1ダビデと軍の指揮官たちは、アサフ、ヘマン、エドゥトンの子らの中から、竪琴、弦楽器、シンバルを奏でながら預言する者たちを奉仕のために取り分けた。その奉仕に当たった者の数は次のとおりである。
1Additionally, David and the commanders of the army set apart some of the sons of Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun to prophesy with the accompaniment of lyres, harps, and cymbals. The following is the list of the men who performed this service:
2アサフの子らは、ザクル、ヨセフ、ネタヌヤ、アサレラ。アサフの子らはアサフの指揮下にあり、アサフは王の命令に従って預言した。
2From the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asarelah. These sons of Asaph were under the direction of Asaph, who prophesied under the direction of the king.
3エドゥトンからは、エドゥトンの子ら、ゲダルヤ、ツェリ、エシャヤ、シムイ、ハシャブヤ、マティテヤの六人。彼らは父エドゥトンの指揮下にあった。エドゥトンは竪琴を奏で、主に感謝と賛美をささげながら預言した。
3From the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah—six in all—under the direction of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with the harp, giving thanks and praise to the LORD.
4ヘマンからは、ヘマンの子ら、ブキヤ、マタヌヤ、ウジエル、シェブエル、エリモテ、ハナンヤ、ハナニ、エリアタ、ギダルティ、ロマムティ・エゼル、ヨシュベカシャ、マロティ、ホティル、マハジオテ。
4From the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.
5これらは皆、神の言葉を伝える王の先見者ヘマンの子らであり、ヘマンの角を高く上げるために与えられた者たちであった。神はヘマンに十四人の息子と三人の娘を与えられた。
5All these sons of Heman the king’s seer were given him through the promises of God to exalt him, for God had given Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
6彼らは皆、父の指揮下にあり、シンバル、弦楽器、竪琴を用いて主の家で歌い、神の家の奉仕に当たった。アサフ、エドゥトン、ヘマンは王の指揮下にあった。
6All these were under the direction of their fathers for the music of the house of the LORD with cymbals, harps, and lyres, for the service of the house of God. Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman were under the direction of the king.
7彼らとその兄弟たちのうち、主にささげる歌の訓練を受けた熟練者は、全部で二百八十八人であった。
7Together with their relatives, who were all trained and skillful in the songs of the LORD, they numbered 288.
8彼らは、年少者も年長者も、教師も弟子も分け隔てなく、奉仕の務めを決めるためにくじを引いた。
8They cast lots for their duties, young and old alike, teacher as well as pupil.
9第一のくじはアサフに属するヨセフに当たり、第二はゲダルヤに当たった。彼とその兄弟および息子たちは十二人。
9The first lot, which was for Asaph, fell to Joseph, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all; the second to Gedaliah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
10第三はザクルに当たり、その息子と兄弟たちは十二人。
10the third to Zaccur, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
11第四はイツリに当たり、その息子と兄弟たちは十二人。
11the fourth to Izri, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
12第五はネタヌヤに当たり、その息子と兄弟たちは十二人。
12the fifth to Nethaniah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
13第六はブキヤに当たり、その息子と兄弟たちは十二人。
13the sixth to Bukkiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
14第七はエサレラに当たり、その息子と兄弟たちは十二人。
14the seventh to Jesarelah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
15第八はエシャヤに当たり、その息子と兄弟たちは十二人。
15the eighth to Jeshaiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
16第九はマタヌヤに当たり、その息子と兄弟たちは十二人。
16the ninth to Mattaniah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
17第十はシムイに当たり、その息子と兄弟たちは十二人。
17the tenth to Shimei, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
18第十一はアザルエルに当たり、その息子と兄弟たちは十二人。
18the eleventh to Azarel, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
19第十二はハシャブヤに当たり、その息子と兄弟たちは十二人。
19the twelfth to Hashabiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
20第十三はシュバエルに当たり、その息子と兄弟たちは十二人。
20the thirteenth to Shubael, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
21第十四はマティテヤに当たり、その息子と兄弟たちは十二人。
21the fourteenth to Mattithiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
22第十五はエレモテに当たり、その息子と兄弟たちは十二人。
22the fifteenth to Jeremoth, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
23第十六はハナンヤに当たり、その息子と兄弟たちは十二人。
23the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
24第十七はヨシュベカシャに当たり、その息子と兄弟たちは十二人。
24the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
25第十八はハナニに当たり、その息子と兄弟たちは十二人。
25the eighteenth to Hanani, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
26第十九はマロティに当たり、その息子と兄弟たちは十二人。
26the nineteenth to Mallothi, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
27第二十はエリアタに当たり、その息子と兄弟たちは十二人。
27the twentieth to Eliathah, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
28第二十一はホティルに当たり、その息子と兄弟たちは十二人。
28the twenty-first to Hothir, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
29第二十二はギダルティに当たり、その息子と兄弟たちは十二人。
29the twenty-second to Giddalti, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
30第二十三はマハジオテに当たり、その息子と兄弟たちは十二人。
30the twenty-third to Mahazioth, his sons, and his brothers—12 in all;
