1A Psalm of David. I will give Thee thanks with my whole heart, in the presence of the mighty will I sing praises unto Thee.
1Davidův. Oslavovati tě budu, Pane, celým srdcem svým, a před mocnými žalmy tobě zpívati.
2I will bow down toward Thy holy temple, and give thanks unto Thy name for Thy mercy and for Thy truth; for Thou hast magnified Thy word above all Thy name.
2Skláněti se budu k chrámu svatému tvému, a oslavovati jméno tvé pro milosrdenství tvé a pro pravdu tvou; nebo jsi zvelebil nade všecko jméno své a slovo své.
3In the day that I called, Thou didst answer me; Thou didst encourage me in my soul with strength.
3Kteréhokoli dne vzýval jsem tě, vyslyšels mne, a obdařils silou duši mou.
4All the kings of the earth shall give Thee thanks, O LORD, for they have heard the words of Thy mouth.
4Oslavovati tě budou, Hospodine, i všickni králové země, když uslyší řeč úst tvých.
5Yea, they shall sing of the ways of the LORD; for great is the glory of the LORD.
5A zpívati budou o cestách Hospodinových, a že veliká jest sláva Hospodinova,
6For though the LORD be high, yet regardeth He the lowly, and the haughty He knoweth from afar.
6A ač vyvýšený jest Hospodin, však že na poníženého patří, a vysokomyslného zdaleka zná.
7Though I walk in the midst of trouble, Thou quickenest me; Thou stretchest forth Thy hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and Thy right hand doth save me.
7Bych pak chodil u prostřed ssoužení, obživíš mne; proti vzteklosti nepřátel mých vztáhneš ruku svou, a tak vysvobodí mne pravice tvá.
8The LORD will accomplish that which concerneth me; Thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever; forsake not the work of Thine own hands.
8Hospodin dokoná za mne; nebo milosrdenství tvé, Hospodine, na věky, aniž díla rukou svých kdy opustíš.
