1シェアルティエルの子ゼルバベルとエシュアとともに上って来た祭司とレビ人は次のとおりである。セラヤ、エレミヤ、エズラ、
1Now these are the priests and the Levites that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra;
2アマルヤ、マルク、ハトシュ、
2Amariah, Malluch, Hattush;
3シェカニヤ、レフム、メレモテ、
3Shecaniah, Rehum, Meremoth;
4イド、ギネトイ、アビヤ、
4Iddo, Ginnethoi, Abijah;
5ミヤミン、マアデヤ、ビルガ、
5Mijamin, Maadiah, Bilgah;
6シェマヤ、ヨヤリブ、エダヤ、
6Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah;
7サル、アモク、ヒルキヤ、エダヤ。彼らはエシュアの時代の祭司と、その兄弟たちの長であった。
7Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These were the chiefs of the priests and their brethren in the days of Jeshua.
8レビ人は、エシュア、ビヌイ、カドミエル、シェレブヤ、ユダ、そして感謝の歌を取り仕切るマタヌヤと、その兄弟たちであった。
8Moreover the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, and Mattaniah, who was over the thanksgiving, he and his brethren.

9Also Bakbukiah and Unni, their brethren, were over against them in wards.
10エシュアにヨヤキムが生まれ、ヨヤキムにエリアシブが生まれ、エリアシブにヨヤダが生まれ、
10And Jeshua begot Joiakim, and Joiakim begot Eliashib, and Eliashib begot Joiada,
11ヨヤダにヨナタンが生まれ、ヨナタンにヤドゥアが生まれた。
11and Joiada begot Jonathan and Jonathan begot Jaddua.
12ヨヤキムの時代に、祭司であり父の家の長であった者は次のとおりである。セラヤの家ではメラヤ、エレミヤの家ではハナニヤ、
12And in the days of Joiakim were priests, heads of fathers' houses: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;
13エズラの家系ではメシュラム。アマルヤの家系ではエホハナン。
13of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;
14マルキの家系ではヨナタン。シェバニヤの家系ではヨセフ。
14of Melicu, Jonathan; of Shebaniah, Joseph;
15ハリムの家系ではアデナ。メラヨテの家系ではヘルカイ。
15of Harim, Adna; of Meraioth, Helkai;
16イドの家系ではゼカリヤ。ギネトンの家系ではメシュラム。
16of Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam;
17アビヤの家ではジクリ、ミンヤミンの家では、またモアデヤの家ではピルタイ、
17of Abijah, Zichri; of Miniamin; of Moadiah, Piltai;
18ビルガの家系ではシャムア。シェマヤの家系ではエホナタン。
18of Bilgah, Shammua; of Shemaiah, Jehonathan;
19ヨヤリブの家系ではマテナイ。エダヤの家系ではウジ。
19and of Joiarib, Mattenai; of Jedaiah, Uzzi;
20サライの家系ではカライ。アモクの家系ではエベル。
20of Sallai, Kallai; of Amok, Eber;
21ヒルキヤの家系ではハシャビヤ。エダヤの家系ではネタンエル。
21of Hilkiah, Hashabiah; of Jedaiah, Nethanel.
22エリアシブ、ヨヤダ、ヨハナン、ヤドゥアの時代に、レビ人の父の家の長たちが記録された。祭司たちも、ペルシア人ダレイオスの治世に記録された。
22The Levites in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, were recorded heads of fathers' houses; also the priests, in the reign of Darius the Persian.
23レビの子らで父の家の長である者たちは、エリアシブの子ヨハナンの時代に至るまで、年代記の書に記録された。
23The sons of Levi, heads of fathers' houses, were written in the book of the chronicles, even until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.
24レビ人の長たちは、ハシャビヤ、シェレブヤ、カドミエルの子エシュアであり、兄弟たちは彼らと向かい合い、神の人ダビデの命令に従って、組ごとに賛美と感謝をささげた。
24And the chiefs of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise and give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, ward against ward.
25マタヌヤ、バクブクヤ、オバデヤ、メシュラム、タルモン、アクブは門衛で、門にある倉を見張っていた。
25Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were porters keeping the ward at the store-houses of the gates.
26これらの者は、エホツァダクの子エシュアの子ヨヤキムの時代、また総督ネヘミヤと、祭司であり書記官であるエズラの時代にいた。
26These were in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest the scribe.
27エルサレムの城壁の奉献式にあたり、彼らは各地からレビ人を捜し出してエルサレムへ連れて来た。感謝と歌、シンバル、弦楽器、竪琴をもって、喜びのうちに奉献式を行うためであった。
27And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.
28歌うたいたちの子らは、エルサレム周辺の平地とネトファ人の村々から集まった。
28And the sons of the singers gathered themselves together, both out of the Plain round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of the Netophathites;
29またベテ・ギルガルから、そしてゲバとアズマベテの畑からも集まった。歌うたいたちはエルサレムの周囲に自分たちのための村々を建てていたからである。
29also from Beth-gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth; for the singers had builded them villages round about Jerusalem.
30祭司とレビ人は自らをきよめ、民、門、城壁をもきよめた。
30And the priests and the Levites purified themselves; and they purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.
31それから私はユダの指導者たちを城壁の上に上らせ、感謝をささげながら行進する二つの大きな隊を任命した。一隊は城壁の上を右へ進み、糞の門に向かった。
31Then I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great companies that gave thanks and went in procession: on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate;
32彼らの後にはホシャヤと、ユダの指導者たちの半数が続いた。
32and after them went Hoshaiah, and half of the princes of Judah;
33またアザルヤ、エズラ、メシュラム、
33and Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,
34ユダ、ベニヤミン、シェマヤ、エレミヤもいた。
34Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah;
35祭司の子らの何人かはラッパを持っていた。すなわち、アサフの子ザクルの子ミカヤの子マタヌヤの子シェマヤの子ヨナタンの子ゼカリヤ、
35and certain of the priests' sons with trumpets: Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph;
36および彼の兄弟シェマヤ、アザルエル、ミラライ、ギラライ、マアイ、ネタンエル、ユダ、ハナニである。彼らは神の人ダビデの楽器を持ち、書記エズラが先頭に立った。
36and his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azarel, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethanel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God; and Ezra the scribe was before them;
37泉の門のところで、彼らはまっすぐダビデの町の階段を上り、城壁の上り口からダビデの家の上をとおり、東の水の門まで進んだ。
37and by the fountain gate, and straight before them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, above the house of David, even unto the water gate eastward.
38感謝をささげるもう一つの隊は、彼らに向かって進み、私は民の半数とともにその後に従った。城壁の上を、かまどのやぐらの上から広い城壁まで進み、
38And the other company of them that gave thanks went to meet them, and I after them, with the half of the people, upon the wall, above the tower of the furnaces, even unto the broad wall;
39エフライムの門の上、古い門、魚の門、ハナネルのやぐら、ハメアのやぐらをとおり、羊の門まで進んだ。そして監視の門で立ち止まった。
39and above the gate of Ephraim, and by the gate of the old city and by the fish gate, and the tower of Hananel, and the tower of Hammeah, even unto the sheep gate; and they stood still in the gate of the guard.
40こうして、感謝をささげる二つの隊は神の家に立ち、私も、私とともにいた役人たちの半数もそこに立った。
40So stood the two companies of them that gave thanks in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me;
41祭司であるエリアキム、マアセヤ、ミンヤミン、ミカヤ、エリョエナイ、ゼカリヤ、ハナニヤはラッパを持ち、
41and the priests, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;
42また、マアセヤ、シェマヤ、エレアザル、ウジ、エホハナン、マルキヤ、エラム、エゼルもいた。歌うたいたちは、指揮者イズラフヤのもとで声高く歌った。
42and Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang loud, with Jezrahiah their overseer.
43その日、彼らは大きないけにえをささげて喜んだ。神が彼らに大きな喜びを与えられたからである。女たちも子どもたちも喜び、エルサレムの喜びの声は遠くまで聞こえた。
43And they offered great sacrifices that day, and rejoiced; for God had made them rejoice with great joy; and the women also and the children rejoiced; so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.
44その日、宝物、奉納物、初穂、十分の一を納める部屋を管理する者たちが任命された。律法によって祭司とレビ人に定められた分を、町々の畑からその部屋へ集めるためであった。ユダの人々は、務めに就く祭司とレビ人を喜んでいた。
44And on that day were men appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the heave-offerings, for the first-fruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them, according to the fields of the cities, the portions appointed by the law for the priests and Levites; for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that took their stations.
45彼らは神への務めと、きよめの務めを守った。歌うたいと門衛も、ダビデとその子ソロモンの命令に従って務めを守った。
45And they kept the ward of their God, and the ward of the purification, and so did the singers and the porters, according to the commandment of David, and of Solomon his son.
46昔、ダビデとアサフの時代には、歌うたいたちの長がおり、神への賛美と感謝の歌があった。
46For in the days of David and Asaph of old there were chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving unto God.
47ゼルバベルの時代とネヘミヤの時代に、全イスラエルは歌うたいと門衛に、日ごとに必要な分を与えた。またレビ人の分を聖別し、レビ人はアロンの子らの分を聖別した。
47And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, as every day required; and they hallowed for the Levites; and the Levites hallowed for the sons of Aaron.
