1Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
1พระดำรัสของพระยาห์เวห์มาถึงข้าพเจ้าอีกว่า
2'And thou, son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the land of Israel: An end! the end is come upon the four corners of the land.
2“ส่วนเจ้า มนุษย์เอ๋ย พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสแก่แผ่นดินอิสราเอลว่า ‘จุดจบ! จุดจบมาถึงทั่วทั้งสี่มุมแผ่นดินแล้ว
3Now is the end upon thee, and I will send Mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways; and I will bring upon thee all thine abominations.
3บัดนี้จุดจบมาถึงเจ้า เราจะส่งความโกรธมาเหนือเจ้า พิพากษาเจ้าตามทางที่เจ้าเดิน และให้เจ้ารับผลของสิ่งน่ารังเกียจทั้งปวง
4And Mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity; but I will bring thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
4เราจะไม่ปรานีและจะไม่สงสาร เราจะให้เจ้ารับผลตามทางที่เจ้าเดิน และสิ่งน่ารังเกียจของเจ้าจะปรากฏอยู่ท่ามกลางเจ้า แล้วเจ้าจะรู้ว่าเราคือพระยาห์เวห์’
5Thus saith the Lord GOD: An evil, a singular evil, behold, it cometh.
5“พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้ ‘หายนะ! หายนะอย่างที่ไม่เคยมี กำลังมา
6An end is come, the end is come, it awaketh against thee; behold, it cometh.
6จุดจบมาแล้ว จุดจบมาแล้ว มันตื่นขึ้นเพื่อเล่นงานเจ้า ดูสิ มันกำลังมา
7The turn is come unto thee, O inhabitant of the land; the time is come, the day of tumult is near, and not of joyful shouting upon the mountains.
7ชะตากรรมของเจ้ามาถึงแล้ว ผู้อาศัยในแผ่นดินเอ๋ย เวลามาถึงแล้ว วันนั้นใกล้เข้ามา เป็นวันแห่งความโกลาหล ไม่ใช่เสียงโห่ร้องยินดีบนภูเขา
8Now will I shortly pour out My fury upon thee, and spend Mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways; and I will bring upon thee all thine abominations.
8อีกไม่นานเราจะเทความเดือดดาลลงเหนือเจ้า ระบายความโกรธจนหมด แล้วพิพากษาเจ้าตามทางที่เจ้าเดิน เราจะให้เจ้ารับผลของสิ่งน่ารังเกียจทั้งปวง
9And Mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity; I will bring upon thee according to thy ways, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I the LORD do smite.
9เราจะไม่ปรานีและจะไม่สงสาร เราจะลงโทษเจ้าตามทางที่เจ้าเดิน สิ่งน่ารังเกียจของเจ้าจะอยู่ท่ามกลางเจ้า แล้วเจ้าจะรู้ว่าเรา พระยาห์เวห์ เป็นผู้ลงโทษ
10Behold the day; behold, it cometh; the turn is come forth; the rod hath blossomed, arrogancy hath budded.
10“‘ดูเถิด วันนั้น! มันมาแล้ว! ชะตากรรมกำลังเผยตัว ไม้เรียวแตกดอก ความหยิ่งผยองผลิยอด
11Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness; nought cometh from them, nor from their tumult, nor from their turmoil, neither is there eminency among them.
11ความรุนแรงเติบโตเป็นไม้เรียวแห่งความชั่วร้าย จะไม่มีใครในพวกเขาเหลืออยู่ ไม่เหลือฝูงชน ไม่เหลือทรัพย์สิน และไม่มีสิ่งมีค่าใดคงอยู่
12The time is come, the day draweth near; let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn; for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
12เวลามาถึงแล้ว วันนั้นใกล้เข้ามา ผู้ซื้ออย่ายินดี ผู้ขายอย่าโศกเศร้า เพราะความเดือดดาลอยู่เหนือฝูงชนทั้งหมด
13For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they be yet alive; for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any stand possessed of the iniquity of his life.
13ผู้ขายจะไม่ได้กลับไปครอบครองสิ่งที่ขายไป แม้เขายังมีชีวิตอยู่ เพราะนิมิตนี้เกี่ยวกับฝูงชนทั้งหมด ไม่มีใครจะกลับไป และไม่มีใครจะมีกำลังตั้งมั่นอยู่ได้ด้วยความชั่วที่ตนทำ
14They have blown the horn, and have made all ready, but none goeth to the battle; for My wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
14พวกเขาเป่าแตรและเตรียมทุกอย่างพร้อมแล้ว แต่ไม่มีใครออกไปรบ เพราะความเดือดดาลของเราอยู่เหนือฝูงชนทั้งหมด
15The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within; he that is in the field shall die with the sword, and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.
15“‘ข้างนอกมีดาบ ข้างในมีโรคระบาดและความอดอยาก คนที่อยู่ในทุ่งจะตายด้วยดาบ คนที่อยู่ในเมืองจะถูกความอดอยากและโรคระบาดกลืนกิน
16But they that shall at all escape of them, shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, every one in his iniquity.
16ผู้ที่หนีรอดจะไปอยู่บนภูเขาเหมือนนกพิราบตามหุบเขา ทุกคนคร่ำครวญเพราะความผิดของตน
17All hands shall be slack, and all knees shall drip with water.
17ทุกคนจะมืออ่อนแรง เข่าอ่อนยวบเหมือนน้ำ
18They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.
18พวกเขาจะนุ่งผ้ากระสอบ ความสยดสยองจะคลุมพวกเขา ทุกใบหน้าจะเต็มไปด้วยความอับอาย และทุกศีรษะจะถูกโกน
19They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be as an unclean thing; their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD; they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels; because it hath been the stumblingblock of their iniquity.
19พวกเขาจะโยนเงินทิ้งตามถนน และทองจะกลายเป็นของโสโครก เงินและทองช่วยพวกเขาไม่ได้ในวันแห่งความเดือดดาลของพระยาห์เวห์ ไม่อาจทำให้พวกเขาอิ่มใจหรืออิ่มท้อง เพราะทรัพย์เหล่านั้นเป็นสิ่งที่ทำให้พวกเขาสะดุดเข้าสู่ความผิด
20And as for the beauty of their ornament, which was set for a pride, they made the images of their abominations and their detestable things thereof; therefore have I made it unto them as an unclean thing.
20พวกเขาภาคภูมิในเครื่องประดับอันงดงาม แต่เอามันไปสร้างรูปสิ่งน่ารังเกียจและสิ่งน่าขยะแขยง เราจึงทำให้มันกลายเป็นของโสโครกสำหรับพวกเขา
21And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall profane it.
21เราจะมอบมันให้คนต่างชาติปล้น และให้คนชั่วในแผ่นดินยึดเป็นของ พวกเขาจะทำให้มันเสื่อมความศักดิ์สิทธิ์
22I will also turn My face from them, and they shall profane My secret place; and robbers shall enter into it, and profane it.
22เราจะหันหน้าหนีจากพวกเขา และคนเหล่านั้นจะทำให้สถานที่ลับอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของเราเสื่อมความศักดิ์สิทธิ์ พวกโจรจะบุกเข้าไปและทำให้ที่นั้นเสื่อมความศักดิ์สิทธิ์
23Make the chain; for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.
23“‘จงทำโซ่ตรวน เพราะแผ่นดินเต็มไปด้วยคดีนองเลือด และเมืองเต็มไปด้วยความรุนแรง
24Wherefore I will bring the worst of the nations, and they shall possess their houses; I will also make the pride of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be profaned.
24เราจะนำชนชาติที่เลวร้ายที่สุดมา พวกเขาจะยึดบ้านเรือนของชาวแผ่นดินนี้ เราจะทำลายความเย่อหยิ่งของผู้มีกำลัง และสถานที่ศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของพวกเขาจะถูกลบหลู่
25Horror cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.
25ความพินาศกำลังมา! พวกเขาจะเสาะหาสันติภาพ แต่จะไม่มี
26Calamity shall come upon calamity, and rumour shall be upon rumour; and they shall seek a vision of the prophet, and instruction shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the elders.
26ภัยหนึ่งจะตามมาอีกภัย ข่าวหนึ่งจะซ้อนอีกข่าว พวกเขาจะขอนิมิตจากผู้พยากรณ์ แต่ปุโรหิตจะไม่มีคำสอนให้ และผู้อาวุโสจะไม่มีคำปรึกษาให้
27The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with appalment, and the hands of the people of the land shall be enfeebled; I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.'
27กษัตริย์จะไว้ทุกข์ ผู้นำจะถูกความสิ้นหวังห่อหุ้ม มือของประชาชนในแผ่นดินจะสั่นเทา เราจะทำกับพวกเขาตามทางของพวกเขา และพิพากษาพวกเขาตามมาตรฐานการตัดสินของพวกเขาเอง แล้วพวกเขาจะรู้ว่าเราคือพระยาห์เวห์’”
