1And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
1พระดำรัสของพระยาห์เวห์มาถึงข้าพเจ้าว่า
2'Son of man, set thy face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
2“มนุษย์เอ๋ย จงหันหน้าไปทางโกกแห่งแผ่นดินมาโกก ผู้นำแห่งโรช เมเชค และทูบัล แล้วพยากรณ์กล่าวโทษเขา
3and say: Thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal;
3จงพูดว่า ‘พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้ โกก ผู้นำแห่งโรช เมเชค และทูบัลเอ๋ย เราเป็นศัตรูกับเจ้า
4and I will turn thee about, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed most gorgeously, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them handling swords:
4เราจะหันเจ้าไปรอบ เอาเบ็ดเกี่ยวขากรรไกร และนำเจ้าออกมาพร้อมกองทัพทั้งหมด ทั้งม้าและทหารม้า ทุกคนสวมเกราะเต็มตัว เป็นกองกำลังใหญ่ ถือโล่เล็ก โล่ใหญ่ และดาบ
5Persia, Cush, and Put with them, all of them with shield and helmet;
5มีเปอร์เซีย คูช และพูตร่วมด้วย ทุกคนถือโล่และสวมหมวกเกราะ
6Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah in the uttermost parts of the north, and all his bands; even many peoples with thee.
6โกเมอร์กับกองกำลังทั้งหมด และตระกูลโทการมาห์จากแดนเหนือสุดพร้อมกองกำลังทั้งหมด รวมทั้งชนชาติมากมายที่อยู่กับเจ้า
7Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou guarded of them.
7“‘“จงเตรียมตัวให้พร้อม ทั้งเจ้าและกองกำลังทั้งหมดที่มารวมกับเจ้า และเจ้าจงเฝ้าดูแลกองกำลังเหล่านั้น
8After many days thou shalt be mustered for service, in the latter years thou shalt come against the land that is brought back from the sword, that is gathered out of many peoples, against the mountains of Israel, which have been a continual waste; but it is brought forth out of the peoples, and they dwell safely all of them.
8หลังจากหลายวัน เจ้าจะถูกเรียกมา ในช่วงปลายยุค เจ้าจะเข้ามายังแผ่นดินที่ฟื้นคืนจากดาบ เป็นแผ่นดินที่ประชาชนถูกรวบรวมจากชนชาติมากมายกลับมายังภูเขาแห่งอิสราเอล ซึ่งเคยร้างอยู่นาน พวกเขาถูกนำออกมาจากชนชาติต่าง ๆ และทุกคนอยู่อย่างปลอดภัย
9And thou shalt ascend, thou shalt come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many peoples with thee.
9เจ้าจะยกทัพขึ้นมาเหมือนพายุ มาเหมือนเมฆคลุมแผ่นดิน ทั้งเจ้า กองกำลังทั้งหมด และชนชาติมากมายที่อยู่กับเจ้า”
10Thus saith the Lord GOD: It shall come to pass in that day, that things shall come into thy mind, and thou shalt devise an evil device;
10“‘พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้ “ในวันนั้น ความคิดจะเกิดขึ้นในใจเจ้า และเจ้าจะวางแผนชั่ว
11and thou shalt say: I will go up against the land of unwalled villages; I will come upon them that are at quiet, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates;
11เจ้าจะพูดว่า ‘เราจะขึ้นไปยังแผ่นดินของหมู่บ้านที่ไม่มีกำแพง ไปหาคนที่พักสงบและอยู่อย่างปลอดภัย ทุกคนอยู่โดยไม่มีกำแพง ไม่มีดาลหรือประตู
12to take the spoil and to take the prey; to turn thy hand against the waste places that are now inhabited, and against the people that are gathered out of the nations, that have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the middle of the earth.
12เราจะไปปล้นและชิงทรัพย์ หันมือเข้าต่อสู้ซากร้างที่กลับมีคนอาศัย และประชาชนที่ถูกรวบรวมจากประชาชาติ ผู้มีฝูงสัตว์และทรัพย์สิน และอาศัยอยู่ ณ ใจกลางแผ่นดิน’
13Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the magnates thereof, shall say unto thee: Comest thou to take the spoil? hast thou assembled thy company to take the prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take great spoil?
13เชบา เดดาน พ่อค้าแห่งทารชิช และพวกสิงโตหนุ่มทั้งหมดของทารชิชจะถามเจ้าว่า ‘เจ้ามาเพื่อปล้นหรือ? รวบรวมกองกำลังเพื่อชิงทรัพย์หรือ? จะกวาดเอาเงินทอง ฝูงสัตว์ และทรัพย์สิน แล้วปล้นครั้งใหญ่หรือ?’”’
14Therefore, son of man, prophesy, and say unto Gog: Thus saith the Lord GOD: In that day when My people Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?
14“เพราะฉะนั้น มนุษย์เอ๋ย จงพยากรณ์บอกโกกว่า ‘พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้ ในวันที่ประชาชนอิสราเอลของเราอยู่อย่างปลอดภัย เจ้าจะไม่รู้หรือ?
15And thou shalt come from thy place out of the uttermost parts of the north, thou, and many peoples with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company and a mighty army;
15เจ้าจะมาจากที่ของเจ้าในแดนเหนือสุด พร้อมชนชาติมากมาย ทุกคนขี่ม้า เป็นกองกำลังใหญ่และกองทัพมหึมา
16and thou shalt come up against My people Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the end of days, and I will bring thee against My land, that the nations may know Me, when I shall be sanctified through thee, O Gog, before their eyes.
16เจ้าจะยกทัพขึ้นมาต่อสู้ประชาชนอิสราเอลของเราเหมือนเมฆคลุมแผ่นดิน ในกาลปลาย เราจะนำเจ้ามาต่อสู้แผ่นดินของเรา เพื่อประชาชาติจะรู้จักเรา เมื่อเราสำแดงความศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของเราผ่านเจ้า โกกเอ๋ย ต่อหน้าต่อตาพวกเขา
17Thus saith the Lord GOD: Art thou he of whom I spoke in old time by My servants the prophets of Israel, that prophesied in those days for many years, that I would bring thee against them?
17“‘พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้ เจ้าใช่คนที่เราเคยพูดถึงในสมัยโบราณผ่านผู้รับใช้ของเรา คือผู้พยากรณ์แห่งอิสราเอล ซึ่งในสมัยนั้นพยากรณ์อยู่หลายปีว่าเราจะนำเจ้ามาต่อสู้พวกเขาหรือไม่?
18And it shall come to pass in that day, when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that My fury shall arise up in My nostrils.
18พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสว่า ในวันที่โกกเข้ามาต่อสู้แผ่นดินอิสราเอล ความเดือดดาลของเราจะพลุ่งขึ้น
19For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath have I spoken: Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
19ด้วยความหึงหวงและไฟแห่งความเดือดดาล เราได้พูดไว้ว่า ในวันนั้นจะเกิดแผ่นดินไหวครั้งใหญ่ในแผ่นดินอิสราเอล
20so that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field and all creeping things that creep upon the ground, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at My presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
20ปลาในทะเล นกบนท้องฟ้า สัตว์ในทุ่ง สัตว์เลื้อยคลานทุกชนิดบนแผ่นดิน และมนุษย์ทุกคนบนพื้นโลกจะสั่นต่อหน้าเรา ภูเขาจะพัง หน้าผาจะถล่ม และกำแพงทุกแห่งจะล้มลงกับพื้น
21And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD; every man's sword shall be against his brother.
21เราจะเรียกดาบมาต่อสู้เขาทั่วภูเขาของเรา’ พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัส ‘ดาบของทุกคนจะหันเข้าใส่พี่น้องของตนเอง
22And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will cause to rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many peoples that are with him, an overflowing shower, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
22เราจะพิพากษาเขาด้วยโรคระบาดและการนองเลือด เราจะให้ฝนห่าใหญ่ ลูกเห็บก้อนใหญ่ ไฟ และกำมะถันตกลงใส่เขา กองกำลังของเขา และชนชาติมากมายที่อยู่กับเขา
23Thus will I magnify Myself, and sanctify Myself, and I will make Myself known in the eyes of many nations; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
23เราจะสำแดงความยิ่งใหญ่และความศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของเรา และทำให้ประชาชาติมากมายรู้จักเรา แล้วพวกเขาจะรู้ว่าเราคือพระยาห์เวห์’”
