1And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
1ในปีที่สิบสอง เดือนที่สิบสอง วันที่หนึ่งของเดือน พระดำรัสของพระยาห์เวห์มาถึงข้าพเจ้าว่า
2'Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him: thou didst liken thyself unto a young lion of the nations; whereas thou art as a dragon in the seas; and thou didst gush forth with thy rivers, and didst trouble the waters with thy feet, and foul their rivers.
2“มนุษย์เอ๋ย จงเปล่งบทคร่ำครวญถึงฟาโรห์กษัตริย์แห่งอียิปต์ และบอกเขาว่า ‘เจ้าเคยถูกเปรียบเหมือนสิงโตหนุ่มท่ามกลางประชาชาติ แต่แท้จริงเจ้าเหมือนสัตว์ประหลาดในทะเล เจ้าพุ่งพล่านอยู่ในแม่น้ำของตน ใช้เท้ากวนน้ำ และทำให้ลำธารขุ่น’”
3Thus saith the Lord GOD: I will therefore spread out My net over thee with a company of many peoples; and they shall bring thee up in My net.
3พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้ “เราจะกางตาข่ายเหนือเจ้าโดยใช้ชนชาติมากมาย และพวกเขาจะลากเจ้าขึ้นด้วยตาข่ายของเรา
4And I will cast thee upon the land, I will hurl thee upon the open field, and will cause all the fowls of the heaven to settle upon thee, and I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with thee.
4เราจะทิ้งเจ้าไว้บนแผ่นดิน โยนเจ้าไว้กลางทุ่ง ให้นกทุกชนิดบนท้องฟ้ามาเกาะบนตัวเจ้า และให้สัตว์ทั่วโลกกินเจ้าจนอิ่ม
5And I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with thy foulness.
5เราจะวางเนื้อของเจ้าบนภูเขา และเอาซากใหญ่โตของเจ้าใส่เต็มหุบเขา
6I will also water with thy blood the land wherein thou swimmest, even to the mountains; and the channels shall be full of thee.
6เราจะให้เลือดของเจ้านองทั่วแผ่นดินที่เจ้าว่ายอยู่ จนถึงภูเขา และลำธารจะเต็มไปด้วยเลือดของเจ้า
7And when I shall extinguish thee, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof black; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.
7เมื่อเราดับเจ้า เราจะคลุมท้องฟ้า และทำให้ดวงดาวมืดลง เราจะคลุมดวงอาทิตย์ด้วยเมฆ และดวงจันทร์จะไม่ส่องแสง
8All the bright lights of heaven will I make black over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD.
8เราจะทำให้ดวงสว่างทั้งหมดบนท้องฟ้ามืดเหนือเจ้า และวางความมืดเหนือแผ่นดินของเจ้า” พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้
9I will also vex the hearts of many peoples, when I shall bring thy destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not known.
9“เราจะทำให้ใจของชนชาติมากมายปั่นป่วน เมื่อเรานำข่าวความพินาศของเจ้าไปท่ามกลางประชาชาติ ถึงดินแดนที่เจ้าไม่รู้จัก
10Yea, I will make many peoples appalled at thee, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for thee, when I shall brandish My sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall.
10เราจะทำให้ชนชาติมากมายตกตะลึงเพราะเจ้า กษัตริย์ของพวกเขาจะหวาดกลัวอย่างยิ่งเพราะเจ้า เมื่อเราแกว่งดาบต่อหน้าพวกเขา พวกเขาจะตัวสั่นไม่หยุด แต่ละคนหวาดกลัวเพื่อชีวิตของตนเอง ในวันที่เจ้าล้ม”
11For thus saith the Lord GOD: The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee.
11เพราะพระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้ “ดาบของกษัตริย์แห่งบาบิโลนจะมาถึงเจ้า
12By the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall; the terrible of the nations are they all; and they shall spoil the pride of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shall be destroyed.
12เราจะทำให้ฝูงชนของเจ้าล้มด้วยดาบของนักรบ คนเหล่านั้นล้วนโหดร้ายที่สุดในหมู่ประชาชาติ พวกเขาจะทำลายความหยิ่งของอียิปต์ และฝูงชนทั้งหมดจะพินาศ
13I will destroy also all the beasts thereof from beside many waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, nor the hoofs of beasts trouble them.
13เราจะทำลายสัตว์ทั้งหมดของนางที่อยู่ริมน้ำมากมายด้วย เท้ามนุษย์จะไม่กวนน้ำอีก และกีบสัตว์จะไม่ทำให้น้ำขุ่นอีก
14Then will I make their waters to settle, and cause their rivers to run like oil, saith the Lord GOD.
14แล้วเราจะทำให้น้ำของพวกเขาใส และให้แม่น้ำไหลเรียบเหมือนน้ำมัน” พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้
15When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate and waste, a land destitute of that whereof it was full, when I shall smite all them that dwell therein, then shall they know that I am the LORD.
15“เมื่อเราทำให้แผ่นดินอียิปต์ร้างเปล่าและพินาศ แผ่นดินสูญสิ้นทุกสิ่งที่เคยมีเต็มอยู่ เมื่อเราลงโทษทุกคนที่อาศัยอยู่ พวกเขาจะรู้ว่าเราคือพระยาห์เวห์
16This is the lamentation wherewith they shall lament; the daughters of the nations shall lament therewith; for Egypt, and for all her multitude, shall they lament therewith, saith the Lord GOD.'
16“‘“นี่คือบทคร่ำครวญที่คนจะใช้คร่ำครวญ พวกหญิงแห่งประชาชาติจะร้องบทนี้ คร่ำครวญถึงอียิปต์และฝูงชนทั้งหมดของนาง” พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้’”
17It came to pass also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
17ในปีที่สิบสอง วันที่สิบห้าของเดือน พระดำรัสของพระยาห์เวห์มาถึงข้าพเจ้าว่า
18'Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, with the daughters of the mighty nations, unto the nether parts of the earth, with them that go down into the pit.
18“มนุษย์เอ๋ย จงคร่ำครวญถึงฝูงชนของอียิปต์ และส่งนางพร้อมลูกสาวของประชาชาติเลื่องชื่อลงไปยังส่วนลึกของแผ่นดิน ร่วมกับผู้ที่ลงสู่หลุม
19Whom dost thou pass in beauty? Go down, and be thou laid with the uncircumcised.
19เจ้างามกว่าใครหรือ? ลงไปเถิด และนอนอยู่กับคนไม่เข้าสุหนัต
20They shall fall in the midst of them that are slain by the sword; she is delivered to the sword; draw her down and all her multitudes.
20พวกเขาจะล้มท่ามกลางผู้ถูกฆ่าด้วยดาบ นางถูกมอบไว้แก่ดาบ จงลากนางกับฝูงชนทั้งหมดไป
21The strong among the mighty shall speak of him out of the midst of the nether-world with them that helped him; they are gone down, they lie still, even the uncircumcised, slain by the sword.
21ผู้แข็งแกร่งท่ามกลางนักรบจะพูดกับเขาจากกลางเชโอล พร้อมผู้ช่วยเหลือของเขา พวกเขาลงมาแล้ว คนไม่เข้าสุหนัตนอนนิ่ง ถูกฆ่าด้วยดาบ
22Asshur is there and all her company; their graves are round about them; all of them slain, fallen by the sword;
22“อัสชูร์อยู่ที่นั่นพร้อมฝูงชนทั้งหมด หลุมศพอยู่รอบนาง ทุกคนถูกฆ่า ล้มด้วยดาบ
23whose graves are set in the uttermost parts of the pit, and her company is round about her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who caused terror in the land of the living.
23หลุมศพของพวกเขาอยู่ในส่วนลึกสุดของหลุม และฝูงชนล้อมหลุมศพ ทุกคนถูกฆ่า ล้มด้วยดาบ คนเหล่านี้เคยทำให้แผ่นดินของคนเป็นหวาดกลัว
24There is Elam and all her multitude round about her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, who caused their terror in the land of the living; yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit.
24“เอลามอยู่ที่นั่นพร้อมฝูงชนทั้งหมดล้อมหลุมศพ ทุกคนถูกฆ่า ล้มด้วยดาบ ลงสู่ส่วนลึกของแผ่นดินโดยไม่ได้เข้าสุหนัต พวกเขาเคยทำให้แผ่นดินของคนเป็นหวาดกลัว บัดนี้ต้องแบกรับความอับอายร่วมกับผู้ที่ลงสู่หลุม
25They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude; her graves are round about them; all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword; because their terror was caused in the land of the living, yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit; they are put in the midst of them that are slain.
25มีการจัดที่นอนให้เอลามท่ามกลางผู้ถูกฆ่าพร้อมฝูงชน หลุมศพอยู่รอบ ทุกคนไม่เข้าสุหนัตและถูกฆ่าด้วยดาบ เพราะเคยทำให้แผ่นดินของคนเป็นหวาดกลัว บัดนี้แบกรับความอับอายร่วมกับผู้ที่ลงสู่หลุม เอลามถูกวางไว้ท่ามกลางผู้ถูกฆ่า
26There is Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude; her graves are round about them; all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword; because they caused their terror in the land of the living.
26“เมเชค ทูบัล และฝูงชนทั้งหมดอยู่ที่นั่น หลุมศพอยู่รอบ ทุกคนไม่เข้าสุหนัตและถูกฆ่าด้วยดาบ เพราะเคยทำให้แผ่นดินของคนเป็นหวาดกลัว
27And they that are inferior to the uncircumcised shall not lie with the mighty that are gone down to the nether-world with their weapons of war, whose swords are laid under their heads, and whose iniquities are upon their bones; because the terror of the mighty was in the land of the living.
27พวกเขาจะไม่ได้นอนร่วมกับนักรบผู้ไม่เข้าสุหนัตที่ล้มลง ผู้ลงสู่เชโอลพร้อมอาวุธสงคราม วางดาบไว้ใต้ศีรษะ ความผิดของพวกเขาอยู่บนกระดูก เพราะนักรบเหล่านี้เคยเป็นความน่าสะพรึงในแผ่นดินของคนเป็น
28But thou, in the midst of the uncircumcised shalt thou be broken and lie, even with them that are slain by the sword.
28“ส่วนเจ้า เจ้าจะถูกบดขยี้ท่ามกลางคนไม่เข้าสุหนัต และนอนร่วมกับผู้ถูกฆ่าด้วยดาบ
29There is Edom, her kings and all her princes, who for all their might are laid with them that are slain by the sword; they shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with them that go down to the pit.
29“เอโดมอยู่ที่นั่น พร้อมกษัตริย์และผู้นำทั้งหมด แม้เคยมีอำนาจ ก็ถูกวางไว้กับผู้ถูกฆ่าด้วยดาบ พวกเขาจะนอนกับคนไม่เข้าสุหนัตและผู้ที่ลงสู่หลุม
30There are the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Zidonians, who are gone down with the slain, ashamed for all the terror which they caused by their might, and they lie uncircumcised with them that are slain by the sword, and bear their shame with them that go down to the pit.
30“ผู้นำแห่งทิศเหนือทั้งหมดและชาวไซดอนทั้งปวงอยู่ที่นั่น พวกเขาลงไปกับผู้ถูกฆ่า ต้องอับอายทั้งที่เคยทำให้คนหวาดกลัวด้วยกำลัง นอนโดยไม่ได้เข้าสุหนัตกับผู้ถูกฆ่าด้วยดาบ และแบกรับความอับอายร่วมกับผู้ที่ลงสู่หลุม
31These shall Pharaoh see, and shall be comforted over all his multitude; even Pharaoh and all his army, slain by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.
31“ฟาโรห์จะเห็นคนเหล่านี้ แล้วจะได้รับการปลอบใจเรื่องฝูงชนทั้งหมดของตน คือฟาโรห์กับกองทัพทั้งหมดซึ่งถูกฆ่าด้วยดาบ” พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้
32For I have put My terror in the land of the living; and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised, with them that are slain by the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.'
32“เพราะเราให้ความน่าสะพรึงของเขาอยู่ในแผ่นดินของคนเป็น เขาจะถูกวางไว้ท่ามกลางคนไม่เข้าสุหนัต ร่วมกับผู้ถูกฆ่าด้วยดาบ คือฟาโรห์และฝูงชนทั้งหมดของเขา” พระผู้เป็นเจ้า พระยาห์เวห์ตรัสดังนี้
