1There is now therefore no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh.
1เพราะฉะนั้น บัดนี้จึงไม่มีการพิพากษาลงโทษสำหรับผู้ที่อยู่ในพระเยซูคริสต์ คือผู้ที่ไม่ได้ดำเนินตามเนื้อหนัง แต่ดำเนินตามพระวิญญาณ
2For the law of the spirit of life, in Christ Jesus, hath delivered me from the law of sin and of death.
2เพราะกฎของพระวิญญาณแห่งชีวิตในพระเยซูคริสต์ ได้ปลดปล่อยข้าพเจ้าจากกฎของบาปและความตาย
3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh; God sending his own Son, in the likeness of sinful flesh and of sin, hath condemned sin in the flesh;
3สิ่งที่ธรรมบัญญัติทำไม่ได้ เพราะเนื้อหนังทำให้ธรรมบัญญัติอ่อนกำลัง พระเจ้าทรงทำสิ่งนั้นแล้ว โดยส่งพระบุตรของพระองค์เองมาในสภาพเหมือนเนื้อหนังของมนุษย์ที่มีบาป และในเรื่องบาป พระเจ้าทรงพิพากษาลงโทษบาปในเนื้อหนัง
4That the justification of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the spirit.
4เพื่อข้อกำหนดของธรรมบัญญัติจะสำเร็จในพวกเรา ผู้ที่ไม่ได้ดำเนินตามเนื้อหนัง แต่ดำเนินตามพระวิญญาณ
5For they that are according to the flesh, mind the things that are of the flesh; but they that are according to the spirit, mind the things that are of the spirit.
5เพราะคนที่ดำเนินชีวิตตามเนื้อหนัง ย่อมมุ่งใจไปที่สิ่งที่เป็นฝ่ายเนื้อหนัง แต่คนที่ดำเนินชีวิตตามพระวิญญาณ ย่อมมุ่งใจไปที่สิ่งที่เป็นฝ่ายพระวิญญาณ
6For the wisdom of the flesh is death; but the wisdom of the spirit is life and peace.
6เพราะจิตใจที่มุ่งตามเนื้อหนังคือความตาย แต่จิตใจที่มุ่งตามพระวิญญาณคือชีวิตและสันติสุข
7Because the wisdom of the flesh is an enemy to God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither can it be.
7เพราะจิตใจที่มุ่งตามเนื้อหนังเป็นศัตรูต่อพระเจ้า ไม่ยอมอยู่ใต้ธรรมบัญญัติของพระเจ้า และที่จริงก็ทำเช่นนั้นไม่ได้
8And they who are in the flesh, cannot please God.
8คนที่อยู่ฝ่ายเนื้อหนังไม่สามารถทำให้พระเจ้าพอใจได้
9But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
9แต่พวกคุณไม่ได้อยู่ฝ่ายเนื้อหนัง แต่อยู่ฝ่ายพระวิญญาณ ถ้าพระวิญญาณของพระเจ้าอาศัยอยู่ในพวกคุณ แต่ถ้าใครไม่มีพระวิญญาณของพระคริสต์ คนนั้นก็ไม่ใช่ของพระองค์
10And if Christ be in you, the body indeed is dead, because of sin; but the spirit liveth, because of justification.
10ถ้าพระคริสต์อยู่ในพวกคุณ ร่างกายก็ตายเพราะบาป แต่วิญญาณมีชีวิตเพราะความชอบธรรม
11And if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead, dwell in you; he that raised up Jesus Christ from the dead, shall quicken also your mortal bodies, because of his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
11และถ้าพระวิญญาณของพระองค์ผู้ทรงทำให้พระเยซูฟื้นขึ้นจากความตาย อาศัยอยู่ในพวกคุณ พระองค์ผู้ทรงทำให้พระเยซูคริสต์ฟื้นขึ้นจากความตาย ก็จะประทานชีวิตแก่ร่างกายที่ต้องตายของพวกคุณด้วย โดยทางพระวิญญาณของพระองค์ที่อาศัยอยู่ในพวกคุณ
12Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.
12เพราะฉะนั้น พี่น้อง เราไม่ได้เป็นหนี้เนื้อหนังที่จะต้องดำเนินชีวิตตามเนื้อหนัง
13For if you live according to the flesh, you shall die: but if by the Spirit you mortify the deeds of the flesh, you shall live.
13เพราะถ้าพวกคุณดำเนินชีวิตตามเนื้อหนัง พวกคุณจะต้องตาย แต่ถ้าโดยพระวิญญาณ พวกคุณทำให้การกระทำของร่างกายตาย พวกคุณจะมีชีวิต
14For whosoever are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
14เพราะทุกคนที่พระวิญญาณของพระเจ้าทรงนำ คนเหล่านั้นเป็นลูกของพระเจ้า
15For you have not received the spirit of bondage again in fear; but you have received the spirit of adoption of sons, whereby we cry: Abba (Father).
15เพราะพวกคุณไม่ได้รับวิญญาณแห่งการเป็นทาสให้กลับไปกลัวอีก แต่พวกคุณได้รับพระวิญญาณแห่งการรับเป็นบุตร โดยพระวิญญาณนั้นเราร้องว่า “อับบา! พระบิดา!”
16For the Spirit himself giveth testimony to our spirit, that we are the sons of God.
16พระวิญญาณเองทรงเป็นพยานร่วมกับวิญญาณของเราว่า เราเป็นลูกของพระเจ้า
17And if sons, heirs also; heirs indeed of God, and joint heirs with Christ: yet so, if we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him.
17และถ้าเราเป็นลูก เราก็เป็นทายาท คือเป็นทายาทของพระเจ้า และเป็นทายาทร่วมกับพระคริสต์ ถ้าเราได้ร่วมทนทุกข์กับพระองค์จริง เพื่อเราจะได้รับพระสิริร่วมกับพระองค์ด้วย
18For I reckon that the sufferings of this time are not worthy to be compared with the glory to come, that shall be revealed in us.
18เพราะข้าพเจ้าเห็นว่า ความทุกข์ในเวลาปัจจุบันนี้ ไม่ควรนำมาเทียบกับพระสิริที่จะปรากฏแก่เรา
19For the expectation of the creature waiteth for the revelation of the sons of God.
19เพราะสิ่งที่ถูกสร้างทั้งปวงกำลังเฝ้ารออย่างใจจดใจจ่อ ให้ลูกของพระเจ้าปรากฏ
20For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him that made it subject, in hope:
20เพราะสิ่งที่ถูกสร้างทั้งปวงถูกทำให้ตกอยู่ในความสูญเปล่า ไม่ใช่เพราะสมัครใจเอง แต่เพราะพระองค์ผู้ทรงทำให้เป็นเช่นนั้น โดยมีความหวัง
21Because the creature also itself shall be delivered from the servitude of corruption, into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.
21ว่าสิ่งที่ถูกสร้างทั้งปวงเองก็จะได้รับการปลดปล่อยจากการเป็นทาสของความเสื่อมสลาย และเข้าสู่เสรีภาพในพระสิริของลูกของพระเจ้า
22For we know that every creature groaneth and travaileth in pain, even till now.
22เพราะเรารู้ว่า สิ่งที่ถูกสร้างทั้งปวงคร่ำครวญและเจ็บปวดเหมือนหญิงกำลังคลอดร่วมกันมาจนถึงบัดนี้
23And not only it, but ourselves also, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption of the sons of God, the redemption of our body.
23ไม่เพียงเท่านั้น แม้แต่เราเอง ผู้มีผลแรกของพระวิญญาณ ก็ยังคร่ำครวญอยู่ภายใน ขณะรอคอยการรับเป็นบุตร คือการไถ่ร่างกายของเรา
24For we are saved by hope. But hope that is seen, is not hope. For what a man seeth, why doth he hope for?
24เพราะเราได้รับความรอดในความหวัง แต่ความหวังที่มองเห็นแล้วก็ไม่ใช่ความหวัง เพราะใครจะหวังในสิ่งที่ตนมองเห็นแล้ว
25But if we hope for that which we see not, we wait for it with patience.
25แต่ถ้าเราหวังในสิ่งที่เรายังมองไม่เห็น เราก็รอคอยด้วยความอดทน
26Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity. For we know not what we should pray for as we ought; but the Spirit himself asketh for us with unspeakable groanings.
26เช่นเดียวกัน พระวิญญาณก็ทรงช่วยเราในความอ่อนแอทั้งหลายของเรา เพราะเราไม่รู้ว่าควรอธิษฐานอย่างไร แต่พระวิญญาณเองทรงวิงวอนแทนเราด้วยความคร่ำครวญที่ไม่อาจกล่าวเป็นคำได้
27And he that searcheth the hearts, knoweth what the Spirit desireth; because he asketh for the saints according to God.
27และพระองค์ผู้ทรงสำรวจใจ ย่อมทรงรู้ความคิดของพระวิญญาณ เพราะพระวิญญาณทรงวิงวอนเพื่อผู้บริสุทธิ์ตามความประสงค์ของพระเจ้า
28And we know that to them that love God, all things work together unto good, to such as, according to his purpose, are called to be saints.
28เรารู้ว่า ทุกสิ่งร่วมกันก่อให้เกิดผลดีแก่คนที่รักพระเจ้า คือคนที่ถูกเรียกตามความมุ่งหมายของพระองค์
29For whom he foreknew, he also predestinated to be made conformable to the image of his Son; that he might be the firstborn amongst many brethren.
29เพราะคนที่พระองค์ทรงรู้จักล่วงหน้า พระองค์ก็ทรงกำหนดไว้ล่วงหน้าให้เป็นเหมือนพระฉายาของพระบุตรของพระองค์ เพื่อพระบุตรจะเป็นบุตรหัวปีท่ามกลางพี่น้องจำนวนมาก
30And whom he predestinated, them he also called. And whom he called, them he also justified. And whom he justified, them he also glorified.
30คนที่พระองค์ทรงกำหนดไว้ล่วงหน้า พระองค์ก็ทรงเรียก คนที่ทรงเรียก พระองค์ก็ทรงให้ได้รับความชอบธรรม และคนที่ทรงให้ได้รับความชอบธรรม พระองค์ก็ทรงให้ได้รับพระสิริ
31What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who is against us?
31ถ้าเช่นนั้น เราจะว่าอย่างไรเกี่ยวกับเรื่องเหล่านี้ ถ้าพระเจ้าทรงอยู่ฝ่ายเรา ใครจะต่อต้านเราได้
32He that spared not even his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how hath he not also, with him, given us all things?
32พระองค์ผู้ไม่ทรงหวงพระบุตรของพระองค์เอง แต่ทรงมอบพระบุตรนั้นไว้เพื่อเราทุกคน จะไม่ทรงมอบทุกสิ่งแก่เราโดยไม่คิดสิ่งตอบแทน พร้อมกับพระบุตรด้วยหรือ
33Who shall accuse against the elect of God? God that justifieth.
33ใครจะกล่าวหาผู้ที่พระเจ้าทรงเลือก พระเจ้าเองทรงเป็นผู้ให้ความชอบธรรม
34Who is he that shall condemn? Christ Jesus that died, yea that is risen also again; who is at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
34ใครจะเป็นผู้พิพากษาลงโทษ พระคริสต์ต่างหากที่ตาย และยิ่งกว่านั้น พระองค์ทรงฟื้นขึ้นจากความตาย ทรงอยู่ทางขวามือของพระเจ้า และทรงวิงวอนเพื่อเราด้วย
35Who then shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation? or distress? or famine? or nakedness? or danger? or persecution? or the sword?
35ใครจะแยกเราออกจากความรักของพระคริสต์ ความทุกข์ยาก ความคับแค้น การข่มเหง การกันดารอาหาร ความเปลือยเปล่า อันตราย หรือคมดาบ จะทำได้หรือ
36(As it is written: For thy sake we are put to death all the day long. We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.)
36ดังที่มีเขียนไว้ว่า “เพราะเห็นแก่พระองค์ พวกเราถูกฆ่าตลอดทั้งวัน พวกเราถูกนับว่าเป็นแกะสำหรับการฆ่า”
37But in all these things we overcome, because of him that hath loved us.
37ไม่เลย ในทุกสิ่งเหล่านี้ เรามีชัยอย่างท่วมท้น โดยทางพระองค์ผู้ทรงรักเรา
38For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor might,
38เพราะข้าพเจ้ามั่นใจว่า ไม่ว่าความตาย หรือชีวิต หรือทูตสวรรค์ หรือผู้มีอำนาจปกครอง หรือสิ่งที่มีอยู่ในปัจจุบัน หรือสิ่งที่จะมา หรือฤทธิ์อำนาจ
39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
39หรือความสูง หรือความลึก หรือสิ่งอื่นใดที่ถูกสร้าง ก็ไม่สามารถแยกเราออกจากความรักของพระเจ้า ซึ่งมีอยู่ในพระเยซูคริสต์ องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าของเรา
