāʻoniʻoni ʻiate ia.
