1ส่วนที่เผ่าลูกหลานยูดาห์ได้รับจากการจับสลากตามตระกูลของพวกเขา ไปถึงพรมแดนเอโดมและถิ่นทุรกันดารซินทางใต้สุด
1This then was the lot of the tribe of the children of Judah by their families; even to the border of Edom the wilderness of Zin southward was the uttermost part of the south coast.

2And their south border was from the shore of the salt sea, from the bay that looketh southward:

3And it went out to the south side to Maaleh-acrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadesh-barnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa:

4From thence it passed toward Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the goings out of that coast were at the sea: this shall be your south coast.
5เขตแดนด้านตะวันออกคือทะเลเกลือไปจนถึงปลายแม่น้ำจอร์แดน ส่วนเขตแดนด้านเหนือเริ่มจากอ่าวของทะเลที่ปลายแม่น้ำจอร์แดน
5And the east border was the salt sea, even unto the end of Jordan. And their border in the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the uttermost part of Jordan:
6เขตแดนขึ้นไปยังเบธฮกลาห์ ผ่านทางเหนือของเบธอาราบาห์ แล้วขึ้นไปถึงก้อนหินของโบฮันบุตรรูเบน
6And the border went up to Beth-hogla, and passed along by the north of Beth-arabah; and the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben:
7เขตแดนขึ้นจากหุบเขาอาโครไปยังเดบีร์ แล้วมุ่งขึ้นเหนือไปทางกิลกาลซึ่งอยู่ตรงข้ามทางขึ้นอาดุมมิม ทางขึ้นนี้อยู่ด้านใต้ของแม่น้ำ จากนั้นเขตแดนผ่านไปยังแหล่งน้ำเอนเชเมชและสิ้นสุดที่เอนโรเกล
7And the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, that is before the going up to Adummim, which is on the south side of the river: and the border passed toward the waters of En-shemesh, and the goings out thereof were at En-rogel:
8เขตแดนขึ้นไปตามหุบเขาบุตรฮินโนม ผ่านด้านใต้ของเมืองชาวเยบุส ซึ่งก็คือเยรูซาเล็ม แล้วขึ้นไปถึงยอดภูเขาซึ่งอยู่หน้าหุบเขาฮินโนมทางตะวันตก ตรงปลายสุดด้านเหนือของหุบเขาเรฟาอิม
8And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite; the same is Jerusalem: and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of the giants northward:
9เขตแดนทอดจากยอดภูเขาไปยังน้ำพุเนฟโทอาห์ ออกไปยังเมืองต่าง ๆ บนภูเขาเอโฟรน แล้วทอดไปถึงบาอาลาห์ ซึ่งก็คือคีริยาทเยอาริม
9And the border was drawn from the top of the hill unto the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border was drawn to Baalah, which is Kirjath-jearim:
10จากบาอาลาห์ เขตแดนวกไปทางตะวันตกถึงภูเขาเสอีร์ ผ่านไหล่เขาเยอาริมทางเหนือ ซึ่งก็คือเคสาโลน ลงไปยังเบธเชเมช และผ่านไปยังทิมนาห์
10And the border compassed from Baalah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Jearim, which is Chesalon, on the north side, and went down to Beth-shemesh, and passed on to Timnah:
11เขตแดนออกไปยังด้านเหนือของเอโครน ทอดไปถึงชิกเคโรน ผ่านภูเขาบาอาลาห์ ออกไปถึงยับเนเอล และสิ้นสุดที่ทะเล
11And the border went out unto the side of Ekron northward: and the border was drawn to Shicron, and passed along to mount Baalah, and went out unto Jabneel; and the goings out of the border were at the sea.
12เขตแดนด้านตะวันตกคือชายฝั่งทะเลใหญ่ นี่คือเขตแดนของลูกหลานยูดาห์ตามตระกูลของพวกเขา
12And the west border was to the great sea, and the coast thereof . This is the coast of the children of Judah round about according to their families.
13โยชูวามอบส่วนแบ่งหนึ่งท่ามกลางลูกหลานยูดาห์แก่คาเลบบุตรเยฟุนเนห์ ตามพระบัญชาที่พระยาห์เวห์ทรงมีต่อโยชูวา คือคีริยาทอารบาซึ่งตั้งตามชื่อบิดาของอานาค และก็คือเฮโบรน
13¶ And unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh he gave a part among the children of Judah, according to the commandment of the LORD to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak, which city is Hebron.
14คาเลบขับไล่บุตรชายสามคนของอานาคออกไป คือเชชัย อาหิมาน และทัลมัย ซึ่งเป็นลูกหลานของอานาค
14And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.
15จากนั้นเขาขึ้นไปต่อสู้กับชาวเมืองเดบีร์ เดิมเดบีร์ชื่อคีริยาทเสเฟอร์
15And he went up thence to the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kirjath-sepher.
16คาเลบกล่าวว่า “ผู้ใดโจมตีและยึดคีริยาทเสเฟอร์ได้ เราจะยกอัคสาห์บุตรสาวของเราให้เป็นภรรยาของผู้นั้น”
16¶ And Caleb said, He that smiteth Kirjath-sepher, and taketh it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter to wife.
17โอทนีเอลบุตรเคนัส ซึ่งเป็นพี่น้องกับคาเลบ ยึดเมืองนั้นได้ คาเลบจึงยกอัคสาห์บุตรสาวให้เป็นภรรยาของเขา
17And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife.
18เมื่ออัคสาห์มาถึง นางชักชวนโอทนีเอลให้ขอที่ดินแปลงหนึ่งจากบิดาของนาง แล้วนางก็ลงจากหลังลา คาเลบถามว่า “เจ้าต้องการอะไร?”
18And it came to pass, as she came unto him , that she moved him to ask of her father a field: and she lighted off her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What wouldest thou?
19นางตอบว่า “โปรดให้พรแก่ข้าพเจ้าด้วย ในเมื่อท่านให้ข้าพเจ้าตั้งถิ่นฐานในดินแดนทางใต้ โปรดให้ตาน้ำแก่ข้าพเจ้าด้วย” คาเลบจึงมอบตาน้ำด้านบนและตาน้ำด้านล่างแก่นาง
19Who answered, Give me a blessing; for thou hast given me a south land; give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs, and the nether springs.
20นี่คือมรดกของเผ่าลูกหลานยูดาห์ตามตระกูลของพวกเขา
20This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families.
21เมืองที่อยู่ไกลสุดของเผ่าลูกหลานยูดาห์ทางพรมแดนเอโดมในดินแดนทางใต้ ได้แก่คับเซเอล เอเดอร์ ยากูร์
21And the uttermost cities of the tribe of the children of Judah toward the coast of Edom southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,
22คีนาห์ ดิโมนาห์ อาดาดาห์
22And Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,
23เคเดช ฮาโซร์ อิทนาน
23And Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,
24ศิฟ เทเลม เบอาโลท
24Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,
25ฮาโซร์ฮาดัททาห์ เคริโอทเฮสโรน ซึ่งก็คือฮาโซร์
25And Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth, and Hezron, which is Hazor,
26อามัม เชมา โมลาดาห์
26Amam, and Shema, and Moladah,
27ฮาซาร์กัดดาห์ เฮชโมน เบธเปเลท
27And Hazar-gaddah, and Heshmon, and Beth-palet,
28ฮาซาร์ชูอาล เบเออร์เชบา บิซิโอทิยาห์
28And Hazar-shual, and Beer-sheba, and Bizjothjah,
29บาอาลาห์ อียิม เอเซม
29Baalah, and Iim, and Azem,
30เอลโทลาด เคซิล โฮรมาห์
30And Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah,
31ศิกลาก มัดมันนาห์ สันสันนาห์
31And Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah,
32เลบาโอท ชิลฮิม อาอิน และริมโมน รวมเมืองทั้งหมดได้ยี่สิบเก้าเมืองพร้อมหมู่บ้านโดยรอบ
32And Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon: all the cities are twenty and nine, with their villages:
33ในที่ราบต่ำ ได้แก่เอชทาโอล โศราห์ อัชนาห์
33And in the valley, Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,
34ศาโนอาห์ เอนกันนิม ทัปปูวาห์ เอนาม
34And Zanoah, and En-gannim, Tappuah, and Enam,
35ยารมูท อดุลลัม โสโคห์ อาเซคาห์
35Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah,
36ชาอาราอิม อาดิธาอิม และเกเดราห์ หรือเกเดโรธาอิม รวมสิบสี่เมืองพร้อมหมู่บ้านโดยรอบ
36And Sharaim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim; fourteen cities with their villages:
37เซนัน ฮาดาชาห์ มิกดัลกาด
37Zenan, and Hadashah, and Migdal-gad,
38ดิลอาน มิสปาห์ โยกเธเอล
38And Dilean, and Mizpeh, and Joktheel,
39ลาคีช โบสคัท เอกโลน
39Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,
40คับโบน ลาห์มาม คิทลิช
40And Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Kithlish,
41เกเดโรท เบธดาโกน นาอามาห์ และมักเคดาห์ รวมสิบหกเมืองพร้อมหมู่บ้านโดยรอบ
41And Gederoth, Beth-dagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah; sixteen cities with their villages:
42ลิบนาห์ เอเธอร์ อาชาน
42Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan,
43อิฟทาห์ อัชนาห์ เนซิบ
43And Jiphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,
44เคอีลาห์ อัคซิบ และมาเรชาห์ รวมเก้าเมืองพร้อมหมู่บ้านโดยรอบ
44And Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine cities with their villages:
45เอโครน พร้อมเมืองบริวารและหมู่บ้านโดยรอบ
45Ekron, with her towns and her villages:
46ตั้งแต่เอโครนไปจนถึงทะเล รวมทุกแห่งที่อยู่ใกล้อัชโดดพร้อมหมู่บ้านโดยรอบ
46From Ekron even unto the sea, all that lay near Ashdod, with their villages:
47อัชโดดพร้อมเมืองบริวารและหมู่บ้านโดยรอบ กาซาพร้อมเมืองบริวารและหมู่บ้านโดยรอบ ไปจนถึงลำธารอียิปต์และทะเลใหญ่พร้อมชายฝั่ง
47Ashdod with her towns and her villages, Gaza with her towns and her villages, unto the river of Egypt, and the great sea, and the border thereof:
48ในเขตภูเขา ได้แก่ชามีร์ ยัททีร์ โสโคห์
48¶ And in the mountains, Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh,
49ดันนาห์ คีริยาทสันนาห์ ซึ่งก็คือเดบีร์
49And Dannah, and Kirjath-sannah, which is Debir,
50อานาบ เอชเทโมห์ อานิม
50And Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim,
51โกเชน โฮโลน และกิโลห์ รวมสิบเอ็ดเมืองพร้อมหมู่บ้านโดยรอบ
51And Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh; eleven cities with their villages:
52อารับ ดูมาห์ เอชาน
52Arab, and Dumah, and Eshean,
53ยานิม เบธทัปปูวาห์ อาเฟคาห์
53And Janum, and Beth-tappuah, and Aphekah,
54ฮุมทาห์ คีริยาทอารบา ซึ่งก็คือเฮโบรน และศิโอร์ รวมเก้าเมืองพร้อมหมู่บ้านโดยรอบ
54And Humtah, and Kirjath-arba, which is Hebron, and Zior; nine cities with their villages:
55มาโอน คารเมล ศิฟ ยูทาห์
55Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Juttah,
56ยิสเรเอล โยกเดอัม ศาโนอาห์
56And Jezreel, and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,
57คาอิน กิเบอาห์ และทิมนาห์ รวมสิบเมืองพร้อมหมู่บ้านโดยรอบ
57Cain, Gibeah, and Timnah; ten cities with their villages:
58ฮัลฮูล เบธศูร์ เกโดร์
58Halhul, Beth-zur, and Gedor,
59มาอารัท เบธอาโนท และเอลเทโคน รวมหกเมืองพร้อมหมู่บ้านโดยรอบ
59And Maarath, and Beth-anoth, and Eltekon; six cities with their villages:
60คีริยาทบาอัล ซึ่งก็คือคีริยาทเยอาริม และรับบาห์ รวมสองเมืองพร้อมหมู่บ้านโดยรอบ
60Kirjath-baal, which is Kirjath-jearim, and Rabbah; two cities with their villages:
61ในถิ่นทุรกันดาร ได้แก่เบธอาราบาห์ มิดดิน เสคาคาห์
61In the wilderness, Beth-arabah, Middin, and Secacah,
62นิบชาน เมืองเกลือ และเอนเกดี รวมหกเมืองพร้อมหมู่บ้านโดยรอบ
62And Nibshan, and the city of Salt, and En-gedi; six cities with their villages.
63ส่วนชาวเยบุสผู้อาศัยในเยรูซาเล็มนั้น ลูกหลานยูดาห์ไม่สามารถขับไล่พวกเขาออกไปได้ ชาวเยบุสจึงอาศัยอยู่กับลูกหลานยูดาห์ในเยรูซาเล็มจนถึงทุกวันนี้
63¶ As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out: but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day.
