1There is now therefore no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh.
1Никаква, дакле, сад нема осуђења онима који су у Христу Исусу и не ходе по телу него по Духу.
2For the law of the spirit of life, in Christ Jesus, hath delivered me from the law of sin and of death.
2Јер закон Духа који оживљава у Христу Исусу, опростио ме је од закона греховног и смрти.
3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh; God sending his own Son, in the likeness of sinful flesh and of sin, hath condemned sin in the flesh;
3Јер што закону беше немогуће, јер беше ослабљен телом, посла Бог сина свог у обличју тела греховног, и за грех осуди грех у телу,
4That the justification of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the spirit.
4да се правда закона испуни у нама који не живимо по телу него по духу;
5For they that are according to the flesh, mind the things that are of the flesh; but they that are according to the spirit, mind the things that are of the spirit.
5јер који су по телу телесно мисле, а који су по духу духовно мисле.
6For the wisdom of the flesh is death; but the wisdom of the spirit is life and peace.
6Јер телесно мудровање смрт је, а духовно мудровање живот је и мир.
7Because the wisdom of the flesh is an enemy to God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither can it be.
7Јер телесно мудровање непријатељство је Богу, јер се не покорава закону Божијем нити може.
8And they who are in the flesh, cannot please God.
8А који су у телу не могу Богу угодити.
9But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
9А ви нисте у телу него у духу; јер Дух Божји у вама живи. А ако ко нема Дух Христов, он није Његов.
10And if Christ be in you, the body indeed is dead, because of sin; but the spirit liveth, because of justification.
10А ако је Христос у вама, онда је тело мртво греха ради а дух жив правде ради.
11And if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead, dwell in you; he that raised up Jesus Christ from the dead, shall quicken also your mortal bodies, because of his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
11А ако ли живи у вама Дух Оног који је васкрсао Исуса из мртвих, Онај који је подигао Христа из мртвих оживеће и ваша смртна телеса Духом својим који живи у вама.
12Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.
12Тако дакле, браћо, нисмо дужни телу да по телу живимо.
13For if you live according to the flesh, you shall die: but if by the Spirit you mortify the deeds of the flesh, you shall live.
13Јер ако живите по телу, помрећете; ако ли духом послове телесне морите, живећете.
14For whosoever are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
14Јер који се владају по духу Божијем они су синови Божији.
15For you have not received the spirit of bondage again in fear; but you have received the spirit of adoption of sons, whereby we cry: Abba (Father).
15Јер не примисте дух ропства, опет да се бојите; него примисте Дух посиначки, којим вичемо: Ава, Оче!
16For the Spirit himself giveth testimony to our spirit, that we are the sons of God.
16Овај дух сведочи нашем духу да смо деца Божија.
17And if sons, heirs also; heirs indeed of God, and joint heirs with Christ: yet so, if we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him.
17А кад смо деца и наследници смо: наследници, дакле Божији, а сунаследници Христови: јер с Њим страдамо да се с Њим и прославимо.
18For I reckon that the sufferings of this time are not worthy to be compared with the glory to come, that shall be revealed in us.
18Јер мислим да страдања садашњег времена нису ништа према слави која ће нам се јавити.
19For the expectation of the creature waiteth for the revelation of the sons of God.
19Јер чекање твари чека да се јаве синови Божији.
20For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him that made it subject, in hope:
20Јер се твар покори пропадљивости (не од своје воље него за вољу оног који је покори) на наду,
21Because the creature also itself shall be delivered from the servitude of corruption, into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.
21да ће се и сама твар опростити од ропства распадљивости на слободу славе деце Божије.
22For we know that every creature groaneth and travaileth in pain, even till now.
22Јер знамо да сва твар уздише и тужи с нама до сад.
23And not only it, but ourselves also, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption of the sons of God, the redemption of our body.
23А не само она, него и ми који новину духа имамо, и ми сами у себи уздишемо чекајући посињење и избављење телу свом.
24For we are saved by hope. But hope that is seen, is not hope. For what a man seeth, why doth he hope for?
24Јер се надом спасосмо. А нада који се види није нада; јер кад ко види шта, како ће му се надати?
25But if we hope for that which we see not, we wait for it with patience.
25Ако ли се надамо ономе што не видимо, чекамо с трпљењем.
26Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity. For we know not what we should pray for as we ought; but the Spirit himself asketh for us with unspeakable groanings.
26А тако и Дух помаже нам у нашим слабостима: јер не знамо за шта ћемо се молити као што треба, него сам Дух моли се за нас уздисањем неисказаним.
27And he that searcheth the hearts, knoweth what the Spirit desireth; because he asketh for the saints according to God.
27А Онај што испитује срца зна шта је мисао Духа, јер по вољи Божијој моли се за свете.
28And we know that to them that love God, all things work together unto good, to such as, according to his purpose, are called to be saints.
28А знамо да онима који љубе Бога све иде на добро, који су позвани по намерењу.
29For whom he foreknew, he also predestinated to be made conformable to the image of his Son; that he might be the firstborn amongst many brethren.
29Јер које напред позна оне и одреди да буду једнаки обличју Сина његовог, да би Он био прворођени међу многом браћом.
30And whom he predestinated, them he also called. And whom he called, them he also justified. And whom he justified, them he also glorified.
30А које одреди оне и дозва; а које дозва оне и оправда; а које оправда оне и прослави.
31What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who is against us?
31Шта ћемо, дакле, рећи на ово? Ако је Бог с нама, ко ће на нас?
32He that spared not even his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how hath he not also, with him, given us all things?
32Који, дакле, свог сина не поштеде, него га предаде за све нас, како, дакле, да нам с Њим све не дарује?
33Who shall accuse against the elect of God? God that justifieth.
33Ко ће оптужити избране Божије? Бог који правда?
34Who is he that shall condemn? Christ Jesus that died, yea that is risen also again; who is at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
34Ко ће осудити? Христос Исус који умре, па још и васкрсе, који је с десне стране Богу, и моли за нас?
35Who then shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation? or distress? or famine? or nakedness? or danger? or persecution? or the sword?
35Ко ће нас раставити од љубави Божије? Невоља ли или туга? Или гоњење? Или глад? Или голотиња? Или страх? Или мач? Као што стоји написано:
36(As it is written: For thy sake we are put to death all the day long. We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.)
36За Тебе нас убијају вас дан, држе нас као овце које су за клање.
37But in all these things we overcome, because of him that hath loved us.
37Али у свему овоме побеђујемо Оног ради који нас је љубио.
38For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor might,
38Јер знам јамачно да ни смрт, ни живот, ни анђели, ни поглаварства, ни силе, ни садашње, ни будуће,
39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
39ни висина, ни дубина, ни друга каква твар може нас раставити од љубави Божије, која је у Христу Исусу, Господу нашем.
