1A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths have I called Thee, O LORD.
1Píseň stupňů. Z hlubokosti volám k tobě, Hospodine.
2Lord, hearken unto my voice; let Thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
2Pane, vyslyš hlas můj, nakloň uší svých k hlasu pokorných proseb mých.
3If Thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?
3Budeš-li nepravosti šetřiti, Hospodine Pane, kdo ostojí?
4For with Thee there is forgiveness, that Thou mayest be feared.
4Ale u tebe jest odpuštění, tak aby uctivost k tobě zachována byla.
5I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in His word do I hope.
5Očekávám na Hospodina, očekává duše má, a ještě očekává na slovo jeho.
6My soul waiteth for the Lord, more than watchmen for the morning; yea, more than watchmen for the morning.
6Duše má čeká Pána, víc než ponocní svitání, kteříž ponocují až do jitra.
7O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is mercy, and with Him is plenteous redemption.
7Očekávejž, Izraeli, na Hospodina; nebo u Hospodina jest milosrdenství, a hojné u něho vykoupení.
8And He will redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
8Onť zajisté vykoupí Izraele ze všech nepravostí jeho.
