Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
World English Bible
1I KIN likwirki n il ai o n Kot, o n Kot, me i pan likwir o n , o i me kotin ma n i ia.
1My cry goes to God! Indeed, I cry to God for help, and for him to listen to me.
2Ni ai anjau apwal, i kin rapaki leowa; ni po n pa i kin u wei o jota kin dukedi, pwe wen I jota kak injenemaula.
2In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord. My hand was stretched out in the night, and didn’t get tired. My soul refused to be comforted.
3Ni ai tamanda Kot, i kin ajenokida, ni ai madamadaua, n en i kin luetala.
3I remember God, and I groan. I complain, and my spirit is overwhelmed. Selah.
4Kom kin kotin kolekol por en maj ai, pwe ira en papat; n ai inen en luet, jolar itar o n lokaia.
4You hold my eyelids open. I am so troubled that I can’t speak.

5I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.
6Ni po n i kin lamelame duen ai kaja n arp, o mo n io n i kin madamadaua; n en i kin raparapaki.
6I remember my song in the night. I consider in my own heart; my spirit diligently inquires:
7Kalelapok, leowa pan kotin o n io n kokolata, o a jota pan kotin maki o n ?
7“Will the Lord reject us forever? Will he be favorable no more?
8A kala n an rojelar melel, o a inau imwijokalar kokolata?
8Has his loving kindness vanished forever? Does his promise fail for generations?
9Kot kotin malielar a mak o n kit, o a karirikilar o n io n a kala n an?
9Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he, in anger, withheld his compassion?” Selah.
10Ari jo, i indadar: Mepukat me mau o n ia; pali maun en lim en me Lapalap pan kak dorela meakaroj.
10Then I thought, “I will appeal to this: the years of the right hand of the Most High.”
11I me i kin taman kida wiawian leowa; melel i kin tamanda omui manaman akan ja n maj o,
11I will remember the LORD’s deeds; for I will remember your wonders of old.
12O madamadaua duen omui wiawia kan karoj, o kilekila n duen omui dodok.

17The clouds poured out water. The skies resounded with thunder. Your arrows also flashed around.
