1E HALELU aku oukou ia Iehova: E halelu aku i ke Akua, ma kona wahi hoano; E halelu aku ia ia, ma ke aouli o kona hanohano.
1Praise ye the LORD . Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
2E halelu aku ia ia, no kana mau hana mana; E halelu aku ia ia, e like me ka manomano o kona nui;
2Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
3E halelu aku ia ia, me ke kani ana o ka pu; E halelu aku ia ia, me ka Violaumi a me ka Lira;
3Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
4E halelu aku ia ia, me ka pahukani, a me ka haa ana; E halelu aku ia ia, me ka pahu kaula, a me ka ohe.
4Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
5E halelu aku ia ia, me na kimebala kani nui; E halelu aku ia ia, me na kimebala kani kiekie.
5Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
6E halelu aku ia Iehova, na mea hanu a pau; E halelu aku oukou ia Iehova.
6Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD . Praise ye the LORD .
