1(10-2) Now those that set their seal were: Nehemiah the Tirshatha, the son of Hachaliah, and Zedekiah;

9レビ人は、アザニヤの子エシュア、ヘナダデの子らのうちのビヌイ、カドミエル、
9(10-10) And the Levites: Jeshua the son of Azaniah, Binnui of the sons of Henadad, Kadmiel;
10そして彼らの兄弟であるシェバニヤ、ホディヤ、ケリタ、ペラヤ、ハナン、
10(10-11) and their brethren, Shebaniah, Hodiah, Kelita, Pelaiah, Hanan;

11(10-12) Mica, Rehob, Hashabiah;

12(10-13) Zaccur, Sherebiah, Shebaniah;

27(10-28) Malluch, Harim, Baanah.
28残りの民、祭司、レビ人、門衛、歌うたい、宮のしもべたち、およびその地の諸国の民から離れて神の律法に従ったすべての者、その妻、息子、娘、すなわち知識と理解のある者は皆、
28(10-29) And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the porters, the singers, the Nethinim, and all they that had separated themselves from the peoples of the lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, every one that had knowledge and understanding;
29兄弟である貴族たちに加わり、違反すればのろいを受けるとの誓いを立てた。それは、神のしもべモーセによって与えられた神の律法に歩み、私たちの主、主のすべての戒め、定め、掟を守り行うとの誓いであった。
29(10-30) they cleaved to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God's law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and His ordinances and His statutes;
30また、自分たちの娘をその地の民の息子に与えず、自分たちの息子のために彼らの娘を迎えないこと、
30(10-31) and that we would not give our daughters unto the peoples of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons;
31その地の民が安息日に品物や穀物を売りに来ても、安息日や聖なる日には買わないこと、第七年には土地を休ませ、あらゆる負債の取り立てを免除することを誓った。
31(10-32) and if the peoples of the land bring ware or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy of them on the sabbath, or on a holy day; and that we would forego the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.
32また私たちは、自分たちの神の家の奉仕のため、年ごとに三分の一シェケル をそれぞれ負担するとの定めを設けた。
32(10-33) Also we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our God;
33それは、供えのパン、常供の穀物のささげ物、常供の全焼のささげ物、安息日、新月祭、定められた祭り、聖なる物、イスラエルの贖罪のための罪のささげ物、および私たちの神の家のすべての働きのためである。
33(10-34) for the showbread, and for the continual meal-offering, and for the continual burnt-offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the appointed seasons, and for the holy things, and for the sin-offerings to make atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God.
34私たち、祭司、レビ人、民は、薪のささげ物についてくじを引き、律法に書かれているとおり、私たちの神、主の祭壇で燃やすため、父の家ごとに、年々定められた時期に、神の家へ持って来ることにした。
34(10-35) And we cast lots, the priests, the Levites, and the people, for the wood-offering, to bring it into the house of our God, according to our fathers' houses, at times appointed, year by year, to burn upon the altar of the LORD our God, as it is written in the Law;
35また、土地の初穂と、あらゆる木の実の初物を、年ごとに主の家へ持って来ること、
35(10-36) and to bring the first-fruits of our land, and the first-fruits of all fruit of all manner of trees, year by year, unto the house of the LORD;
36律法に書かれているとおり、息子たちの初子、家畜の初子、牛と羊の群れの初子を、私たちの神の家で仕える祭司たちのもとへ持って来ること、
36(10-37) also the first-born of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the Law, and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, unto the priests that minister in the house of our God;
37練り粉の初物、奉納物、あらゆる木の実、新しいぶどう酒と油を、祭司たちのもとへ、私たちの神の家の部屋へ持って来ること、また土地の十分の一をレビ人に渡すことにした。レビ人が、すべての農村で十分の一を受け取るからである。
37(10-38) and that we should bring the first of our dough, and our heave-offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, the wine and the oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of our land unto the Levites; for they, the Levites, take the tithes in all the cities of our tillage.
38レビ人が十分の一を受け取るときには、アロンの子孫である祭司がともにいなければならない。レビ人は十分の一のさらに十分の一を、私たちの神の家の宝物倉の部屋へ運び上げなければならない。
38(10-39) And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes; and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure-house.
39イスラエルの子らとレビの子らは、穀物、新しいぶどう酒、油の奉納物を、聖所の器が置かれ、仕える祭司、門衛、歌うたいがいる部屋へ持って来るからである。私たちは、私たちの神の家を見捨てない。
39(10-40) For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the heave-offering of the corn, of the wine, and of the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the porters, and the singers; and we will not forsake the house of our God.
