1There is now therefore no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh.
1Тим же то тепер нема нїякого осуду тим, що в Христї Ісусї не по тїлу ходять, а по духу.
2For the law of the spirit of life, in Christ Jesus, hath delivered me from the law of sin and of death.
2Закон бо духа життя в Христї Ісусї визволив мене від закону гріха і від смерти.
3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh; God sending his own Son, in the likeness of sinful flesh and of sin, hath condemned sin in the flesh;
3Позаяк закон, ослаблений тїлом, був безсилен, то Бог, піславши Сина свого в подобі тїла гріховного і ради гріха, осудив гріх у тїлї,
4That the justification of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the spirit.
4щоб оправданнє закону сповнилось в нас, которі не по тїлу ходимо, а по духу.
5For they that are according to the flesh, mind the things that are of the flesh; but they that are according to the spirit, mind the things that are of the spirit.
5Которі бо по тїлу, ті думають про тїлесне, которі ж по духу, — про духовне.
6For the wisdom of the flesh is death; but the wisdom of the spirit is life and peace.
6Думаннє бо тїлесне — смерть, а думаннє духовне — життє і впокій.
7Because the wisdom of the flesh is an enemy to God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither can it be.
7Тим що думаннє тїлесне — ворогуваннє проти Бога; законові бо Божому не корить ся, та й не може.
8And they who are in the flesh, cannot please God.
8Хто бо по тїлу, ті Богу вгодити не можуть.
9But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
9Ви ж не по тїлу, а в дусї, коли тільки Дух Божий домує в вас. Коли ж хто Духа Христового не має, то сей не Його.
10And if Christ be in you, the body indeed is dead, because of sin; but the spirit liveth, because of justification.
10Коли ж Христос в вас, тодї тїло мертве для гріха, дух же живий ради праведности.
11And if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead, dwell in you; he that raised up Jesus Christ from the dead, shall quicken also your mortal bodies, because of his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
11Коли ж Дух Того, хто воскресив Ісуса з мертвих домує в вас, то Воскресивший Христа із мертвих оживить і смертні тїла ваші Духом своїм, що домує в вас.
12Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.
12Тим же то, браттє, ми довжники не тїлу, щоб по тїлу жити.
13For if you live according to the flesh, you shall die: but if by the Spirit you mortify the deeds of the flesh, you shall live.
13Коли бо живете по тїлу, то помрете; коли ж духом дїла тїлесні мертвите, будете живі.
14For whosoever are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
14Котрі бо Духом Божим водять ся, ті сини Божі.
15For you have not received the spirit of bondage again in fear; but you have received the spirit of adoption of sons, whereby we cry: Abba (Father).
15Бо не прийняли ви духа неволї, знов на боязнь, а прийняли духа всиновлення, нимже покликуємо: Авва, Отче!
16For the Spirit himself giveth testimony to our spirit, that we are the sons of God.
16Сей самий Дух сьвідкує нашому духові, що ми дїти Божі,
17And if sons, heirs also; heirs indeed of God, and joint heirs with Christ: yet so, if we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him.
17коли ж дїти, то й наслїдники, наслїдники Божі, а спільні наслїдники Христові, коли тільки з Ним страждемо, щоб з Ним і прославитись.
18For I reckon that the sufferings of this time are not worthy to be compared with the glory to come, that shall be revealed in us.
18Думаю бо, що муки теперішнього часу недостойні слави, що має явитись в нас.
19For the expectation of the creature waiteth for the revelation of the sons of God.
19Бо дожиданнє творива дожидає одкриття синів Божих.
20For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him that made it subject, in hope:
20Суєтї бо твориво підневолилось не по волї, а через підневолившого, в надїї,
21Because the creature also itself shall be delivered from the servitude of corruption, into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.
21що й саме твориво визволить ся з неволї зотлїння на волю слави дїтей Божих.
22For we know that every creature groaneth and travaileth in pain, even till now.
22Знаємо бо, що все твориво вкупі стогне і мучить ся аж досї.
23And not only it, but ourselves also, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption of the sons of God, the redemption of our body.
23Не тільки ж (воно), та й ми самі, первоплід духа маючи, й ми самі в собі стогнемо, ждучи всиновлення, избавлення тїла нашого.
24For we are saved by hope. But hope that is seen, is not hope. For what a man seeth, why doth he hope for?
24Надїєю бо спаслись ми; надїя ж видима не єсть надїя; що бо хто бачить, чого й надїятись?
25But if we hope for that which we see not, we wait for it with patience.
25Коли ж надїємось, чого не бачимо, терпіннєм ждемо.
26Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity. For we know not what we should pray for as we ought; but the Spirit himself asketh for us with unspeakable groanings.
26Так же само й Дух помагає нам в немощах наших; про що бо молитись нам так, як треба, не знаємо, та сам Дух заступаєть ся за нас стогнаннєм невимовним.
27And he that searcheth the hearts, knoweth what the Spirit desireth; because he asketh for the saints according to God.
27Той же, хто вивідує серця, знає, яка думка в Духа; бо по Богу промовляє за сьвятих.
28And we know that to them that love God, all things work together unto good, to such as, according to his purpose, are called to be saints.
28Знаємо ж, що люблячим Бога, усе допомагає до доброго, котрі по постанові (Його) покликані;
29For whom he foreknew, he also predestinated to be made conformable to the image of his Son; that he might be the firstborn amongst many brethren.
29бо котрих наперед узнав, тих наперед і призначив бути подобним образу Сина Його, щоб Він був первородним між многими братами.
30And whom he predestinated, them he also called. And whom he called, them he also justified. And whom he justified, them he also glorified.
30А кого наперед призначив, тих і покликав; а кого прикликав, тих і оправдив, а кого оправдив, тих і прославив.
31What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who is against us?
31Що ж скажемо на се? Коли Бог за нас, хто на нас?
32He that spared not even his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how hath he not also, with him, given us all things?
32Він, що свого Сина не пощадив, а за всїх нас видав Його, хиба ж з Ним і всього нам не подарує?
33Who shall accuse against the elect of God? God that justifieth.
33Хто буде винуватити вибраних Божих? Бог же, той, що оправдує!
34Who is he that shall condemn? Christ Jesus that died, yea that is risen also again; who is at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
34Хто ж се, що осуджує? (Та ж) Христос умер, ба й воскрес; Він і по правицї в Отця, Він і заступаєть ся за нас!
35Who then shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation? or distress? or famine? or nakedness? or danger? or persecution? or the sword?
35Хто нас розлучить од любови Христової? чи горе, чи тїснота, чи гоненнє, чи голод, чи нагота, чи біда, чи меч?
36(As it is written: For thy sake we are put to death all the day long. We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.)
36Яко ж писано: задля тебе вбивають нас увесь день, полїчено нас як овечок на заріз.
37But in all these things we overcome, because of him that hath loved us.
37Та у всьому тому ми побіждаємо через Возлюбившого нас.
38For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor might,
38Упевнив ся бо я, що нї смерть, нї життє, нї ангели, нї князївства, нї сили, нї теперішнє, нї будуче,
39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
39нї висота, нї глибина, нї инше яке твориво не возможе нас розлучити від любови Божої, що в Христї Ісусї, Господї нашім.
